AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Paperwork was missed throughout the process, constant back and forth on paperwork that had already been signed multiple times. Requests that were irreverent to the situation.
The other lawyer who was helping on the matter even stated to me how incompetent this company is and that the choice I had made was extremely poor in instructing them to work on my behalf. Now 8 months after the matter has been settled I have just received an email demanding more funds!
Company needs serious investigation into their processes and their staffs professionalism!

Thanks Sam, we are disappointed to read your review, particularly as it does not fairly reflect the nature of the transaction or the steps required to complete it.
This was not a straightforward single transfer. It involved separate transactions, different parties and lender requirements, together with documentation that needed to be completed accurately and in the correct sequence. In those circumstances, it was necessary to obtain, check and, where required, reissue documentation. That is not duplication for its own sake, it is part of ensuring that the legal and lender requirements are met correctly.
The other solicitor referred to in your review was not acting as an additional adviser for you. They represented another party to the wider arrangements and were advancing that party’s position. We are unable to comment further publicly, but their role should not be characterised as independent assistance or an assessment of our work.
There were also occasions when we were awaiting information, documents or instructions before we could progress particular steps. We appreciate that this may have felt frustrating, but we cannot safely proceed without the necessary responses and signed documentation.
The timing you refer to after completion relates to post-completion registration processes and the need to protect the lender’s position while matters remain with the Land Registry. Land Registry timescales are outside our control. Any subsequent request for funds would have been made only in relation to a legitimate outstanding cost or requirement on the file, not arbitrarily.
We take feedback seriously and would be happy to review any specific concern through our formal complaints process. However, we do not accept the allegation that the firm was incompetent or that the matter was handled without professionalism.
In light of the above, we would ask that you reconsider and remove or amend this review, as it presents an incomplete and misleading account of a complex matter. We remain willing to discuss the position with you directly and provide a full explanation from the file.

Sophie and Rosie have been fantastic from the get go. They cover everything and take as many questions you possibly have. Your kept in the loop and they provide evidence & proof of what is happening and why things take time.
I would recommend them 100% to any first time buyer.

Considerably unprofessional, disrespectful, inconsistent and untrustworthy
I wrote a review whilst I was going through the process, as I felt it was important for others to know the appalling experience both my partner and I were having. Now that we have completed the process, 8 months later, I feel it necessary to write yet another review. After all, I did get automated emails from Bespoke Law Services actively encouraging me to leave a review, and so I will do exactly that and try not to repeat anything I have mentioned in my first review.
Bespoke Law Services are lacking.
They are lacking in many things, but what is most apparent to me is the lack of respect, professionalism, speed, and integrity.
I mentioned before how they had gotten my partner's name wrong on important documentation, including the draft contracts, and this got even worse. Towards the end, they addressed us as 'Georgie' and 'Sam', which led us to ask who this 'Sam' character was, as I was buying the property with 'Mitchell'. They, of course, stuck their tales between their legs and did not even bother to acknowledge our continued questioning about who this person was and where they had gotten such a mix-up from. It honestly fits the theme of them not caring or having to put effort into anything they do.
I want to acknowledge the replies they offer to clients/customers who review them in a negative way. Reading just a few goes to show the lack of integrity, professionalism, and pride they have as a company, and I am sorry for those who have suffered as we have.

1. ''Blimey Paul, bit harsh! We have feelings to! We hear you though, we offer our best estimated costs and then anything additional yes it gets added on. But, only with your approval from the detailed legal report. And not until you have agreed to it and duly signed it. Something must have gone wrong here, we don't know how though as we can't move forward without your signed agreement. Can you contact the office at your earliest convenience and we promise we can sort this out for you. We still want to be friends!! Thanks''
2. ''Thanks Larina, we are more than disappointed to read the review. We understand you found posting the original documents annoying. We even stayed late and kept our office open especially for you so you could go on your cruise. We are just gutted!!!''
3. ''No worries Joseph, we are ready and waiting but you don't appear on our records. Are you sure you have the right conveyancing firm? Let us know, we are so ready you wouldn't believe it!!''

These are just a few listed, and there are more if you look yourself. Can't wait to see what my reply might be from this review.
I therefore do not recommend them, as they will ruin the buying process for you, and completely take away all joy, especially if you are a first-time buyer.
There is much more I could say about how they are lacking, but I don't want to write an essay. Just know that I do not recommend them, and to save yourself time, effort, sanity, and overall happiness, you should not give them business.
I have reviewed another solicitor on my profile, who I would highly recommend, as I do not only leave negative reviews, just ones that I believe will be helpful to others, and ones where I hope a business will take a look at their current way of working and strive to fix this.

Whilst we would, of course, have preferred a different rating, we are grateful for all feedback and note that, taken together, your contributions now leave us with a combined total of two stars rather than one.
Firstly, we would like to offer a genuine apology for the occasions on which names were incorrectly referenced during the transaction. There is no excuse for this, and we fully accept that this should not have happened. We appreciate how frustrating this must have been and are sorry for the confusion caused.
We also acknowledge that the transaction took considerably longer than any of us would have wished. As is often the case in conveyancing, progress was dependent upon a number of third parties, including other solicitors, mortgage lenders, management companies and search providers. Whilst this does not lessen the frustration experienced by clients, it does provide some context to the timescales involved.
We are naturally disappointed by some of the broader conclusions reached in your review. During the same period, thousands of clients successfully completed their transactions with us, the vast majority without issue and many taking the time to leave positive feedback regarding the service they received. We fully accept that your experience fell below your expectations, but we do not accept that it is representative of every client journey undertaken by the firm.
As for our review responses, we appreciate that our style will not appeal to everyone. Our intention has always been to respond as human beings rather than with generic corporate templates. Some clients enjoy the lighter tone, others clearly do not. We respect both views.
Ultimately, despite the frustrations encountered, we are pleased that your purchase completed successfully and that you are now settled into your new home. We genuinely wish you both every happiness there for many years to come.

I had not heard of Bespoke Law but was enticed by a proactive communication from their new business colleague.
The format is personal, a named solicitor and assistant, they were always available and responded to calls and emails swiftly.
Beyond this they have taken out the time delays so often experienced by gathering all required information even down to a signed contract held to order, we were ready to exchange in 3 weeks.
Very thorough and detailed with no gapping holes of advice.
We were looked after by Lillian Fisher and Ella Penny, both were beyond expectation in a world of mediocre service.

Laura Guy recently handled my house sale and I have no hesitation in recommending her services. Knowledgeable, professional & friendly company
The team seemed very professional but also very friendly, especially over the phone. They were always very happy to explain things via email when needed and we felt like they were the more proactive out of our solicitors and the seller's solicitors. The team seemed very knowledgeable and we didn't get the dreaded "dealing with solicitors" feeling! Would definitely recommend them to anyone buying or selling as they were also very decently priced. Our buying process did take a while (around 5 months) despite no chain, however this was due to the seller's solicitors and not the Bespoke Law Services team.

Second time using Bespoke Law Services, first was a purchase, this time was a sale and corresponding purchase. In a long drawn out process, as it entailed a purchase of a new build property where finished dates were constantly pushed back, Joe and his assistants made a very stressful time a lot easier for us. Huge recommendation for Sophie and Rosie, who dealt with both a sale and purchase for me. After being the in the conveyancing/financial sector myself i am one of those annoying clients who knows the process and thus tries to pre-empt delays etc so all paperwork was completed and returned asap. Initially everything was quiet and i was surprised by the little contact, but once we got to the crucial stage Sophie really came into her own, highlighting all of the legalities to protect us from any risk despite the vendors solicitor being a blocker at every turn. Professional and personable which i loved, it's so nice to actually build rapport with someone nowadays with everything being digital. Sale and purchase completed 14 weeks from instruction despite the blockers we faced, ladies you made a really stressful time that bit easier thank you would recommend 100%.

Solicitor Christine was professionally negligent and ensured this was an awful experience for me to the point I’ve had to get Legal Ombudsman involved. Their complaints department is also a joke, taking no responsibility whatsoever and passing the blame. Do not recommend.

We are sorry to read your review and regret that you remain dissatisfied with aspects of the transaction.
As outlined within our formal response, this matter involved a complex leasehold purchase with a share of freehold, requiring documentation and identification from multiple co-freeholders, together with additional legal requirements surrounding a Power of Attorney. These factors unfortunately impacted overall timescales.
We also understand concerns were raised regarding Forces Help to Buy funds. However, the relevant documentation and contact details required to progress this aspect were not provided to us until later in the transaction, despite earlier requests for related information.
Whilst we appreciate your frustrations, we do not agree that the review fully reflects the complexity of the matter or the efforts made throughout to progress the transaction and assist wherever possible.
