If you could rate this company 0/5 I would have! They might look appealing when comparing prices but thats only a shiny facade.
At arrival in Tirana, no one showed up. After an hour past pre determined meet up time, we were told to walk to the nearest gas station where a random guy (friend of owner) waited for us with a complete different car than what we ordered. Only cash payment of course... no recipes either, but you don't have much of a choice at that point as a tourist. Unfortunately the car overheated, and had a transmission failure but Auto Connect did nothing to help us out.
Never again. Would recommend a larger more serious rental company.
Respuesta de Rent a Car in Albania - Auto Connect Rental
Hello Mr. Hjerne,
We are sorry to hear about your experience, but this review does not accurately reflect our business.
Because the car you booked with us had an unexpected issue before your arrival, we explicitly informed you of the situation and connected you with a COMPLETELY SEPARATE THIRD PARTY DEALER so you wouldn't be left stranded. The car you received, the transaction you made, and the lack of roadside assistance were all tied to that independent company, NOT Auto Connect.
Auto Connect DOES NOT OWN the vehicle you drove, and our entire fleet consists strictly of well-maintained 2017 models or newer (which can be verified on our official website www.autoconnect.rent).
Sincerely,
The Auto Connect Team
