Just come back from my surprise trip to Nice, where I had spent my birthday. First off well done to BeRightBack, for this ingenious idea of subscription short holidays. I Signed up because I wasn't going anywhere and I was wasting my annual leave at home.

To leave your plans in the company (literally) of someone else, can give you anxiety, however, the company engagement with customers is amazing, and I felt safe in the knowledge that they wouldn't do me wrong.

On January 11th, I found out that I was going to Nice. Not even in my top 10 places to visit, but I went with an open mind and reminded myself I needed this break, not just for my birthday but for my mind.

BRB picked a lovely hotel (which will get its own review), stayed in a double superior room, which I didn't expect and I was super close to the beach and all the amenities.

I can't thank BRB enough for doing an amazing job with my break. I hope this business expands to have more options, for instance, once the break is revealed, if you wanted to do a tour, perhaps they could organise it, I wouldn't mind paying for extras, as its totally worth it. Anyway, thank you, BRB. I won't be cancelling £49.99 monthly fee as its worth every penny. I look forward to my next break.

Oh just a note, In Nice you get the tram from the Airport and its only €1.50

This is an amazing way to get away. We were so pleased with our accommodation and it's all sorted for you. No hunting. Would highly recommend this to anyone

I loved my first BRB trip to Nice from the intial booking and setting up your profile through to receiving the postcard and the pre trip reminders they were all fantastic. I also love how engaged the founders are with the travellers experience and social media.

The information about my flight, hotel and things to do in the area where a great starting point. The only thing was and this was an issue on the hotels website too is that the travel from the Airport to hotel information is outdated. I was in Nice and they have a tram system now instead of the train and bus from the Airport to the hotel. As I say, I know others not using BRB had a similar experience and the hotel website only had this information in their news section not on the how to find us page so again I don't blame BRB and I know that they're doing lots of things such as sending staff on the trips to walk through the experience so I am sure this won't be a recurring issue.

Amazing service! Can not fault it at all. Love the surprise element. Great communication. Fun social media presence. Good value for money for a solo traveller. Loved it and can’t wait for my next trip.

EDITED: It was a great experience. I have been a member of BRB Travel since last year, but this was my first trip. It was easy and effortless; I just needed to check in to my flight, get to the hotel and have a great time. When I have a query Alex responded quickly and answered my question.
This is seriously a great idea - would be nice if you could maybe choose to do longer trips. But a three day city break is perfect to get a taste of places. And they send you a bunch of information before you go about top things to see, do, and places to eat. As well as a weather report (which is luck of the draw if you are going this time of the year really).

I just thought of one other thing - it would be great if we could see the balance we have in our 'savings' from the months we are paying? Not a criticism at all, still love everything, but might be nice to know how many trips we have saved up for already.

Honestly, a great experience!

I can’t rave about this company enough! My surprise trip was revealed as Venice! Which I was so pleased about but the actual trip experience itself was fantastic, I received instructions on my hotel and how to make my way there which were spot on. The hotel was 4* and modern - I couldn’t have picked better myself and the flights were with BA and great timings! It was so nice to take a trip that didn’t involve the usual stresses of locating flight deals and scouting trip advisor reviews for accommodation . I can’t wait for my next trip!

Lack of communication from staff, I was unable to take my trip due to an unexpected bereavement and did not have any help.

I was not offered to amend my trip at the additional cost as I stated I was happy to pay the charge I was just told changing my trip was just not possible. I was not told until after my trip had gone that my trip had been cancelled despite me chasing multiple times for responses.

A lovely city to explore just before Christmas

Amazing service and trip was well thought out, just got back and already booked the next one, cannot recommend BRB travel enough!

Value for money, excellent for city breaks. Would give 5 stars, slightly let down by not having breakfast in what is essentially a bed and breakfast. But hey don’t let not having breakfast spoil anything

Thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Budapest. Great location and comfortable apartment.

First trip was a definite success. When you're in a city you want to spend your time out n about exploring, so the basic hotel didn't matter as it was spotlessly clean and bed was comfy. Looking forward to the next one

Great hotel choice and I look forward to seeing where I go next. If you love travelling and exploring new places, this is for you.

Sent us to Lisbon! I had never been to Portugal, so that was exciting! Got our postcard exactly 1 month before we flew, which was plenty of time to organise airport parking, transfers to the hotel and to add a bit of luggage for our flight! Put us up in a lovely 5* hotel! Stunning views out to the sea and across all of Lisbon! Could see monuments from our room as well, which was exciting! The itinery information didn't pop up until a few days after we had received our postcard so as not to ruin the surprise, which I was grateful for, as the novelty of the postcard is what I was so excited about! So much thought is put into all of it as well - the postcard was hand written, which was a testiment to the amount that goes into these breaks! Strongly recommend this subscription if you like to travel, but struggle to decide where to go, or find that booking things yourself works out quite pricey! With BRB you're paying monthly, rather than in one hit, and you don't have to worry about the stress of deciding where to go, and organising your flights and hotel! We explored the vast majority of the city while we were there, so if you think 2 nights isn't long enough to see everything, you just need more practice 😉.

I've just returned from my first trip with BeRightBack and I've already booked another one! Everything was very straightforward, the team were even really helpful when I accidentally had some travel documents sent to their email instead of my own, and promptly sent them to me when I got in touch. The destination was great and we loved the surprise element, the only ever-so-tiny niggle is that I didn't feel the hotel was a 5 star, as advertised. The rooms were quite tired and could have done with a slight refurb, but other than that I can't fault the trip or BeRightBack! We'll be travelling with them again in April 2020 :)

The flight times gave us very limited time to explore, paired with the location of the holiday we spent more time travelling to places that actually enjoying them. If I book mini breaks I always maximise the time, however this break felt rather rushed.

I visited Budapest 8-10 November 2019 and stayed at the Lord Residence, a double-bed flat for sole occupancy, with bathroom, kitchen, and spacious sitting room. The flat was centrally located for most of the tourist destinations without having to use public transport, with Lidl and Spar grocery stores close by.

The Budapest Tour by night, 19:30 - 21:30, with an English-speaking guide, in a people-carrier, is a must. In fact, it was magical to see the city lit up at night and to be able to go up in the hills to see the spectacular view was an excellent photo stop opportunity.

There's plenty to do in a short weekend. Apart from the usual tourist sites, I didn't have time to do the evening cruise with dinner, nor visit the Christmas markets and thermal baths, but someone staying for 3 nights would have time.
