Our transaction, as they often do, took quite a few twists and turns, many of which were out of our control. However what I found with Benchmark was a professional and pragmatic approach that guided us carefully through the tricky decisions. I successfully sold my business with Benchmark. I was initially only looking to sell shares but throughout the process changed my mind as the right buyer was found by Benchmark and I sold 100%. Benchmark has been a great partner in this process, they are competent, generated a lot of interest in my business and in the end we had 7 offers from different investors to choose from. I can highly recommend Benchmark and would like to thank them for their professionalism and help throughout this process.

To sell or not to sell – this was not the question. But Hamlet wouldn’t have known how to do it. And neither did we…
So we got in contact with Benchmark on recommendation of our local Chamber of Commerce and Industry. And the recommendation hit the bull’s-eye.
Benchmark was there for us and Felix guided us smoothly through the complex process from start to finish. He dealt with everything and everybody (purchaser, accountants, lawers) in a calm professional way – pushing, when needed, or stepping back, giving time to breath and to understand the complexity of the deal and to make the right decisions.
At the end the going got a bit tough and it came to a tight deadline we eventually met with Felix’ help, always keeping a clear head.

We recently sold our business through Benchmark. This was probably the biggest thing we have ever done, but we felt supported and guided throughout the process by all involved at Benchmark, in particular, Will, who always made himself available.
Although the process was complex, and required a lot of input, it made sense as it was explained at each stage. It was ultimately successful, resulting in several good offers, meaning that we managed to sell to a company within our industry, who were a perfect fit.

Life changing
Selling my business was the most important deal of my life and the one I had been working day and night for 13 years for. When I engaged Benchmark I did not appreciate what an important role in the process they played. From day on until the completion they were extremely professional and were always on hand and available for advise and guidance. They worked tirelessly to get me the best deal for me and at no time did I feel that they were only interested in their fee. I was amazed at the number or quality potential buyers they found which resulted in numerous offers giving me the luxury of choice. Best decision I made was to choose Benchmark.

Great sales result using Benchmark
I've recently sold my business using the team at Benchmark. At first, they come across as very salesy which might not work for everybody. It wasn't right for me initially but then when you realise you will be using them to sell the business it dawns on you that you want your team to be sales focused.
From engaging with Darren initially then getting passed to their specialist literature team followed then by James Sloane who led the sales part of the process, they were efficient throughout. While you move from person to person, they are all specialists in that area so it works.
One thing that really stood out for me was the speed, we had so many notes of interest in a very short period.
The end result is that we got a great sale value to a fantastic organisation that wasn't on our radar initially.
