Products cause allergic reactions over time
I have first bought few products and found them very good. After a while my skin became sensitised by the products and I have developed terrible allergic reaction. It was the same products I have used in the past so no idea if they changed the formula or the products really sensitised skin over time. You cannot even use the same range together so I not talking about using some other product reacting this AB. My mum and sister had the same issue and I have seen some other reporting on social media… I tried to reach out to them on three occasions and got completely ignored by their customer service. Clearly they know about the issue but the policy is not to engage and acknowledge the problem. My reaction was so bad that I needed prescriptions with steroid and took 5 days to clear and then couple of weeks to heal the skin. Worst of all the company ignored my messages and still made me finish the replenishment circle buying super expensive products that I cannot use. Terrible service and terrible products.
Shocking customer service
I have bought many products from AB and the pumps are always a problem. The customer service is non existent. They do not reply to emails nor a contact number. It's frustrating and not worthy of the price tag/luxury brand image

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They will not let you return or refund if the product is open, even if you have allergic reaction. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. They just sent a bunch of emails asking about my reaction without ever planning on doing anything about it.
Long time customer treated very poorly by customer service
I have been using this brand for years and am always excited when they add a new product. I recently ordered their new sunscreen and had a horrible reaction to it. I reached out to customer service and they will not allow me to return it as it’s been opened. How can you know if a product works for you unless you open and use it? I am truly unhappy with their lack of care for long time membership clients. I have spent a ton of money with this company and this is the first time I have ever asked for a return and they won’t even do it? I will not be shopping with them anymore. Fortunately there are many other excellent skincare lines to choose from.
Absolutely horrendous customer service
Absolutely horrendous customer service. The hair conditioner formula separates and becomes unusable as well as developing a terrible chemical smell. Despite supplying all the requested information on numerous occasion as well as pictures of the problem no positive action taken. The company admitted in their first email that there was a definitive formulation issue with the product but I have sent over 10 emails now and no action taken.

Tried to use this £15.00 discount 6 times, I can't reset password. Customer service - no phone contact can only be emailed! They reply when it is convenient for them! DREADFUL considering how much their products are! Customer service can't even get y first name right (they think it is my surname!) I will bin this voucher code now which is very badly written in invitation anyway! This company should check their reviews and see how low the rating is. They don't even bother responding so can't think much of their reputation! It is a NO from me I'm afraid and awful way to treat customers!!!

Disappointed and sorry
I got The Cream as a present some time ago and was quite happy with the product.
I tried placing an order at their website now, but there was a problem with the payment. Customer service told us to try with a different card, because cvv was probably not correct. So we tried with different cards and totally the money was blocked 6 times and still the order was not accepted. I sent screenshots of the error messages and the card statements, but no response from AB till now.
Seems they are not interested in selling their products. They also don’t accept bank transfer. I am truly disappointed, especially for a brand with these prices.
TFC8 has been a game changer.
I adore the brand. My favourite product has been the Retinol Serum, my frown lines feel plumped. I have experienced excellent customer service and advice. I am turning 53 and feel lucky that the brand suits my skin type.

I had not one but two 0.5 fl oz bottles of The Rich Cream and neither of them would dispense the product! I've tried endlessly to send these back so they can find out what's wrong with them but they resolutely refuse to cooperate, even though I've given them the proof of purchase. I would never buy anything from this company again.
Customer Service Non-existent?
I have made a couple purchases in the past, I like their face and hand creams but really disliked their shampoo and conditioner.
My rating is due to what others have mentioned- horrendous customer service.
Two emails sent (original and follow up a week later) regarding a promo that pops up on their site that will not apply to my cart. Both emails to Augustinus Bader customer service indicated the emails were received by the company via an autoreply stating that I would get a response within 24 hours.
I have heard absolutely nothing in the last month since sending these emails which included a screenshot of the promotion that appears on my screen that my purchases qualified for and the failure of this promotion to apply to my cart during checkout.
I have checked my spam and junk folder and there is absolutely no reply to either email requesting help from customer service. They promise a 24-hour response and fail to reply to multiple emails requesting help over the last month.
I am giving the company the benefit of doubt in believing that customer service is the issue rather than this being a deceptive marketing strategy to bait people into purchasing with a nice promo that doesn’t exist so they have no legitimate reply to offer.
Anyway, I am done with this company and I am going back to AnteAge which works well for me and is less costly so I guess I should count this as a win-win on my part. Instead of the $500 purchase, you lost another customer Augustinus Bader for failing to extend even a basic reply on two emails requesting help.
Not worth the investment
Products are extremely expensive and need replacing around every 10 weeks; and that’s with me using sparingly. It’s too much of an investment that makes little if any difference to products that are more competitively priced. The packaging is far too extravagant and quite often subscription products, although auto replenished at the same time would be despatched separately at around £5 per shipment.
I used the products for around 10 months and in that time had fulfilled my subscription requirements. It’s expensive, you’ll be investing £0000’s if you try to keep to the routine they suggest!
Adore this product.
I have been using the rich cream day and night and the face oil, night only, for 6 months. I have never spend this kind of money on skincare before. The results are transformative. Sun spots have faded, my skin looks fresh and healthy and I wear far less makeup. It’s the first time I’ve felt confident about my skin in the last 20 years!

Great products, however the worst customer service I’ve experienced for a high value brand.
Consistent mistakes on the Club website - with orders regularly reactivated by mistake after being paused -the website has major flaws but no accountability is taken by the company. Debit card details stored and used.

I ordered the Hair Revitalizing Complex.
As I could do with a 20% discount, my husband ordered a pack as a gift.
Unfortunately, I only realised after ordering that this dietary supplement is not gluten-free.
Cancellation is not possible, so I have to accept the package and send it back.
You have to pay the return costs yourself, which was fine with me. But I was annoyed that I had to send the product back to the Netherlands and pay €14.49 per parcel.
(Hermes was not much cheaper than DHL)
I had to pay a total of €28.98.
When I order from Augustinus Bader for Germany, I expect a return shipment within Germany and not abroad.
As a matter of principle, I will no longer order from Augustinus Bader.

Like many ludicrously expensive cosmetics, it's all about the packaging. Having invested over £300 in what I thought was going to be the start of my new skincare regime, the product is really no different from other less expensive cosmetics and the mark up must be well over a 1000%. I shall not continue to purchase anymore products, plus, there are really no visible positive results.
BEWARE
I am finding it very hard to put one star for this company.
I placed an order for the shampoo on a subscription. I used the product once and had a severe reaction to the product.
I immediately cancelled the subscription only to be told by Customer Services that I cannot cancel unless I had three deliveries, but as a gesture of goodwill they would on this occasion cancel my subscription, they really didnt care that I had suffered by using their product. On Christmas Day they took the money from my bank without my permission to cover the subscription that I had previously cancelled. a few weeks later sent the cancelled product to me, I thus returned it by special delivery to be signed for at their return address for my refund that they should not of taken in the first place. After several weeks I did not receive a refund, so I contacted customer services to be told they had never received the product so would not refund me, after several emails they came back with an offer of points on my piority, so iI could order again Why on earth would I want to order when I had a reaction in the first place. To this date I have not received my money back, when they should not of taken without my permission. The product are not a good as they say my hair was greasy after using it as well as the reaction. Please stay away from this company

I uses the Agustinusbader leave in treatment for a month. Absolutely useless. No change, if anything, my hair was worse.
