We loved this meal. Really interesting to find out new cooking and chopping techniques. It does forewarn you that you need a few hours to prepare, cook and eat and you do but it’s a really good experience. Fantastic food and value for money - I’d highly recommend it.

The food was amazing, the instructions were really clear and easy to follow. Never thought I’d be able to prepare a meal like this, will definitely do this again for a special occasion.

Highly recommended. Good ingredients, great videos and great results. Always worth it.

Delivered on time, well packed. Everything that should have been in the box was in the box. Instructions easy to follow, especially after seeing the video. A very tasty meal all round.

We bought this as a special New Year’s Eve meal, ingredients were lovely and fresh and cooking instructions very clear and easy to follow. Wine was lovely too! Great experience, loved it

We have had a couple of boxes from banquist, (including the Christmas dinner 2021) I must say we are very impressed. Best turkey we have ever had.Loved both boxes and will definitely order again.

We have had 3 Banquist meals, all quite different, by different chefs. The quality of the ingredients has always been excellent and the experience of putting together and cooking the meals has been both fun and inspiring. Also really outstanding service! Far more exciting and enjoyable than any other 'restaurant at home' experiences we have tried.

I had my first meal from Banquist for Christmas. Everything was well labelled & packaged. I was amazed at the amount of food, turkey was easily enough for 6 people not 2. The profiteroles were also plentiful. All instructions were easy to follow & the video was a useful demonstration. It was expensive but discounted as my first purchase.

The box of goodies, arrived in perfect condition, and my first view of the video was encouraging.
Time to cook! I found the pace of the video excellent and very easy to follow. I enjoy cooking and whilst no expert, I loved the experience.
The food on the plate looked good and tasted, as we had hoped. We found it important, not to rush, get organised, and not to get anxious and listen to the chef. Well done, we will do this again. Thankyou

Had a great New Years eve meal from Banquist. The fish was delicious, the pickled onions and sauce with the steak was lovely and the dessert was very good. It was good not to have a chocolate option. The South African wine was different. The whole thing arrived as expected, nothing missing and relatively easy to do.

I have had several Banquist experiences. First of all 4 week course with Phil Howard then one experience with Mike Robinson and then 2 experiences with Tony Parkin. Both of us really loved each experience. There were some meals that were not our favourite foods - but that is to be expected. I learned a lot from each course. I have used these learning in my every day cooking and notice an improvement. Particulary in the use of salt and moving food when cooking.

Fabulous experience. The quality of the ingredients was superb. The video from Nick Parkin explaining how to do the meal was very informative and well presented. It made a complete amateur like me think, yes, I can do this and put up an presentable meal.
Okay, the presentation wasn’t Michelin standard, but , it tasted fantastic and that’s all that matters.
This is a fantastic concept and I will definitely be back for more.

Great quality ingredients and really good instructions. Our NYE dinner was delicious! I would thoroughly recommend Banquist.

We have had a number of banquists and other cookathomes in the last 2 years. We had the NYE Tony Parkin Scallops and Fallow Deer last year which was superb so we decided to try his bream and sirloin this NYE. If anything it was even better. The wine (shakalaka) was really smooth and completed the sirloin. First course was a sashimi of bream. (No sourdough this year ?) This fish was fresh and tasty and married with the Thai dressing and salad superbly. Main was Sirloin with hasselback potatoes, hispi cabbage, pickled red onion slices and a bone marrow and thyme sauce. All really tasty and when married with that sauce really lifted all the flavours. Dessert was a lemongrass pannacotta. (FIND A RECIPE AND MAKE THIS). Absolute showstopper !!
As with most banquists there is an element of honing skills above most other cool at homes but this was relatively easy and the instructions and video spot on. Can’t wait for NYE 22!!

I absolutely love the banquets experiences. This is our second one, food is excellent quality, instructions and support whilst cooking is excellent
