A lovely calm environment to develop art skills
We have finally found a club my son enjoys! This is a lovely, welcoming, calm environment for those who prefer a quieter activity. Jasmine is incredibly nurturing and Jude is so helpful at encouraging my son. The quality of the art pieces the children produce is amazing! Every child works on their own projects so there isn’t any comparison or pressure. They really learn technique and skill here in this quiet haven. They also have fun little quizzes and games so it’s not all concentrated art time. It’s lovely.

It's so lovely to hear that your Son is enjoying his time here with us! He is so full of joy and I love seeing his Comics that he makes! He has been working so hard on his project for OXO, and his progress with painting and trying new things has been wonderful to see.
I hope he continues to have fun with art and we get to see much more of his beautiful artwork!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Art K. It’s given my daughter a refuge from her struggles at school and helped build her confidence. The whole atmosphere of Art K feels calming, it has a lovely smell of fresh paint and the vibe is nurturing and supportive! My daughter absolutely loves her sessions and especially Jasmine 🌸

These sessions are the highlight of my daughter's week.
Creative freedom is encouraged, alongside new methods, materials and media. The tutor is really lovely, and the classes are enjoyable.
Something I really value is their policy on make-up sessions, so if a lesson cannot be attended because of sickness or transport etc, they allow students to book into a make-up session on a different day.

It has been amazing to find this adult art class. I wanted to try doing art again since school and this class with the expert tutors has been a dream come true. They guide you through techniques and the choice of using different mediums. Love it. Thank you.

Great activity for kids development
its a great activity for my eldest who just loves going there. she's getting better with her art, loves the instructors, and finding new friends.
staff is so friendly, helpful and keeping the kids safe.

Adult Class - 5 star!
I’ve been doing the adult classes since January and I think they’re brilliant! The teaching is relaxed yet professional, knowledgeable and encouraging. I started with zero experience in art, and even less confidence, and have been amazed at what I’ve been able to produce in such a short time, starting with simple pencil drawings, moving on to water colours and now using oil paints. With all supplies included I think it’s really very good value money.

Thank you so much for your lovely review! Your Daughters have been making some beautiful projects in our Monday class, and I'm excited to see how their 3D watercolour project and Papier Mache turn out when they're finished, they are already looking incredible.
They are so lovely to have in class and I'm happy to hear that they love it!
very bad experience
Unfortunately, our experience at the workshop was disappointing.
During the session, several children were running around, making a lot of noise, and at one point blowing a hairdryer towards Veronika, which made her feel uncomfortable. The environment felt quite chaotic rather than calm and creative.
We also noticed that most of the teacher’s attention was focused on the younger children, and Veronika didn’t receive much guidance or support throughout the session.
We were hoping for a more structured and attentive environment. Sadly, it did not meet our expectations.

Thank you for your review, which allows us to clarify that workshops are a group activity where we offer students a range of options suitable for their age and interests. They receive individual coaching, guidance, and support for their chosen project and given the time to do the proejct. While everyone is treated individually, the support is not exclusive.
You were wanting 1:1 because you wanted to draw a realistic sketch of your family pet. The workshop team used their skill and experience to respond by exploring shading techniques and drawing prompts and providing all the materials impromptu to your request. You stayed to complete a wonderful sketch of your pet and took it home.
We take feedback about behaviour extremely seriously and reviewed your assertion that children were running around and using the hair dryer inappropriately by checking the studios CCTV. CCTV is maintained to check allegations. The evidence shows no such events took place. We always look for ways to improve but we don't accept allegations when they are not backed up by evidence.

Hands down the best class I have booked for my children and trust me, I have exhausted all options in my area.
The teachers are wonderful, fully engaged in making it the best experience for your child, for it to be fun and educational. So impressed that they call after you book, before their first class, just to chat about your child and get to know them a bit.
We turned up a little early for the first lesson, as my daughter was nervous. I was a little worried the teachers may feel we were in the way, as they were preparing for the next class but they could not have been more welcoming. They made my daughter feel at home straight away.
When I picked my daughter up, she begged me to sign her up for every week, as she loved it so much. She's even gone for a day, during half term.
Cannot recommend these classes enough!

Her Sue Dove puppet is beautiful, with such careful painting and drawing. We're so excited to see her work on her next projects, and continue being a ray of sunshine in class!
Sip and paint success 🎨
I took my family to a sip and paint session, it was amazing! Jasmine made us all feel at ease and helped every step of the way. Our group was a mixed ability and everyone left with an artwork true to the prototype😌
Highly recommend this kind of session to anyone who wants to get back into or start being creative 👍🏻

Brilliant art class for children
My daughter has attended Art-K Winchester for three years now and it is something she looks forward to every week. Her confidence has grown and being surrounded by others has helped inspire her. The teachers are very supportive and the new studio is lovely!
Highly recommended for any child who does not feel they get enough time or opportunity at school to develop their artistic skills.

We are delighted by the progress your daughter is making. In her current 3D watercolour piece, she is demonstrating a real strength in mixing and applying subtle colours to depict an Arctic scene. We cannot wait to see it continue developing!
