I took my car here first time visit to have tyres fitted via Blackcircles, appointments were cancelled three times by bith Blackcircles and Autoremedy, finally got the 4 tyres fitted only to have all four tyres deflate a week later,This did not happen with the older tures, took the car back and was asked if I have a tyre deflation warning showing I said yes and was advised there was TPMS on the tyres, and these were not part of the paid for service but were an extra expense that they were not liable for. Rang Blackcircles who advised they were sorry but this would be an extra expense, not being a mechanic or anything near, i trusted both garage and Blackcircles which was a big mistake, found out months later from the main dealer that my tyres just have standard valves in them and its just the abs system that picks up the difference in the wheels motion , quicker for the one deflating, the garage said they checked all 4 wheels and couldn’t find a problem, it took 10 mins to check all 4 tyres , what a speedy service or an impossibility given logic, they did not even check what my car had or had not and seemed to be ignorant of the fact that cars even though they have deflation warning system not everyone has TPMS sensors on the valves , the admitted over inflating the tyres so “ they didn't deflate every 10 days” , now I ask you is this professional proactive behaviour from experienced and supposedly knowledgeable mechanics in Autoremedy, I cannot with good conscience recommend this garage to anyone. The response below says it all really, refusal to take responsibility for poor knowledge and workmanship exactly what i was talking about

Excellent - Had a Fuel Leak from a Pipe going into the Fuel Tank, Drove around 6 Local Garages who all said we can maybe fit you in, in a week or so, some even longer.

Autoremedy took my car in and was fixed in a few hours, couldnt fault the service or the guys at the unit.

Great group of mechanics. Very friendly. I had my wet belt changed. They were quick to get me booked in, gave me photos of every step of the process and even fixed a couple of little niggles for free. Highly recommend.

This company is deplorable, incompetent and I urge people to stay away from them. I personally think I should have put my cash in the back garden and burned it all and this would have still been a more effective solution.
I took my car in initially for a DPF clean, Tyre rotation and oil change in December 25. I ended up spending £400 and I was told that the DPF regeneration failed, DPF would need to come off, and it will cost me “around” £900 (They will never give you a straight answer pr price). I was weary so I took my car to a separate, trusted cleaner who were able to clean the DPF effectively without the need for removal, for a fraction of the price.
Following this, there were further codes and works needed. I foolishly decided to take it back to them with abundantly clear instructions and a hope that they would locate ALL faults, stating, “please don’t call until ALL the works are complete and car is drivable”. So of course they took the piss. I was called 3 times in the space of a week to be told my car was ready each time, of which I spent money on uber journeys to retrieve my car.
Every time I showed up, the problem persisted. They would then tell me that they were 50% sure of this and 50% sure of that being the problem, they would tell me they took it on a drive, and it drove perfectly. But when I arrived it suddenly reverted to being in an unusable state. These percentages changed each day and my faith in them dropped by the hour. I spent £50 going back and forth in taxis, during work hours, because every time I went off the lot my car had the same issue come up again, and every time I turned back around to have a go at them this week of bull ended up costing me £500 in total. So, no wit was a good £900 spent.
They offered to locate the fault for free after I nearly came to blows with their mechanic, whom is a professional gas lighter. The car ran for a week before it started throwing up dash lights and putting itself into limp mode fast forward a month and £1200 and 3 months wasted in total, I decided to take the car to a more trusted garage after hearing my partner had the same issue and my neighbours experience with them being an exact mirror image of my situation. I now have a repair bill for £600 to fix the fault that Auto Remedy could never.
And talk about courtesy. They left my whole front passenger and driver side covered in mud and mud paint work ended up chipping with the amount of mud on it they did not bother to do their due diligence to ensure a clean and effective service.
I ended up having to put them in their place and told them I was not standing for this level of incompetence, and they got short with me. They eventually realised I would not be allowing this level of incompetence to go unchallenged; I will now be filing court documents to recoup my wasted money. I am the 3rd person in my circle to have had an issue with their services. So, save yourselves some money and go to a more trusted mechanic that knows what they are doing and don’t go to these guys just because they happen to be situated close.

Just to add they will fabricate a load of nonsense and spend an afternoon writing a reply whilst your car is in the garage unattended to. Stay far away

The whole team couldn’t have been more helpful professional and friendly when I had my MOT, these will 100% be my mechanics going forward.

My VW Caravelle, which had its engine rebuilt 16k miles ago by another garage, started to throw out a lot of fumes followed by a whooshing sound under the bonnet. This was in addition to a new problem with a traction control warning light. I checked in AutoRemedy for a diagnosis in November and they identified a hole in the intercooler, which was causing the engine to run too rich, hence the fumes. The traction control issue required a new brake sensor. The team thought it might take 2 days but it was resolved correctly within 1 day and back on the road. The issues were not easy to diagnose. As ever, the prompt service, expert knowledge and willingness to help are trademarks of the AutoRemedy team. I noticed a couple of negative reviews recently but I can strongly recommend AutoRemedy from my experience. My son recently had his Corsa serviced and MOT’d with AutoRemdy for the first time in November and was very pleased with the service and pricing.

The team at Autoremedy did a great job diagnosing and replacing the clutch on our van.

I’ve used Autoremedy several times over the past couple of years. I’ve always found the team honest, and well priced. Some examples of the work done by the team: water pump replacement and head gasket replacement on Audi a3. Glow plugs on Touran.

Both Jason and James provided an excellent service at a great cost.
Communication was excellent as always.

After having a problem with seized brakes and having to call out RAC my car was taken to Autoremedy as this was the nearest RAC approved garage. I was desperate for my car to be fixed ASAP as I needed it to transport my wife for daily radiotherapy treatment. I spoke to James one of the partners and he was very understanding. He had his fitters on the job straight away to diagnose the problems and to order needed parts. I had my car back on the road withing 48 hrs.I was charged the going rate for parts and labour and was more than happy with the service. I would like to thank James and his staff for the speedy service and total understanding.

Autoremedy fitted a clutch in my car a few years ago.
For some reason they messed up my gas exhaust sensor on my car.
Cost me £180 to put it right. I emailed the company numerous times to see if they would reimburse me the money but no response so in the end I just cut my losses and put it down as a lesson learned
I suggest if anyone has any work done by them keep yourself close to them and follow them round like glue.

Not impressed at all. Originally stumbled across them when I needed my turbo replacing on my vehicle and offered a good price at the time. Service was ok, should have walked away then.. Fast forward a few months later, took it back for a major service and to have a leak investigated inside my vehicle as well as have my aircon fixed. Was quoted just shy of £900, air con never fixed just regassed when I TOLD them there was a leak, and car still leaks rain water into the driver back wheel well area. Not affiliated to any major organisation to raise an official complaint. Stay away if you can! A lot of money down the drain!

Like the other reviewers, I found AutoRemedy by accident from a search of tyre fitters with Blackcircles. And they proved to be a hidden gem. The service is outstanding, the pricing very fair and transparent and the team is knowledgeable, experienced and with top equipment. James and the team gave great advice on my tyres and were meticulous in fitting and balancing them on my Caravelle. They also sorted an air conditioning problem on my Smart and were so flexible, honest and reassuring. The AutoRemedy team provides friendly, knowledgeable, old fashioned service at great prices and will be my go to local garage. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

As somebody previous said its a bit hidden away. Extra journey for me but I would still go there - really good service and I have never been let down by them - did a diagnostic free of charge and removed some scratch marks. Thanks guys.

These guys where fantastic, courteous and caring. It was a cold day, and they made sure there was somewhere warm for me to wait, whilst i got my tyre changed and the guys replaced my front bulb for free.

I came across Autoremedy by chance needing a repair to a defective brake light. The service I received was prompt, efficient, courteous and reasonably priced. I gladly recommend Autoremedy.
