Travel planning made easy and painless
Usually I book flights and accommodation online but the forthcoming trip to Australia included stopovers which are more complicated booking direct and expensive.
I used Austravel about 30 years ago before online was so prevalent and when I was looking for help with my holiday itinerary I remembered that they were very efficient and helpful all those years ago.
Thankfully this is still the case today - Paul has been brilliant, advising the most cost efficient way of seeing some of Australia within a limited timescale. He has been very patient with us, explaining everything in detail. I had forgotten the days of the good old-fashioned travel agent - well they’re still here but with a bucketful of experience and professionalism. Well done Austravel!

Poor administration
Took over 2 weeks to get a brochure.
Immediately started to finalise tour. Changed details as some hotels not available. Paid deposit , a month later no invoice for holiday or acknowledgment of deposit paid. Did get email saying balance was overdue and then one saying to ignore it. A month from booking still no invoice so needed to chase up.
Administration is totally substandard. Booked last year and everything was fine so can’t understand how things can get so badly wrong so quickly.
