The company has folded, and they've scrubbed all mentions of LINE support from their official site. The only active page left is for Taiwan; it feels like they’re just milking the Taiwanese user base for everything they can get.

It was a ChatGPT recommendation. Unfortunately it was a bad one because the software doesn't work with Android 16 at the moment.

Customer support replied super quick & also returned the money super quick.

But ideally I wouldn't spend time on testing it because it's clear that it's not compatible. So 4 of 5 stars.

What an ENORMOUS scam. Never works on newer phones, or on the latest editions of apps, requests very suspicious permits on your phone, installs hidden software. STAY AWAY.

I wiash I had read these reviews before renewing my subscription. It worked fine with backing up text messages, my call history and voice mail messages before. Within the last year my subscription was renewed and when I open the app now I am prompted to enter a password and when I do it does not accept mine and there is no way to recover it through the app. My emails to customer service go unanswered

Total scam company. Backed up iphone fine, and followed instructions for android (Samsung Fold 7), and when it came time to restore was receiving errors.

Wrote email to support, with screenshot of error code, and received a one line response, that the software does not work with Z Fold 7, which is bull crap, because it is Android. Wrote to them to get my money back, and no.response yet...

Total scam! The app is not working at all. No support at all. No refund despite what they claim. Don't buy under any sircumstances!

En fait ça consiste à cloner whatsapp sur une application qui enverra les donné sur le logiciel "Backuptrans whatsapp", mais en fait il "vol" votre code de verification et vous n'avez plus accès à votre whatsapp original !!!
Le logiciel coûte 20.- et j'ai perdu 2 heures sans résultat.
C'est ultra complexe, il faut installer plusieurs autre applications et ça marche pas du tout, pour moi c'est de la piraterie cette chiasse !!!
Vraiment, y a beaucoup d'opérations et d'applications à installer !
Sans compter qu'il faut passer en mode développeur sur votre téléphone pour ensuite faire un débogage USB, de plus faut encore instaler sur votre pc des drivers de la marque du téléphone, etc.......
Fuyez Backuptrans whatsapp !!!
Vraiment laissez tomber !!! ggrrrr :-(

I'm sure it works well, but the UI is unintuitive, and the guides (there are thousands of them) talk to you like you're already an experinced IT professional with knowledge of Android, whatsapp, adb etc. No webchat support

Great service and product (Data Transfer from Android to IOS) works as intended. At first, I encountered issue because desktop could not read the iPhone plugged in. I was unsure how to move forward but after emailing the email support (shown on the software message pop-up box), I was able to receive a response in just a few hours and received a link for troubleshooting steps from the support group. After following their guide, the error was resolved and I was able to proceed smoothly with the data transfer in a short period of time. Thank you so much 🤍

Beim Aufspielen der Nachrichten auf das iPhone ist das Programm zwei Mal abgestürzt. Beim dritten Versuch hat es dann aber zum Glück funktioniert.
Wie auch einige andere hier schon gesagt haben: Den Aufforderungen des Programms folgen und ruhig bleiben. Dann klappt das schon!
Bin auf jeden Fall sehr happy, dass ich meine Nachrichten behalten konnte

DO NOT BUY THIS SOFTWARE!!! This is such a scam of a software...you'll pay almost 30 usd upfront and won't have any guarantee that the service will work and from what you can read in many reviews it doesn't work for many people. It's overly complicated and I've tried following the instructions a hundred times but then just gave up because it would just back up some bits of historic data but far from everything so literally almost all my Viber data eventually got lost. The company selling this crappy licence is also not responsive so don't expect to get your money back when your transfer doesn't work. Such a scam. True that Viber itself is a useless app with this shady policy of not allowing for a normal data transfer when switching phones and platforms (unlike Whatsapp for example which makes it easy peasy via Smart Switch), but it's really unfair for someone to charge so much for a licence that doesn't do anything and then isn't even willing to offer a refund for it. I call this s scam and if I lost my money I hope I can at least save someone else from making the same mistake.

Followed the app instructions but it would suddenly stop while transferring whatsapp to iPhone. Wrote to the support team but their 2 liner email templates dod not help. Ended up losing all whatsapp data. Still waiting for a respose from their support email.

Solved my problem! (it took awhile to sort it out) and the feedback and conversation was timely and courteous.

I bought the viber ios to android and not only did I get the software but the support that I needed to make it work! If you're still thinking of buying or not, I advise to pull the trigger, very well worth it! This is how it should be done!!! Thank you Backuptrans!!!

Extremely confusing pricing, numerous of different softwares, you can very easily get confused and get the wrong one. I accidently bought the wrong software and was covered by their refund policy, but the customer support is nonexistent and they don't even bother answering emails. Also on their website, you will wrongfuly state that they are marked "Safe" by Norton and McAfee, but its just that their website doesn't have something wrong, and NOT their software, which is as big a red flag as it gets. Avoid at all cost, you don't know who you are giving your personal info to!

Great service - got a refund after accidentally purchasing the wrong version. Product worked very well - I quickly transferred the Whatsapp data successfully from android to iPhone.
