Comprehensive service
We selected Benchmark in a four month process reviewing a large number of contenders to work with us in finding the right partner to take our company to market.
From the start of the project Benchmark were responsive and diligent. Together we produced the Information Memorandum quickly and efficiently and we attracted interest from 70 potential buyers.
We selected the preferred bidder within 6 months of starting the marketing campaign and completed the deal after another 5 months.
I would particularly like to thank Joshua, Charlotte, Andy, and Roger for their enthusiasm and engagement throughout the process.

Selling a business is a very daunting…
Selling a business is a very daunting experience and Benchmark's personnel were with us all the way. I have never sold a business before and I found their experience, patience and hand holding were exceptional. Their depth of knowledge and access to large databases of buyers assisted in achieving a number of quality potential interested parties.
Benchmark was by our side going through the introductions and guiding us with the do's and don'ts when we spoke to the potential buyer directly. Once a buyer was agreed upon, the next stage was documents... a lot of documents..
Again their, patience, experience and keeping my expectations real, came into play and made this part of the process flow as smoothly as possible and, eventually, we got over the line.
I have huge praise for Benchmark and have no problem in recommending them to buyers or sellers of businesses.

Waste of time!
I receive many letters from this company for several of my clients! Usually you would find details of how to opt out of future marketing but nothing. Fed up of receiving these letters through the post now, they clearly just get the contact information from Companies House and then try their luck. The letters ask you to contact them and if not, they'll contact you again instead!

Excellent support from the Benchmark Team
Benchmark provided valuable and honest advice throughout the process of our company sale. In the initial stages, they uncovered potential buyers which my research hadn't revealed. "benchmark-international.co.uk" are sending out spam and phishing emails.
The URL links to however links to "benchmarkintl.com"
Please take appropriate steps to address this issue.

For the avoidance of doubt, I have at no-point prior to this review (and as of receipt of your email), had any contact with Benchmark, have never been a customer of Benchmark nor indeed had even ever heard of Benchmark and never received the said emails from or ever had any prior contact with this "Stephen" etc.
As far as I can see, this all seems to be some kind of poorly thought out marketing scheme that is veering on phishing and I suspect would be of interest to the ICO and the CMA.
Please desist from further contact.

I very much liked working with Malte Bockholt at Benchmark, who finally helped me conclude the search.
I found the preparation of the IM very laborious, took a lot of my time, and never got the impression that Benchmark understood what my company did.
There was also a lack of business understanding with questions such as - why were your sales down in 2020/21? ....= COVID!!
