Reflecting on my visit to BDH Sterling that morning, I wrote the following email to the staff with whom I'd interacted:
"As I was driving home from your office today, I was thinking about how incredibly fortunate we are to have such great professionals looking after our finances. Just as striking though, is the fact that you are all such gorgeous people, with a collective sense of humour, who leave your egos at the door.
There is so much theory around how to build a positive workplace culture and most get it wrong but wow, you guys have nailed it!

Simon has been instrumental in our long term planning which included the possibility of a move UK to Oz.
We have now made that move and his team are experts at minimising tax via a SIPP to Oz Superannuation strategy.

Using BDH Sterling to transfer my UK private pension to Australia via QROPS
BDH Sterling were a really great company to transfer my UK private pension to Australia when I obtained permanent residency.
At every stage of the process I dealt with knowledgeable people who explained everything in great detail and never tired of the questions that I asked.
I knew exactly what was going to happen and how much I was going to pay.
Their team took care of me at every step and I cannot thank them enough.

Nick Bond was a wealth of information and covered ALL my questions (and more) regarding the financial aspects of migration to Australia. Really gave me peace of mind and a clear strategy on options to manage my UK pensions, investments, currency exchanges etc. Also provided insight into Australian financial regulations compared with UK which helped enormously. I have no hesitation in returning to speak with Nick for future advice or guidance.

BDH have been managing my pension back in the UK for 8 years now and they always keep me up to date with investment choices as the market changes.
