Loved the desk lamp. I can now work even if its late without hurting my eyes.

It's a con. I bought a 'Diatomite Stone Mat' for the bathroom; it came rolled up in a plastic bag. A flimsy normal bathmat which cost £27. Customer service then disappeared on me.

A total scam - avoid.

I have ordered 3 things over the years from then in the lower to mid price range and was very happy with the quality and they are all in good condition

I would not recommend Avelia Living. I received a bathrobe that was defective—it didn’t even have the loops sewn on to hold the waist tie. Instead of making it right, customer service has given me the runaround for days. I’ve sent multiple emails and have been repeatedly asked to send more pictures before they’ll even consider a refund.

What’s even more frustrating is that their own refund policy clearly states that if an item is damaged or faulty, they will provide a prepaid return label and offer a replacement or full refund after review. Yet they’re refusing to send me a prepaid label and are expecting me to pay the return shipping myself if I don’t keep jumping through hoops.

A defective product is not the customer’s fault, and customers shouldn’t have to fight this hard to receive the refund they’re entitled to under the company’s own policy. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

About three weeks ago I bought this memory foam mat for my kitchen. It makes standing at the sink more comfortable and the surface wipes down easily after use.

I ordered an item from Avelia Living, but the item I received was not what I ordered (wrong item, did not match similar items on their website and was of poor quality). The item arrived from China and took almost three weeks to arrive as well. I contacted the company and requested a refund under their incorrect-item policy. Despite providing the relevant information, I have had difficulty obtaining a refund or satisfactory resolution. Based on my experience, I would not order from this company again and I am not certain whether they will eventually honour their refund policy.

Loved the modern touch of the lamp it really gives a warm feeling to your room

My order took weeks, I began to think it wouldn't actually arrive. I almost laughed when it finally did come, nothing remotely like the advertised product. I had ordered a beautiful looking bath mat, looked thick and heavy. What arrived was rolled up to the size of a roll of cling film, probably took someone ten minutes to cut and edge on a sewing machine, not fit for purpose and I wouldn't have paid £1 for it in a pound shop. Avoid this company at all costs!

I would steer clear of AVELIA!!!

I paid £102 for four storage boxes, expecting to receive the premium-quality product depicted on their website. Unfortunately, what arrived looked nothing like the advertised images. The photographs portray substantial, well-made storage boxes with thick faux leather detailing and quality finishes, whereas the actual product was made from thin, flimsy synthetic materials and felt very cheaply manufactured.

What was particularly concerning was that the product listing contained differing images of the storage boxes, and upon looking back at them more carefully, they appear to have been heavily AI-enhanced or AI-generated. Whether AI-generated or not, the images did not accurately represent the product I ultimately received. In my experience, they created the impression of a far more premium item than the one that was delivered.

The disparity between the online images and the product I received was so significant that I felt the listing was misleading. The boxes I received simply did not reflect the quality, construction or appearance I believed I was purchasing.
After a lengthy exchange with customer service, AVELIA eventually offered me a 40% refund. I accepted only because the alternative was to pay the cost of returning the items to China at my own expense, which would have made little financial sense. I would have much preferred to return the products for a full refund.

In my opinion, these boxes are vastly overpriced for what they are. Based on the materials and construction, I would estimate that the four boxes cost only a fraction of the price I paid to manufacture. They certainly do not justify a £102 price tag.

To make matters worse, I am now left with four storage boxes in my walk-in wardrobe that look cheap and detract from the overall aesthetic of the space. They are not items I would ever have purchased had they been represented honestly.
My advice is to be extremely cautious and not rely solely on the website photographs when making a purchase. In my experience, the advertised images did not accurately represent the product I received, and although AVELIA ultimately offered a 40% refund, it does not change the fact that I was left with products that were nothing like those advertised.

The table lamp gives off a soft, warm glow. It's pleasant for evening reading.

I've been using this lamp in my living room for about a month now. The light it casts is pleasant and the design is timeless. It doesn't look out of place among my other furniture. The build quality seems durable, and I expect it to last for quite a while. A good find.
