Absolutely shocking experience

**Update**

As requested, I decided to give the AI an opportunity to put this right so I emailed them on 19th February. Unsurprisingly, after nine days, I have had no response from them.

Original review:
I have been buying from this company regularly for about five years but will never order from them again. I placed a bulk order for turmeric which would last a year, as I always do. When it arrived, there was less than 5 months left until the expiry date; in fact the expiry date was exactly the same as the order I had received twelve months previously. I emailed the company three times but did not receive a response so I raised a case with PayPal, which was also ignored. I then raised a dispute with PayPal for a partial refund as I will be able to use some of the product before it expires. Autoimmune Institute ignored this as well so PayPal issued me with the partial refund that I requested. To send out short date product is poor but to then ignore emails is beyond appalling. Customer service is nonexistent so buyer beware! A really shoddy and shocking experience.

We’re genuinely very sorry to read this. We completely understand how disappointing that must have felt, especially as a customer who has supported us for around five years.

Sending short-dated stock with a bulk order is not the standard we aim for. For larger orders(more than 1 bottle), we normally ensure the longest expiry dates available are selected. If that didn’t happen here, that’s on us and we sincerely apologise.

We’re also very concerned to hear that you felt your emails were ignored. We do respond to emails, usually within a few hours on working days, so this is highly unusual and certainly not the level of service we stand for.

with your order number and the email address used. We’ll be very happy to send replacement bottles with longer expiry dates and get this properly sorted for you.

Be sceptical about their transparency

Be sceptical about their transparency. They say it is a family run business by Greg Williams and wife Donna. However this is not the story on Companies House. It is owned by a Mr Lim, a Singaporean living in Singapore and Greg and Donna are not listed as having any control. They are not transparent. Companies House tied to strike them off.
Trustpilot says the company is American, yet Greg and Donna live in Essex.

The company was originally created and developed by Greg and Donna, who built the foundations of the brand. Ownership later transferred to Mr Lim, who is committed to continuing their vision and investing in further improvements for our customers. We are now operating under the new management of AI Therapeutics (UK) Limited.

Although the ownership has changed, our manufacturing partners and suppliers remain exactly the same. All of our supplements continue to be produced in the UK to the high quality standards we have always upheld. We are also in the process of rebranding and updating our image, products and logo, with these changes expected to be introduced in early 2026.

We value openness and your feedback gives us the chance to provide clarity. If you have any further questions or need any additional information, we are always happy to help.

My physiotherapist recently recommended…

My physiotherapist recently recommended all of your products to me in particular, Advance Magnesium which I am now taking.It has only been a few days but I have already noticed a difference in my sleep and I feel more rested in the mornings. As a result I have ordered a further 3 bottles. I have always found trying to work out which Magnesium is the best to take very confusing but, with your full spectrum Magnesium tablets it is so much easier and takes away the worry knowing that I'm getting just what I actually need from them. I do however need to say that the capsules are a little to large for me to swallow so,I send a message to the company asking if it was possible to open the capsules and disperse in water,to which they replied, yes..Their reply was instant and very informative Excellent service from this company. Once I have used up my other vitamins that I already have,I will be trying some of the other products from Autoimmune Institute.Thank you

Tumeric from The Autoimmune Institute

I have been using Tumeric from the Autoimmune Institute for sometime now. It has taken all the pain away from the joints in my fingers. Amazing! Best way to order is by buying a bundle. Great service too. Very impressed.

CHECK BBE DATES ON BULK ORDERS!!!!!

I have used this company for many years & found their products to be really good HOWEVER I've had issues with my last two orders for Turmeric. I bought the Turmeric in bulk which Autoimmune Institute offer to save money and also you get free delivery on orders over £55.
I was was dismayed to find the BBE date expired before I could use all the bottles of Turmeric so I contacted A.I's customer services who apologised profusely and sent a returns label. A few days later I received a refund on my returned product. I then reordered six bottles of Turmeric at the end of MAY. Each bottle lasts a month so a six month supply takes me through to NOVEMBER taking four capsules a day.
My order arrived a few days later. I checked the BBE date on all six bottles to find they expired in AUGUST!!!!! I have returned them again and I am still waiting for my refund.
I will not be ordering again - I can accept one mistake but the same mistake immediately afterwards.......

Dreadful company to deal with

Dreadful company to deal with. Stay away!! I’ve ordered many items from them and when I noticed the multi vitamins I’d purchased had turned black with mould I contacted them. They asked for batch numbers and seemed totally unconcerned. These capsules were no doubt harmful but they didn’t care. They were still in date and they refused to do anything about it. Avoid!

I purchased sone very expensive…

I purchased sone very expensive products from this company. They all smelt and tasted foul. When I contacted them, they asked for batch numbers etc . I was not offered a refund . They just ignored my emails. Disgusting smelling foul tasting over priced products which I now can’t use. They asked me to send them back but I can’t afford that and I feel they were not helpful at all. Not a good company to deal with stay clear. Wish I had checked them out first.

After purchasing their Advanced…

After purchasing their Advanced Turmeric, I checked to see if any information on their website stated any reason NOT to take Turmerics, but nothing I could find. I’m on Rivaroxaban which is a blood thinner and have been advised by my doctor to take Turmeric with blood thinners can be dangerous as Turmeric also acts as a blood thinning agent and could cause a patient to have a bleed! And told not to continue to take them.. This I pointed out to Autoimmuneinstitute. Their reply was to send me a 10% discount on my next purchase! 😲
Please be aware of this company, it obviously is just into profit and without any concern to their customers well being.

I have tried numerous multivitamins…

I have tried numerous multivitamins from online companies including Feel,Dr Vegan and Performance Lab but have returned to "Advanced Multi" by Autoimmune Institute as it is by far the best...it contains No Iron or Copper as most multis contain too much of these metals which can be dangerous in excess,and as I'm also over 70 years old we're not advised to take supplements containing iron or copper. I recommend "Advanced Multi" to anyone who is post menopausal Or who would rather take a Multi without iron or copper as these two metals can cause all sorts of health issues,as we get enough copper and iron in our food,and if you've got copper pipes in your home And take a multivitamin containing copper you could be getting way too much copper. I highly recommend Autoimmune Institute's " Advanced Multi".

Excellent products

Excellent products, as a nutritionist I don't trust many companies for supplements. They use the actually bioavailable forms of nutrients and make sure their fish oil is tested for heavy metals and toxins and freshness for example. Not true that they only offer courier with ACP, mine just comes in the normal post, never had a problem with deliveries. The subscriptions make it cheaper too. It is expensive but worth it as without health we are nothing!

Very pleased happy costumer

Twice I've ordered now and both orders have come within 5 days. Very happy with how the tummeric took the pain out off my knees in The space of 2 weeks. Have tried other brands of tummeric and not had the results I got from advanced turmeric.

Good products let down by poor delivery and no contact numbers.

I have been using the Autoimmune Institute's products for many months now. They are top quality products. However, when you order directly from them (which is how you get a discount) the delivery is made through APC who never deliver on time. APC say they have delivered when you were out repeatedly so you end up waiting in for days on end and have to complain repeatedly to get anywhere. The frustration of dealing with this courier gives more stress than the products can help with! It is difficult to understand why a company that has such persuasive and excellent marketing cannot offer an alternative delivery service. Finally, it is very convenient for The Autoimmune Institute to not give a phone number. You have to e mail and the response is slow, erratic and dissatisfying to the extent that I have concluded they would rather not have me as a customer!
