What a really nice smooth whiskey

Another great competition both whisky &Rum, Keep up the good work 👍

Mark gives great advice on what products to buy, arranges delivery, always very pleasant.

I love visiting independent whisky shops (whisky and gin in this case) and this was no exception.

The shop is bright and airy with a great selection of whiskies and gins.

I was particularly taken by the Thomson Bros Mystery Malt and having had a chat about the history and seeing a list of what could be within the bottle, it was clear that there were no duds and so there’s nothing to lose in taking a punt. As it happens, I scored a 27 y/o Auchentoshsan. Here’s the best bit - all the mystery bottles are priced at £65.95. What a bargain.

These guys can’t compete with supermarkets but the knowledge, availability of something different / special makes it a far more rewarding buying experience and it’s important to support these independent shops.

Go pay a visit (and you may get very lucky with a mystery malt)

Stumble upon the shop by accident in Turrif. A great range of whisky & gin. W left with a bottle of whisky for my hubby and a bottle of gin (with a hilarious name - never seen it before).Lovely, friendly, knowledgeable owner.

I ordered from the website and had my order safely delivered within 48 hours - good communication, friendly service - happy to recommend and will use again.

Cracking wee shop. Great range of both whisky and cigars. Owner was very knowledgeable about what he was saying and extremely helpful. Prices were competitive.

Very knowledgeable, friendly staff. Helped me choose a whisky to suit my taste and budget. Tried it later that day and it was perfect.

Friendly approachable owner who is happy to give recommendations per your own palate.

This is a great wee local business in Turriff. Mark is really knowleagable with a great selection of booze and cigers.

Always a pleasure at Barrels and Botanicals.
Ive been going to Mark for whisky for a few years now and quite frankly, I wouldn't go anywhere else.
There are whisky shops a lot closer to me that I could use but I love visiting the shop.

A great local business. I am happy to support you

Mark provides a great service, through Whisky tastings and advice on purchases based on customer preferences, besides Gin and other specialist drinks he stocks.

Great product. Very quick delivery

Range of beers, whiskies and service all excellent. Order was ready for collection less than an hour after it was placed.

Great service from Mark, and great item dispatched quickly and well packaged

Great service again from Mark. Can’t beat a gift voucher so folks can visit and choose their next tipple from a fabulous selection.

Love this place, always got something new to discover, and I've been coming here for a good few years. My go to when I need a quality whisky - did I mention - they have cigars too!
