Had a new boiler fitted on wednesday…
Had a new boiler fitted on wednesday 24th July. Came home after a weekend away to a strong smell of gas as soon as we opened the door.
Had to phone the emergency gas number and they sent an engineer out straight away. The leak was from a pipe they had fitted. He had to turn the gas off and cap the meter.
Since then,4 days ago, i have been chasing my tail trying to get someone to come out and fix it. I am passed from one number to another, promised it will be dealt with by complaints, relevant photos sent to the relevant people and still no response from anyone!.
I have no hot water, no gas hob but more importantly we could have died from the gas leak yet still I have received no response.
Anyone with any complaits/issues with this company please report it to gas safe. Company's like this shouldn't be able to trade in the way they are.

Failed to install the boiler properly. Told me to hire another engineer to correct it and despite promising to settle his bill, they didn't. They blocked my email and avoid my calls.
Do not work with them.

These companies are trading under two names but are managed by the same people.
**Avoid them at all costs!**
Under the Government ECO Scheme, they replaced my boiler. However, the workmanship was far below acceptable standards, as verified by Gas Safe. They only addressed the issues after Gas Safe intervened and mandated that they correct all the boiler and piping problems. It also took additional pressure from my local M.P. to get them to comply.
The installation process was a nightmare. They caused significant damage to my carpets and ceiling due to leaking rusty water from the poorly installed boiler. Additionally, my carpet was burnt during their installation work, adding to the extensive damage. Despite this, they refused to take responsibility for the damages.
For eight months, I have endured the stress of trying to get compensation, only to be met with evasiveness and blatant refusal to acknowledge their mistakes. Their customer service is appalling, and they employ every tactic to avoid admitting liability or providing satisfactory resolutions.
Please be warned – this company lacks professionalism, integrity, and accountability. Save yourself the headache and find a reputable service provider.
Avoid this company
Please do not be deceived by their very professional website as they operate very unprofessionally. I have told them many times that my parents are elderly and ill yet they have blocked their windows for 5 days without any response. I have been chasing them via phone and email but only false promises are given. They also do not give a timeline on when actions are taking place and when it would be completed.

I had a combi boiler and radiator fitted by this company 9months ago and am extremely happy with both the installation and the brilliant service they give. I have just been helped by a really lovely lady Wajiha, who talked me though refilling my boiler. They go the extra mile.

Awful expirience
Having qualified for the boiler scrappage scheme through igni I was booked an installation with berks insulation. After the install the amount of debris left in the house was disappointing. Upon the install teams departure my wife discovered that her underwear draw in the bedroom had been opened and to our horror so had our 11 year old daughters underwear draw been opened in her bedroom. The next day there was heavy rain and we discovered that the roof was leaking. Upon inspection it was found that the flu pipe installation was poor between the lead flashing on the roof and the top cover of the flu allowing rain to run down the outside of the flu into the loft space and soak through the ceiling.
This was corrected by a family friend as I had no desire to have these men back in our home after the first incident.
One week after install the system completely died. No power to boiler. This time I had to reluctantly call berks insulation for assistance as I could not afford to get it looked at independantly. The first call rang and rang then was finaly answered by someone who could not speak or understand English with a baby crying and what sounded like noise from a domestic kitchen in the background. The person who answered spoke to me in a foreign language and promptly hung up. I checked the number and confirmed it was the one I had for berks insulation, which it was and called it again, this time answered by a lady with good English but with a foreign accent leading me to believe this company may well be run from a private address.
The lady was sympathetic and said with conviction after checking the computer that there was an engineer on another call in my area and he would be there later in the day as soon as he had finished at the other property. At 18:00 That evening I got a voicemail message from another lady to tell me, in a rather unconvincing mannor, that the engineer's vehicle had broken down and he would not be able to attend, but, she had managed to get a Wooster Bosch engineer to attend........in two days time. January, with no heating or hot water.
We waited two days for the engineer to arrive which he did. Completely different expirience. Nice van, nice guy, good tool kit, uniformed, professional. Checked the boiler and had to condemn it with a big sticker. To be fair to the original installation team the inspection from the Wooster Bosch engineer showed that it was a safe installation, however the installer had failed to remove a length of pipe on the main water feed which causes a momentary pressure increase, heard as a bang in the pipes, when the water is turned from on to off. This is apparently a well known cause of breakdowns on greenstar boiler models. This would have been a five minute job and should have been taken care of if a professional installer had carried out the work. The Wooster Bosch engineer stated that the problem was with the power supply and contractually he could not touch it. Fair enough.
With luck a family friend was on hand again and discovered that the fused spur had been poorly wired up with the armour of the live feed cable being clamped within the fused spur and not the copper of the wire itself. This had resulted in a poor contact and excess heat which had caused the cable to fail at the tip of the wire where it had been loosely touching the contact instead of being clamped and secure.
In short I am very greatful to have had a quality boiler provided to me at no cost. I would however urge all not to use this company for anything.

Berks insulation based in Slough are a joke. They should not be part of the eco4 system run by the government. They flooded ours and our neighbours properties because they failed to install the pipe from the boiler properly. They caused £700 worth of damage and have taken zero steps to put it right.
They have been messing us about for months and lying to us. We are now going ahead with taking them to court to recoup our losses for their incompetence.
The sign of a decent company is how they deal with problems when they arise. This company is useless at dealing with this, they do not care and avoid sorting out problems that they cause
I have read many horrendous reviews about the company and wish I had read them before getting involved with them.
Let this be a warning to anyone thinking of using them, DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK.
