Definitely a scam website. Don't go anywhere near them. Half the items will never turn up and the other half look nothing like the advertised pictures. Avoid!

I’ve just received my order, not one of the items are the material, the size, the quality and bear any resemblance to the the images on the site, I’ve got 2 of the cheapest nylon dresses you’ve ever seen both different sizes and both the wrong size and 2 plastic cat heads, it’s all absolute rubbish. If I could give minus stars I would for this absolute garbage. I was also deceived into thinking that this was a shop in Manchester, it’s not,
its Chines rubbish.

To add to my previous review on this companies review policy where they quoted “Unfortunately, we currently do not offer free shipping labels or returns. Therefore, the cost of returning the product is the responsibility of the customer.

Please note that our warehouse is located in China”

on their website site it states “If you are not satisfied with the items you have ordered, you have the option to return them within 30 days of receipt.

If you are not satisfied with the product you received, you can request a return form from customer service.”

This company are terrible scammers! Like the other reviews, this company sells utter trash! The cat is a piece of plastic with stick-on eyes and the shoes and sandals are too big and very poor quality. I have another order yet to come, and I dread to see what they look like too. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Firstly. lgnore the star. That would be to over generous. lt would be more like -10, these system are not created to give minuses...

Ordered a pair of size 6 trainers. These trainers were small, it was a struggle to put them on.

After contacting Avery & Rose the fun begins (not the ha, ha, ha, kind!!), emails backwards and forwards. Before supplying you with a returns address, they want to know the reason for the return, so you can return at your own cost / no prepaid return's label to the right department your order.

After several emails, it appears, perhaps this may be how Avery & Rose just might make their profits... Not only do you have to return your item to China at cost. Avery & Rose unfortunately, currently do not offer free shipping labels or returns. Therefore, the cost of returning the product is the responsibility of the customer, and if l wish to receive a full refund, l should send the product to this address in China.

However, please be aware that returning the package is at MY own cost and risk. International returns can sometimes face delays, and there is a possibility that the package may get lost in transit, which Avery & Rose cannot take responsibility for.

However, as Avery & Rose want to ensure that l am satisfied with my purchase, they would like to offer me a one-time courtesy:

That l can keep the product and Avery & Rose will refund you 15% of the item value = £5.39 WOW!!!

[This way, Avery & Rose say that l can use the product (that's doesn't fit and is not fit for purpose) as a discounted gift.] Trainers cost £35.96, Avery & Rose say l've also save £3.99!!! But they'll give me £5.39 (15%) refund. That sounds a bit like cheers easy.

Unsure where l'm going with this issue... What l would like to do is make you aware of something that looks a big. M.A.S.S.I.V.E. Scam, as Avery & Rose are responsible for these goods, but they are shying aware from any responsibility. Thank you for reading my experience, may be you've faired better than me. For those considering purchasing from Avery & Rose ask yourself why the prices are reasonable, it an age before your order arrives and do you really want to be messed around sending emails every moment to requesting a full refund for an order NOT fit for purpose? Oh almost overlooked, but Avery & Rose may offer you a 15% refund - or not. Oh my....

Update 30.09.25: l've decided to cut my loses here. Avery & Rose have now extended their offer to a 25% goodwill refund, with no need to return the product. I did negotiate 80% for this not fit for purpose item.

Avery & Rose continue with alternatively, if l prefer not to keep the item, l am still welcome to return it for a full refund upon inspection.... Wonder what that actually means, that their products / trainers in this case are really not fit for purpose as Avery & Rose will suddenly find a fault... YEAH-RIGHT!!! The package they arrived in, they're stick packed in.

BUYER BEWARE should be in GAINTIC FONTS on their website. I wondered if Trading Standards are aware of how Avery & Rose appear to use loopholes in their trading contract to override customer rights.

Another scam company. Claim they’re from Manchester with their lovely looking stylish website yet they’re in China! The shoes I received were awful, not even in a box and the quality was appalling. Once received looked the company up on trust pilot and saw all the negative reviews. As others have said they’ve offered me 15 per cent refund so I don’t have to send them back or send them back to China. No where on their website do they state they’re in China. Don’t even consider ordering anything from them.

Saw this company on Facebook but went online to check them out, all looked legit, so ordered a cardigan. Although the company claimed they were from Manchester, the tracking revealed the order was being shipped from china. It took about three weeks to arrive, and was of such poor quality I felt I had been well and truly conned!

Ordered what looked like a heavy, glass eyed cat head sculpture. When it arrived it was light, plastic, with gold stickers for eyes! If it wasn't for our son's birthday it would have been immediately returned, as he was ok with it. Disappointing!

Absolute rubbish fake goods nothing like photos totally disgusted they need banning

Ordered the mystical cat head. It looked stunning in the pictures with its glassy eyes and marble detail. Described as “striking” and with “intricate detail” and “finely sculpted features draw you in with an air of intrigue and elegance”. When I opened the package, I was met with a rather dull cat’s head with painted eyes and a few brush strokes of paint in an attempt to make it look marble like. Completely different to what is advertised. Absolute scam.

As with other reviewers, 1 star is too generous. I ordered what looked like a beautiful cat head ornament but what arrived 2 weeks later was a lacklustre piece of plastic rubbish that had no resemblance to the advertised image! Returns are a joke, was worth more to me to use some choice words in my email response!! Bunch of fraudsters!

Because I had never used you before I just worried when I didn’t hear much from you then my daughters moaned st me fir buying from FB, but I was pleased when my order came

Sadly - have had the same poor experience as all previous reviews- lesson learnt to check reviews before buying. I saw advertisement of products on instagram but received very poor quality products made with cheap materials.
Been communicating with them for
weeks for return and refund - but have been provided with an address in China with shipping costs to be self funded. This is a really disappointing experience

The quality of goods I received was below substandard! If this item was any lighter it would float away. The image on their website depicts a cats head resembling marble/marble like material with glowing glass like eyes - it is plastic with stick on eyes! I cannot upload a photo on here for proof - but avoid these scammers at all cost please!!

This is cheap junk sent over from China that looks nothing like what is described. Return policy is worthless as they state that goods being returned to China quite often go missing in the post and they won’t accept liability.

Terrible experience, their products are poor quality and wear very small, I couldn't even zip in size L. Be careful about their return policy - In reality they have none, if you wish to return your item you need to write them an email and they provide you with a chinese address to return your items to but they dont guarantee a refund..

I was expecting a hand knitted brightly coloured cardigan as advertised and in the picture. What I got was a machine cardigan with the pattern printed on it. Not happy 😠

Please DO NOT buy from this company, it is linked to a sister company called Mabel and Daisy, which I have purchased from. When this cardigan arrived, it was nothing like the product that they advertised. Now that there have been that many bad views, they are trading the same poor quality items under another company name. They should be closed down; they are a con, trading out of Asia.
They offer free returns, but then come back to you saying you will have to pay £20-£30 to return the item, but then have the cheek to offer a discount on a future product. The item, when received, was a cheap, quality nylon cardigan, nothing like the photo
They say they are a UK company, which clearly they are not. DO NOT waste your money buying from either of these companies.

Would give no stars if I could. Avoid this site at ALL COSTS! Items took ages, look nothing like photos and can’t even wear for fancy dress. No chance of getting any refund. Corrupt on every level!

Like many people on here if I could I would rate this business a zero. The clothing received was of terrible quality & when I asked them for a returns address for a refund it is China. It doesn’t say that on their returns policy. Nowhere on their website are you told you are ordering from China I thought they were based in Manchester!!
I asked them a number of questions and I have included their response to help others.

The UK address that may have appeared on your shipping label (Southall, UB2 5LF) is part of a logistics network used solely for dispatch purposes. It is not a returns facility and does not process or handle customer returns. This is why we kindly ask that any return be sent directly to our warehouse in China, where our team can properly receive, verify, and process the item for a refund.”

The return costs are extortionate. Please be aware before you order
