Though the sales process went well, as others have mentioned, the aftersales process was bad. They cancelled our ensuite bathroom glass despite it being specifically requested and the measurements sent for the glass to be ordered. This added on an extra 3 weeks to the process.

Bathroom by Design could not have given me a better service in 2019. Their helpfulness and flexibility, especially when items ordered and paid for needed to be returned as unsuitable once on site. This was never a problem and refunds were issued promptly.They designed and supplied my 2 shower rooms and I was very happy to find Chris Argles still at his desk today (09/06/25) when I needed to source the correct shower seat for my wet room. I was automatically given the same discount i received in 2019. Chris Argles also designed and helped my daughter through her bathroom renovations over the last 2 years. Very happy to recommend the whole team.

After purchasing my flat, I was disappointed to discover that both bathrooms had leaks. Given their age, I made the difficult decision to replace them entirely. It was a daunting prospect, as both bathrooms were originally well-appointed with quality sanitaryware and tiles, and had it not been for the leaks, I wouldn’t have considered changing them. I knew I needed replacements that were not just functional, but matched, or exceeded the existing standard.

From the very moment I walked into the showroom, Nina made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. Her expertise, warmth, and attention to detail were apparent straight away. She guided me through the design process with clarity and creativity, making what could have been overwhelming feel exciting and completely manageable. Every question I had, every time I needed help or reassurance, Nina responded professionally, promptly, and with genuine care.

And the results? Absolutely stunning. The quality of the materials and the precision of the finish are nothing short of exceptional. Great service from start to finish. Stuart was very methodical and clear in his communication with us throughout, both in terms of what was possible in terms of design, and what could be done within the confines of our budget. Bathroom materials were all of very high quality. We LOVE the finished restoration! Would whole heartedly recommend.

I have recently had a bathroom designed and material supplied by bathroom by design. The front end design process was very good and would probably score 5 out of 5, it was fast and slick. However, I would score the delivery process 1 out 5, it was very poor. It felt like once the quote was done and paid for they lost interest in the project. So many thing went wrong, products not in stock, not delivered on time, delivered with damage. I wouldn't use this organisation again unless they significantly improved the back-end process.

I applied to Bathroomsbydesign at Richmond for a design to replace an inherited and antiquated bathroom with a more bespoke modern wet room. When I presented Hish with the dimensions and photographs of the bathroom he very quickly provided a design which met my needs. He also suggested local companies with a good track record of carrying out the designs proposed. I chose one of them and when I had agreed with the company a few on the spot adjustments to Hish's design he then produced a more precise design which became an accurate blueprint for carrying out the detailed work required.
In addition I bought a variety of bathroom equipment for the new wet room which Hish offered me at discounted prices and then stored without cost for two months until it was ready to be installed.

I used BathroomsbyDesign for the first time. We did a lot of research and visited other companies, but this company stood out clearly, both in terms of quality, design ideas, manufacturer options and a reasonable price . Nicky who attended to our project was excellent from the outset and helped see the completion of the project to our satisfaction. Her knowledge on the design layout, various manufacturers and combining that with her practical ideas, made sure the end result exceeded our expectations. She also helped us during the different phases , it was not just a sales approach and then to other parts of the company, she helped us through and through. I would recommend this company for sure and make sure you get Nicky to help you with your dream bathroom .

I have used Bathrooms By Design for a number of projects over the years and generally dealt with Chris. The bespoke design service is excellent and their knowledge of the wide range of manufacturers and their products means they can give a quality result at a competitive price. With their great selection of tiles, it really is a one stop shop.

Good pricing, great sales. The big let down is the shocking after sales service and very cheap and poor quality products they sell from a manufacturer called EastBrook. Avoid the brand at all costs! Returning any unused items will cost the customer 25% re stocking fee plus courier fees! Contacting customer support after sales is almost impossible.
Buy at your peril, and hope you don’t have any problems!

Very competitive pricing. Needed to change my order. This was done quickly, easily and without fuss despite the fact the original order was already prepared for delivery.
Later I realised I hadn't had an updated invoice for my guarantee. One email request and the new invoice was in my inbox.
Can not fault service.

Sara is/was exceptional to work with, she guided us through the various aspects and had a lot of patience as we approached the project with a 'every detail' matters approach! So kudos to Sara for putting up with us. She designed and brought to life our requirements and vision using their great 3D tool which brought everything together. The end result was us being extremely comfortable in placing an order with her knowing we left no stone untuned... we are very excited to see everything installed.

She' is a credit to her company.

Aftersales is awful

Sales team was great but then once the payment was taken the whole aftersales process was a nightmare.

Sales orders and delivery notes were a mess and very difficult to reconcile. It was difficult to track what was being delivered when through different batches and our installation team had to waste a lot of time on the phone with the aftersales team.

We had incorrect orders being delivered and items delivered broken, which meant our installers had their work delayed. An item we ordered was out of stock for a year and customer service took weeks/months to reply to our emails. When we needed to exchange anything, the process was painful with the customer having to pay for the items again even though the exchanges were at the same price.

The at Richmond have been phenomenal from our initial design and concept meeting to delivery. The team is always a phone call away and offer advice and assistance if required. Our new bathroom is a statement within our renovation.
