I'm pretty surprised by the negative reviews on here. I've had nothing but fantastic service from them, if there any issues due to a supply chain they're fast to update your order to let you know or if they need to specifically order a record in, they have a brilliant contact method by using WhatsApp to check if they have the records in that haven't been updated on over year!

A brilliant record store!

I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and try to order from them again. Big mistake, I had sent them multiple emails asking why my record wasn't being delivered when suddenly they cancelled my order without asking me. It was as though they couldn't be bothered tracking it down from the record company. Their email customer services are useless,one person in particular

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Banquet Records, whether purchasing in-shop or at the in-store or larger events. I am talking about hundreds of transactions. Communication is always clear, delivery smooth and entry to events is very straight forward. The team have often found seats for my kids on the few occasions we have brought them to events. The team are always pleasant and knowledgable.
Demand for the tickets is really high, because their secret is out. I've missed out many times, but for such intimate gigs that is to be expected. The key is being prepared... but there is often a second gig, in case you miss the first one.

A top rate job! Love what you are doing... keep it up.

I had a really good experience with Banquet Records! Due to a misunderstanding after a very long time since a purchase I had to return the vinyl (I bought a record for RSD for a friend that lives abroad and he wasn’t happy with a little scratch on it).
I’ve enquired about the possibility of a return and I did receive store credit!

It was close to 6 months!

It was so straightforward and easy to get in touch with the shop and the staff was extra helpful!

I don’t often buy new vinyl but I will make sure I order from Banquet Records whenever I am after a specific vinyl or a new release!

Would give 6 stars if I could but 5 is maximum!

The fault on the record was from the factory, no error from the shop! It was securely wrapped, fairly priced and I know that you are doing your best.

I previously wrote a review for Banquet Records and decided to revise it.

Before placing my first order, I checked their reviews here. While their score was relatively low, they had the records I wanted at reasonable prices. Both records were delivered, and I was happy with my purchase.

However, I later ordered a special edition BMTH album for my daughter for Christmas (on 10/12), and it still hasn't arrived. I’m disappointed with both the delay and the lack of sufficient communication.

I think that they could do a lot better on getting items to customers and maintaining relationships. So, I've reached out to see if they need any help in improving processes (which is what I do in my job). I'd like to help them and also see some reviews here change from red to green.

3 weeks to tell me it will be unavailable for the foreseeable. Fine print hints at unreliability, shame as I wholeheartedly support small record companies. But this one is poor

Thank you for a speedy, well-packaged delivery. No issues with ant aspect of the purchase and delighted to support an independent record shop.

My first choice for that RSD release if I am unable to get to my local store. They always deliver the goods.

What a joker! organise an event that says sold out on the second of ticket realise ! Shit website that does not give you the option to even try!

Simply a fabulous record store. I order mainly online and they deliver every time in a timely and secure way.

Ordered a RSD 24 U2 record. Great price, very fair postage, well packaged. Highly recommended shop to use. Keep independent record shops going and avoid the chains. Very happy.

I've ordered many times from banquet and recently noticed that my orders were held much longer than expected, which seem to be a way to send multiple orders together despite paying for shipping costs for each individually. They of course refuse to refund shipping costs when individual orders are sent together and often received damaged as a result of sending too many of them together. Also, they cancelled an order because of unavailability but still retain the shipping fees, had to insist to get a refund. Sadly their customer service is very arrogant and difficult to deal with.

Placed order for Christmas present took a week to advise that this item would not now be in until after Christmas. Disappointed!

My vinyl was well packed and the item was delivered in a timely fashion. The price seemed very reasonable too. Will definitely use again. Many thanks.

I bought an RSD vynil on release date. A number of links were provided by a fan membership site. Banquet Records had the cheapest price by £5 compared to the other sellers. I paid for basic postage, again cheapest out of all other sellers. I received an instant email to confirm the order & another to confirm same-day dispatch. Ordered item arrived within 4 working days, way sooner than expected. Great prices, excellent secure packaging & a flawless transaction. Perfect!

A lot of the stuff online is not in stock and they can no longer get it. They will take your money and ignore your emails. I’ve had to contact my bank to get my money back.

I’ve used Banquet records for a few years now and I’ve had nothing but excellent service. It’s sent out as soon as possible in sturdy packaging and that’s what I want. Also because I’m on the Isle of Man many sellers try to charge postage for abroad. I’m glad to say Banquet realise we are part of the U.K. so they charge correct postage. I have recommended to a few friends. Thank you for a good service. One of my go to record sellers.
