I write this as I cannot see a way of commenting on the appalling behaviour of the Winedrops brand.
I thought the wine trade had grown up a bit in their attempts to trap people into long term financial commitments .
Beware; I thought I had purchased six bottles of wine having seen one of their adverts. Oh no, they then proceeded to claim money from my credit card and on top of that charged an inordinate amount for one bottle that I had not confirmed the purchase of.
Deal with them with your eyes open!!

The ordered wine was not in stock (could this not be shown on the website)? Refund received after a number of emails chasing them up. Would not recommend

Fast delivery, quality product, good price, packaged well

This appears to be a sham website. It states how it’s offering access to Michelin starred restaurant wine lists at a fair price. At the same time their sister company co. Windedrops app are offering the same bottle at £60 reduced to £18. The only seller is Banquist which was previously the same company. They are the only company selling this wine at £60 so this is disingenuous, particularly when they pretend to be offering a fair price. All feels a bit shady and deceitful.

I never received my purchase. Avoid this company

I used to use banquist for a fancy meal to cook at home and they were wonderful. We were given a voucher as a gift for Banquist and unfortunately they seem to have stopped the meals and only had wine available. We ordered wine from the small selection and waited and heard nothing. Followed up 10 days later and turns out they don't even sell wine anymore (despite what their website says). So I'm now stuck with the voucher and nothing to use it on. They've said they'll refund the voucher to the original purchaser but given it was a gift it doesn't really work for us.

Have a flaw on one of the knives so not overjoyed, did send an email the other day but no response, although I would not have expected anything the next day. Rest of knives really good

Great value for such good quality! I asked for a review from “Letsmunch” on Instagram and he had many good things to say about the knives which swayed me to purchase them as a gift for my boyfriend! He’s very happy :)

Every box delivers as promised. Delivered on scheduled and well packed. I've been using Banquist for more than a year now and have not been disappointed once. Quality produce and proteins. Clear and concise instructions (written and video) Every course is yummilicious. Never a frown at the dinner table. Highly recommended 10 times over!!!

We’ve had several Banquist meals, including the Curry and Pasta courses.
The combination of high quality ingredients and the very clear video instructions have allowed us to create some amazing meals at home, whilst learning some new cookery skills.

I'd had my eye out for a decent knife set for quite awhile.I saw an ad for this set and I thought I'd give them a try..I was not disappointed. A very smart looking , well balanced knife set. They look great on my kitchen wall. Plus, I've nicked myself twice already!! (which is something I never do)...lol Great set. Would highly recommend!

Having written my review about the tough meat below, I have to say that the response from Banquist was instant and very generous. I am sure they will have sorted out the supply of beef.

I will definitely be trying another of the Banquist menus.

Most of the meal was delicious, particularly the starter and the vegetables and sauces. However … the beef was the toughest I have ever tried to eat. I cooked it exactly as in the video and even tested it with a probe thermometer. It was a perfect medium rare, just totally inedible.

Loved the Avocado Crab roll will be making this every week.

Delicious food and made us feel like proper chefs.

The miso ice cream was also incredible - would have loved the recipe for that.

We enjoyed the meal and we enjoyed making it. I made it with my son(34). The video was informative.
We should have got the chocolate out of the fridge earlier to make it easier to put in the case.

If you like good food and want to improve your cooking skills as well this is a fantastic experience. Very clear instructions and really enjoyable way to spend 3 hours. We would do it again and would recommend.

Fabulous 3 courses - and probably the best main course I have ever eaten!! And we cooked it at home!!! Brilliant!
