die tour war hervorragend organisiert, trotzdem hatte man auch freiräume. die landschaft, die hohen pässe, die menschen und ihre kultur waren faszinieren. durch die enorme höhe ist es körperlich schon anstrengend, wenn man einigermassen fit ist, ist es aber zu bewältigen. es war ein unvergessliches erlebnis.

Nach dem ich bereits 2024 mit ABT in Nepal unterwegs war, stand in diesem Jahr die Reise nach Ladakh auf dem Plan. Nach der wundervollen Tour 2024 mit Tour Guide Konstantin war es für mich selbstverständlich, auch die Tour nach Ladakh wieder mit ABT zu unternehmen. Neben einer tollen Tourenauswahl kombiniert aus Asphalt- und Offroadabschnitten verstand es Tour Guide Manuel bestens uns auch die Kultur und die Menschen des überwältigenden Landes näher zu bringen.
Die Reise wird für mich immer in bester Erinnerung bleiben. Herzlichen dank an das Team von ABT.

Es war mittlerweile schon meine dritte Tour mit Shankar, diesmal durch die Berge Nordvietnams. Auch diesmal wieder eine großartige Tour, bei der alles gestimmt hat. Bemerkenswert ist auch die geschickte Auswahl der Partnervor Ort (Motorrad-Verleih, local Guide, Mechanniker), die Stimmung in der gesamten Gruppe ist dadurch immer auf einem Top-level. Immer wieder gerne mit Asia Bike Tours.

Mit Freunden haben wir im April 2026 mit Asia Bike Tours eine Motorradreise durch Nordvietnam unternommen. Organisator und Reiseleiter von Asia Bike Tour war Shankar, vor Ort hatten wir zusätzlich einen lokalen Guide - Sebastian - und einen lokalen Verleiher für die Bikes. Da einige von uns bereits in den Jahren zuvor mit Shankar in Asien unterwegs waren stand fest : mit Shankar wollen wir wieder die guten Erfahrungen der Vergangenheit wiederholen. Und so war es dann auch - begonnen mit einer persönlichen Betreuung bei Beratung und Buchung und dem Eingehen auf unsere individuellen Wünsche hatten wir eine tolle, perfekt durchgeführte und ereignisreiche Tour. Unterwegs auf vielen Routen abseits über Land, z.T. kleinen Wegen, gefühlt auf tausend Kurven unterwegs durch die beeindruckende Landschaft der Karstberge im Norden bis an die Grenze zu China, untergebracht in kleinen, privaten homestays, haben wir viel von Land und Leuten gesehen und erlebt. Es war wohl nicht die letzte Tour mit Shankar und Asia Bike Tours - vielen Dank an Shankar und alle Helfer im Hintergrund - Ihr sein ein toller Reiseveranstalter - den man nur uneingeschränkt empfehlen kann -- Vielen Dank und weiter viel Erfolg auf Euren Wegen ! Die Vietnam-Tour mit Shankar als Gide und Organisator ist meine zweite Motorradtour, nachdem ich mit ihm zuvor in Ladakh die Pässe gefahren bin. Auch hier ist mein Votum: Bester Gide und Reiseführer, umsichtig, einfühlsam und top organisiert, uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Es war wieder ein tolles Erlebnis - danke

Es war eine traumhafte Reise mit perfekter Planung und Leitung . Wirklich unvergesslich!

The "Wildest Passes 2025" tour was an absolute highlight! Perfectly organized from start to finish, the route took us through the breathtaking landscapes of Ladakh – majestic passes, endless expanses, and fascinating culture. The mix of comfortable hotels and simple, authentic accommodations gave the trip a very special charm and allowed us to experience the real India.
The fantastic team deserves special mention: The tour guide always drove ahead, ensuring safety and orientation, while the support team at the back of the group cared lovingly for each individual participant. Whether it was technical assistance, personal concerns, or spontaneous requests – everything possible was made possible.
This trip was not just an adventure on two wheels, but also a personally enriching experience. I highly recommend it to every motorcycle enthusiast!

Die Tour „Wildest Passes 2025“ war ein absolutes Highlight! Von Anfang bis Ende perfekt organisiert, führte uns die Route durch die atemberaubende Landschaft Ladakhs – majestätische Pässe, endlose Weiten und faszinierende Kultur. Die Mischung aus komfortablen Hotels und einfachen, authentischen Unterkünften verlieh der Reise einen ganz besonderen Charme und ließ uns das echte Indien erleben.
Besonders hervorzuheben ist das großartige Team: Der Tourguide fuhr stets voraus, sorgte für Sicherheit und Orientierung, während das Begleitteam am Ende der Gruppe sich rührend um jeden einzelnen Teilnehmer kümmerte. Egal ob technische Hilfe, persönliche Anliegen oder spontane Wünsche – es wurde alles möglich gemacht, was möglich war.
Diese Reise war nicht nur ein Abenteuer auf zwei Rädern, sondern auch eine menschlich bereichernde Erfahrung. Ich kann sie jedem Motorradliebhaber wärmstens empfehlen!

It was an adventurous trip with some necessary route changes due to extreme weather conditions such as snow, rain, and mudslides. I felt safe at all times because our guide, Manu, took perfect care of us at all times. It was an exciting trip. I also particularly appreciated Manu's extensive knowledge of the region and his consistently humorous and optimistic attitude, despite some difficulties due to the monsoon. I can recommend Asia Bikes 100 percent. The entire team (mechanics and drivers) were always on hand. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

We just finished a 2 week tour in Thailand - our second tour with Asia Bike Tours. If you love bends, bends and more bends, then this is the trip for you! The tour incorporates part of the Mae Hong Son Loop (not all of it - probably about half), which is an experience in itself.
The riding takes you through a variety of roads, mostly countryside routes, giving the opportunity to see more of the “real” Thailand.
The Thai people are immensely welcoming and the food has been absolutely amazing!
Riding pace was great, with plenty of time for coffee stops and photo shoots.
A couple of the hotels were in fairly remote places, so nowhere to explore at night - but great for relaxing at the end of a day’s riding.
Ultimately the difference between a good tour and a great tour can be down to the guide. On this tour we had the benefit of being led by Enrico - nothing was too much trouble to organise or sort. Great personality and we had a lot of fun. We felt very lucky and like to think we parted as friends at the end of the tour - thanks Enrico - you made all the difference!!
Will not hesitate to book a motorcycle tour with Asia Bike Tours for a third time!

Fantastische Tour in Ladakh mit ausgezeichnetem Führer. Mondlandschaften mit Bergen, die grün, lila und rot gestreift sind. Teilweise anspruchsvolle, aber machbare Strecken mit optimaler Dauer; Das tägliche Briefing hat uns darauf vorbereitet. Die Tour ist sorgfältig organisiert, man fühlt sich gut aufgehoben. Ein Jeep mit Mechaniker und Fahrer folgte uns, wir hatten einen Reifenschaden und das Rad wurde sofort ausgetauscht. Die kurzen Pausen bei örtlichen Unternehmen waren authentisch und willkommen. Ich habe die kulturellen und sozialen Informationen, die der Reiseführer mit hervorragender Rhetorik erklärt hat, sehr geschätzt.

Joined a 10-day bike tour in northern Vietnam with a group of 10 others and it was a fantastic experience. 🇻🇳. The scenery of rice fields was stunning, the guides were knowledgeable, funny and made us feel safe at all times. Bikes were well-maintained, accommodations were comfortable, and provided a genuine Vietnam experience with the nice eco farm lodges we stayed at. Weather cooperated most of the time, adding to the enjoyment. The people we met were friendly, and the food was delicious & always on time & enough. Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone wanting to explore Vietnam in a unique way! It’s a must do in a lifetime. Thank you Nathanael, Benedict & Julian for this amazing time. Tolle Organisation, insbesondere zu unserer Silberhochzeit, hier noch einmal ein ganz dickes Dankeschön an Euch ..

Tolles Land, beeindruckende Natur, bestes Essen, ausschließlich klasse ausgesucht Unterkünfte, ganz liebe Thailänder, reibungslose Ablauf. Und dank Heinrich und keinem starren Fahrkonzept kam jeder auf seine Kosten.

Durch dann noch tolle Mitreisende wurde der Urlaub richtig perfekt, daher auch Dank an alle Mitfahrer und an die Rücksicht, wenn es mal nicht ganz perfekt lief, ich sage nur Hund....

Wir bleiben Wiederholungstäter, 2025 ist fest eingeplant, Reiseführer bestellt.

Ganz lieben Gruss, wir sind 8 Tage nach der Rückkehr immer noch ganz geflasht von den Erlebnissen und Eindrücken ...

Spectacular!
A unique motor-bike-tour, with great people, unfortunately ended much too fast! However we enjoyed every day!
On our 14-day round trip through "little Tibet" (North India, Ladakh Province - Himalaya Region) we were super cared for by Benedikt and his team Naresh, VJ and Jigmey, above all very obliging, cordial and with a very good sense of humor.
The bikes (mainly Royal Enfields Himalayans) were in top condition and were maintained daily by the team and repaired if necessary (even at night ). Actually only one "flat tire" we had to complain on our whole trip, that means something! At all stops, they always offered us drinks & refreshments. The landscape, the culture, the people... everything and every day a highlight! Benedikt knew a lot to tell us and always had everything under control. Each day began with a short briefing, so that one could prepare easily for the day. If a road was not passable due to natural forces, an alternative route was found without further ado.
Asia Bike Tours can be highly recommended to everybody who wants to discover North-India (or any other Asian region) by motorbike!

Motorcycle trip Ladakh & Zanskar Valey
I was with my family and a few friends at the end of July with Asia Bike Tours in Ladakh & Zanskar. It was one of the most fascinating and breathtaking trips I have done so far. The landscape, culture and people immediately captivated us. Benji (local guide from Asia Bike Tours) and his team did a great job. The tours were flexibly adapted to the conditions and the knowledge and experience of the locals were queried to select the best routes. The whole Asia Bike Tours team took great care of us and the bikes and minor damages were immediately repaired professionally. We learned a lot about the local customs and habits through Benji, had great conversations and could learn a lot from him.
Our expectations of the trip were more than exceeded and we had a great time!
Thank you Benji and Asia Bike Tours for the great organization, was certainly not the last trip with you!
