Very bad service me and my husband ordered an item which was sent wrong , try and return the item before the 7 day deadline ….impossible, just get ignored nobody answers phone , my advice avoid.

Placed an order online, got an email an hour later saying the price had been changed and if I wanted my order then I would have to follow a payment link to pay a further £60
Called up to ask what had happened, said he wouldn't make enough profit on the original price, he got aggressive and said "don't bother I'll cancel it as I'll sell them by the end of the week anyway"
Only gave one star as I had to register review, Purchased a Lexus 400h double din fitting kit online for £142.00 in February, still no sign of the item, tried to contact via website and telephone no response and website was down for several days. now 3 weeks overdue, no sign of item orders..I wish I had checked Trustpilot beforehand.. an unreliable and scam company...Avoid at all costs, don't give them any business

I bought a DVD to update the maps on my sat nav. Dispatched quickly but didn't work. I asked for a refund. Refused and I was advised some units need to be copied from an SD card. Bought the card and sent it to them to copy. This was done and the card was returned but with no instructions of what to do. Searched Internet and found instructions. Still not working so asked again for refund. Refused saying that it was a "special purchase" and they would not refund. At the moment, the problem hasn’t been resolved in spite of numerous emails with advice on how to resolve. At the present time, I've got nothing to show for my £90 spend. Watch this space

The owner contacted me on my mobile a few minutes after my order to confirm some details I had missed. Delivery came the next day despite my mistake in the order. If this is not a 5-star service, I don't know what it is.
radio arrived, I bench tested it & couldn't get it to work so returned it.AVW returned it promptly saying there was nothing wrong with it & charged £10 for the check & return, I had no problem with this, I assumed I had done something stupid! Inadvertently I paid them £30 & requested £20 reimbursement. However I tested it again, & got a friend to check I was doing the test properly & still couldn't get it to switch on.
I emailed asking for guidance on how to bench test, assuming we were still doing something wrong, in these emails I was also requesting my £20 back. Although I got some reply's initially, never giving any advice on the test, it seemed clear they didn't want to refund the overpayment. they asked for evidence of the payments which I supplied then just gave me £10 back! I've chased them several times & now they ignore my emails. Judging by their awful trust pilot rating I'm guessing I will get some curt reply to this however I live in hope that I might get my 10 quid back & some help on how to fire up the radio!
DO NOT TAKE THE RISK. Believe all the reviews below. This company should be wound up. Here are a few words to sum them up: Aggressive. Dishonest. Ill informed. Threatening. Law breaking. I expect to see a silly response to my review, but trust me, this company will take your money for goods they do not have in stock and do anything they can to avoid issuing a refund, or acknowledging that they have taken your money under false pretences. You will regret ever having heard of these charlatans.
Huge warming to not buy from this company. They missold a product on their website for a Jaguar XF android auto unit. It was described as having a touch screen and also the website said no modifications to existing head unit. Well how big a lie. They sent me a pcb board and instructions to crack open the head unit and wire in a new pcb to the radio and leave a wire dangling out the back of the radio in order to get it going.
I told avw about this and said I wanted a return because it was not as described. Their response is apparently to call some random guy called chan at xcarlink and said they'd be able to solve the issue. How can technical support fix a case of an item not being as described. What does avw think they're going to do? Develop a new product that fits in with audio visual worlds big lie of a description. They are ignorant and rude and ignore all the points you raise and say contact xcarlink. I had to open a chargeback at the bank against this company. They provided a returns address in Luton to xcarlink and not to their address in Manchesterml and expect me to pay return postage. I spoke to the bank who say I am within my rights not to pay and that should avw want their product back They can provide return postage in form of label or cost.
To this date they still haven't provided return label or cost.
Looking at all these reviews It's a wonder they're allowed to trade.

Abolutely hopeless save your time stress and money elsewhere.
I ordered two harness leads from them i got no confirmation email no order number confirmation on when ringing up to hase my order was told it's out of stock no mention on tjere site so a week later sent email cancelled the out of stock part to receive an email monday ok called them again on Thursday to be told sent out Wednesday should receive in a few days receive an email Friday to confirm shipped called up to say you said Wednesday my parcel was dispatched to be told courier arrived early on Thursday hence sent Friday lying through there teeth comes to mind absolutely useless avoid at all costs 17/06/22

Ordered a JL AUDIO 13.5" driver I needed to make a matching pair to my owned one, found it difficult to locate another of the same models, but this company had them😁😁. Nice fast postage, and arrived safe, very happy
Very poor customer service by a man named Ray was very rude wouldn't let me talk to a manager after he was rude to me then got a friend to call back for me and he was just as rude to her wouldn't recommend using them they take payment before they check stock now I'm waiting on the pending cash to go bk into my account which could kd take up to 7 days...... Now 7 days on and I still don't have mu money bk

Terrible Customer Service experience.
We purchased a car stereo which was described as having Apple CarPlay on Audio Visual Worlds website. The unit does not have Apple CarPlay! As we have not followed the returns policy exactly, they will not accept the unit back or discuss how it can be exchanged for a unit that does have Apple CarPlay, despite offering to pay the difference.
This is the lowest rating I can give. They don’t deserve 1star!
Rip off company do not use!! Not a clue what they are selling.
Bought an update for an Audi A6 RMC sat nav.
Called them up as it would not update my firmware as it is RMC4. Company said I ordered the wrong one! There is only one on their website, then preceded to tell me he wasn’t technical but would contact a third party who sells the firmware from Glasgow. Told to return it, received another with exactly the same issue, was not backward compatible. Asked for a refund, and was told they don’t refund the firmware as it was tested prior to sending out. So allegedly my car is at fault. Spoke to the guy again that I will out of matter of principle Pursue this all the way to small claims. I think these people are thieves! Untalented and no idea what they are talking about. Keep we’ll clear do not purchase from here!!

Called for advice sales representative didn't know what they were talking about and only advice on the difference between two speaker packages was "A £250 unit will be better than a £50 unit".
Started asking questions on crossovers and line went dead, I called back and no answer. Seems they hung up when asked technical questions.

This place sales items and they have no idea, they don't even know the difference between an s type jaguar and an x type jag. They think the same facia trim fits both, and they dont listen about the location pins are different on each jaguar,
The facia trim they supply only fits the x type and not my s type.
After sales help is effing useless, and they do and say anything rather than correct the problem.
DON'T BUY FROM THESE, THEY KNOW ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT CARS AND RADIO INSTALLATIONS

Companies like this should just close and save innocent peoples time. I ordered something on the website that said it would do something complete withstanding my cars specification. It turns out I needed more things that will cost a lot more I should have just gone to other companies that were selling everything for a lot cheaper. Service is absolutely terrible also. The main person claims there’s 8+ people working but I only ever manage to get through to him the least helpful. I understand things go wrong but with this companies attitude towards customers I’m flabbergasted they are still operating.
They sent the wrong product and charged me £120 for the wrong product, when you calculate what they sent me it was only £59. Then they were so stupid they tried to make me spend £75 on a product that wouldn’t work. The product they sent is for facelift models. This companies a joke and honesty you better off going eBay. They do not have a clue about car audio, they probably know more about scamming

5. Wait months for the refund
5.5 Sorry, I forgot the part where we all wait for AVW to reply to this review, saying that it's not true and all the reviews are lies!
6. Never use them again..... ever

Pretty shoddy website, accepts money for products they don’t have in stock and they only update the price of products when you try and buy them. Had my order cancelled as they don’t stock the product they advertised. Apparently no funds have been processed but my bank is still £70 lighter.
Update: the simple thing to do would be pay someone to update your website to the correct prices and timescales and I’m sure you’d spend less time responding to reviews such as this.
