very happy customer

we had a survey to see if we where elidable for the free boiler grant and we where bit sceptical at first but when Roy the gas plumber turned up he put our minds at rest very informative and very skilled lovely job no mess very respectful of our home had to cut a fixed cupboard to gain access but arraigned for someone to fix it and you cant tell very happy with the total job all helpful

In our experience the biggest issue…

In our experience the biggest issue with this company is poor communication.
One day I tried ringing 8 times, the phone wasn't answered once, often getting cut off after 3 minutes.
Our boiler was installed on 26th February. We are still waiting for the remedial work to be completed.
They have cancelled appointments on the day. The last appointment they had arranged to be there for 9am, when they hadn't arrived by 10.30 I rang them and amazingly got through. They promised to be there in 40 minutes. 2 1/4 hours later they turned up, no apology or explanation. One occasion the text said they would be there at 10am for the survey, after a no show they informed me they had a completely different time slot booked.
On the day of installation they took away the gas fire without asking, we had planned to reuse it for the coal effect. Two different people have said they would look into this, still waiting.
I have used the admin@simpleheatingservice email address on 3 occasions, not had one reply. Ive tried using the Facebook messenger service but you just get an automated response giving the email address no one replies to. Ive emailed asking about their complaints procedure, not had a reply yet.
The man who installed the boiler worked very hard to complete his work in one day, everything else has been very disappointing. I would not recommend this company.

Successful Boiler installation

We had a team of three workmen led by Ian who fitted our idealCombi C30 boiler. They were all very professional, respectful and considerate. They worked really hard as a team, and left our house as clean as could be expected.
I had reason to phone Ian for advice two days later and he could not have been more helpful. I would recommend these three tradesmen 100%!

3 jobs in 3 Days

We had 3 jobs done by Simple Heating Services.
1, Vents in windows, Fans fitted and Loft Insulation. The 2 lads did a Fantastic Job and Very clean and Thorough.

They Fitted our new Combi in an alternative place exactly where we wanted it Fitting, found an alternative route for all the pipes especially the Gas,
all this with minimum Disruption and Mess Brilliant Job.

Great professional service

The Survey went well, and the surveyor was polite and informative.

The two guys that turned up to do my mother's full central heating, where polite and very professional. My mother was thrilled with the work. They even moved her furniture for her.
Only one fault...they put back the horrid carpet 😂

To Everyone who made this service 1st Class experience I cannot thank them all enough, Kyler and Corey who arranged this for me were amazing, and Roy who worked tirelessly and even in rain for 2 days ,he deserves a medal. Half a job done, roof leaking and can't use new heating

The two guys who came (on separate days) to do the work were really professional and knew exactly what they were here to do, were friendly and kept me informed throughout.
BUT, and it is a HUGE BUT.....
The boiler wasn't actually wired into the house's wiring, he put plugs on it, drilled holes through a wall, ran the wires through the wall and plugged them into sockets! An electrician needs to come and do this bit.
He left gaps in my roof around the flue. A plumber needs to come and fix this. So now my roof is leaking all over my new loft insulation!
The old back boiler was meant to be removed and the hole boarded over, but removal of the back boiler is apparently a 2-man job. There was only ever one person here each day so I was told two guys would come back the next day to do it.
I can't have the heating on until the back boiler is removed and boarded over because all the heat just escapes through the hole.
An electrician was booked for 27.01 but he turned up on 30.01 when I was out, and now I can't get hold of him.
I've been waiting since 13 January for these things to be completed.
No-one ever answers the phone. So how/when this is ever going to be rectified, I have absolutely no clue.

Added 12.2.26 .... roof still leaking, so my nice new loft insulation is getting wetter and wetter, and will need replacing if the problem isn't rectified forthwith.
I'm still sitting here in the cold, because it's pointless putting the heating on only for it to get lost through the gaping hole in my lounge wall that's waiting for the back boiler to be removed and the hole boarding over.
The whole job should have been completed within a day or two, instead, it's been more than 4 weeks, with no sign of it being rectified and no-one answering phones at the company, regardless of which option I choose (I've tried them all at least once every day for the past 3+weeks)!

The correct option would be useful when asking me to call you, as no matter which option I try, they all ring out unanswered regardless of what time of day I call.
Also, I'm certain you're trying a wrong number for me as there has not been a single call (missed or otherwise) from yourselves since before the installation date. Maybe try 07834 218432, this is the ONLY number to get me on and it's in my possession 24/7!

Please could you contact our office as soon as possible and ask directly for Libby, who is overseeing this matter personally. We want to arrange the required remedial works immediately and ensure everything is completed properly, including the roof issue and the outstanding internal works.

Thank you for installing our new boiler and radiators yesterday. Tom and his team arrived bang on time and immediately got to work. They were well organised very hard working and professional. They never stopped working for over seven hours without a break- a credit to them- a rare thing to see these days! The weather was atrocious but they carried on regardless.
The new heating system is lovely- we are enjoying the warmth and copious amounts of hot water.
We just need the remedial work done but your company have kept us well informed and everyone has been very friendly and helpful. Once again, thank you

Had a new boiler installed on 22 of January 2026 the guys who did the job arrived at 7.30am on the dot as previously advised and immediately set to work Tom and his team where organised and efficient can’t fault them carried out the job and left it tidy and in good condition WELL SATISFIED 👌🏿

Had new boiler and radiators fitted by Ian, chris,daz and the one who came and removed the boiler and gas wall heaters, fantastic job done by the best group of workmen, couldnt have asked for a better team, the work they did was top notch 100%, they did a brilliant job and now i have a lovely warm home and very hot water, thank lads once again.
