Had a really nice time. Cosmos was our lift guide and he was brilliant, lots of knowledge and made the experience really great!
The building is incredible and clearly been beautifully renovated. I didn't want to do the lift experience so opted to pay £10 (or be completely ripped off) for the 'exhibition'! A few areas set out telling you about the designers/architects, some artefacts from the time and a few models. Took all of 10 minutes (being generous here) to look round. If you haven't booked the chimney experience, absolutely AVOID the exhibition. Staff very nice.
We had a fabulous day at Battersea Power Station. We went up in the Chimney Lift and the views were fantastic. Cosmos was our host in the lift and he was brilliant. He had a great energy and was very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend a visit.
I wouldn’t even give this a star if I had the option. The customer service team is AWFUL. I paid for this via Wowcher, I chose a selected date and time. Redeemed my voucher, got the barcode to scan had all contact details. 2 days before, baring in mind this was a Christmas present for my children who was so excited. So 2 days before at 3pm they email global box office that there was an error (basically over booked/sold tickets) that it’s cancelled. No offering of any other times, dates. I’ve emailed back 3 times to the email, tried calling guest service at Battersea who are no help either. My friend who booked along same way - no email. Hers are still valid. How is that ok? We booked the same time? I’ve had to let down 2 children now a day before as I’ve had no reply back. Not even offered a refund. Just “sorry” STAY CLEAR FOR FUTURE BOOKINGS.
I made a reservation for my entire family, with a total value of £100. Unfortunately, I never received a booking confirmation email or the tickets electronically. As a result, I was forced to attend the information desk in person in order to have the tickets printed.
I understand and fully accept that the tickets are non-refundable. This is not the issue. The issue is the complete lack of flexibility and customer-focused thinking demonstrated by your policies and by the way this situation was handled.
The booking was scheduled for Sunday, 21 December 2025 at 8:00 pm and was intended as a Christmas gift for a six-year-old child. However, due to severe weather conditions — cold temperatures combined with heavy rain — it became impossible for us to attend and safely enjoy the experience as a family. The rink is outdoors, and these conditions made participation unreasonable, particularly with a young child.
When I contacted customer support, I was given the following explanation: “There is always a possibility of falling and getting wet on the ice.” I find this response unacceptable and dismissive. Falling on the ice is not comparable to standing and skating under heavy rainfall. Are families seriously expected to attend and skate under umbrellas with a six-year-old child in such weather conditions?
I repeatedly and politely asked for a simple rescheduling of the tickets for five people to the following week due to circumstances beyond our control. I was not requesting a refund, only a transfer. Weather conditions are unpredictable — unfortunately, I am not Zeus and cannot control the rain. Considering that hundreds of customers attend your rink daily, it is difficult to understand why such a reasonable request could not be accommodated, other than a clear prioritisation of profit over customer care.
I am extremely disappointed by the level of service provided. The lack of empathy, flexibility, and basic customer-oriented thinking has completely overshadowed what was meant to be a joyful Christmas family experience.
I strongly advise others to reconsider making a booking with your rink unless they possess the ability to control the weather themselves.
Misleading sticker on parking machine said we couldn’t pay there, so it delayed ticket payment.
Resulted in one and a half minutes over the 6 hour parking period and then charged £15 extra. £30 for parking in total.
Told to write in to Guest Services for refund by on site office.
Very poorly dealt with by JP Hewett and the department. Apparently escalated complaint but refused refund as said 1.5 minutes was a ‘significant’ amount of time over the 6 hours.
A very small issue but as a point of principal it should have been refunded.
If they don’t consider a refund on 1.5 minutes, they shouldn’t be telling people to write in. Would 30 seconds over have worked?
A lot of hype and a lot of disappointment. We booked to go to both the lift experience and the Jurassic experience. Technical difficulties prevented this which was only explained to us when we turned up. The lack of communication from both the lift experience and Jurassic experience was appalling. They sold tickets knowing there was a power outage. Feel a bit ripped off after making a specific trip to visit. Technical difficulties are unavoidable, of course, but the communication could have been so much better.
My absolute favourite place to visit is the shopping centre at Battersea Power Station. The entire space always looks so polished and beautifully maintained, which makes it such a pleasure to be there.
However, I was extremely disappointed when I tried to use the toilet yesterday — especially as it was my very first visit. The sanitary bin was overflowing, and there were tissues scattered all over the floor. This was on the ground floor, and the state of the facilities was quite appalling.
It’s disheartening to see this in such a popular and prestigious location. I truly hope this issue will be addressed urgently — particularly the overflowing sanitary bins — to ensure the toilets reflect the same high standards as the rest of the shopping centre.
Fabulous place. Will definitely go back again! You could spend all day there. The lift experience was awesome. The views from the top stunning. I cant remember our guides name but he was a young gentleman with good people skills and knowledge. All the staff we met where excellent. I have a travel scooter and disabilities which can sometimes be an issue but here it was no problem, everyone was very kind and helpful. 😊
Why Golly, this incredible power station in now my new favourite place to skip down long corridors. As a maths and corridor enthusiast, I am constantly adventuring to find new and exciting corridors. And to my outstanding amazement, Battersea power station now takes hold to the title of the best longest corridor! I just love how long and thin they are!
With Very Many Thanks,

Lovely place to visit, although the lift experience staff are quite rude, could be better.
A real outstanding example of urban development. Totally brilliant.
A must see
After all the hype and on a recent visit to London a relative and I decided to visit this renovated building which had been turned into a Shopping Mall from a Power Station! It was well done but, it was soulless, bland, sterile and lifeless plus a lack of notification! We decided that we would go up in the lift to get the views of the surrounding areas we had checked on line about the price which was £15.50 I believe, fair enough, we went to the ticket office and said we wanted tickets for the lift the person rung up £23+ each I said but on line it quoted £15.50 Oh! But that’s if you book on line so that was a No No we decided! Not even any concessions!! Could have done with some Christmas music to liven the place up!! At least we were a short walk from the Thames and were able to get a UBER boat back to the London Eye with concessions and enjoyed the trip up the Thames….
Locked disabled toilets, by the time you find someone with a key, it's too late, so straight back home in my wheelchair wet to change...
What a disappointment, was expecting some nod to the history of the power station - its a glorified shopping up- market experience. Lovely choice for shoppers, very little to see of the old power station - just electrical breakers- no info about when built, decommissioning, etc etc
A big disappointment 😞
A glorified shopping centre without the usual signs directing you to lifts, toilets, the food hall or the glass lift (known as lift 109. How are we to know that?) The electronic maps don't help. They appear to have the wrong orientation and tell you 'you are here' in 4 or 5 different places. Couldn't wait to leave.
