I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the unprofessional conduct of Besser&Co Real Estate Agency. I had booked inspections for a rental unit on five separate times , only to have them canceled without any prior notification. This lack of communication and disregard for my time and energy is absolutely ridiculous.

I cannot emphasize enough how much this experience has wasted my valuable time and energy. Each time I made arrangements to view the property, I had to adjust my schedule and make necessary arrangements, only to be left hanging without any explanation or apology. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially from a reputed real estate agency like Besser&Co.

Not only did Besser&Co fail to inform me about the cancellations, but they also showed a complete lack of respect for my commitment and interest in renting the unit. It is disheartening to see such a disregard for potential tenants who are genuinely interested in their properties.

Besser&Co, located at Level 2, 102-104 Toorak Road South Yarra, has left me feeling frustrated, upset, and questioning their reliability and integrity. I expected better from a professional agency that claims to provide quality service.

I strongly advise anyone considering renting through Besser&Co to think twice before proceeding. Their lack of professionalism and failure to communicate effectively have proven to be major drawbacks in my experience. I hope this review serves as a warning to others and encourages Besser&Co to improve their customer service and respect for their clients' time.

Overall, I am extremely upset and disappointed with the way Besser&Co Real Estate Agency handled my rental inspection bookings. They wasted my time, energy, and left me feeling frustrated. I would not recommend their services based on my personal experience.

Besser + Co are made up of a great team of professionals, led by Dion Besser, that are totally dedicated to the task at hand and do that little bit more to ensure complete satisfaction in the service delivery process.

Like all rental agency experiences, it depends which rental agent is your point of contact. Working with Ella F from Besser was fantastic - wish she was our agent throughout. Empathy and strong communication are her strengths. Had mixed experiences from the rest of the team.

I have rented a property through Besser & Co for the last 3.5 years. The Besser&Co team have been fantastic, and in particular, my main contact - Ella Frankiewicz.

From lease commencement to completion, Ella has been there when I have needed assistance. Ella is an awesome property manager and a people leader. She is friendly, responsive and knows her stuff!

Feel comfortable and supported as a tenant when you lease through this team.

Thank you Dion and team. We achieved a great result. Exceeded our expectations. The whole process was very professional. Communication and feedback throughout the campaign was top notch!

Received a phone call from Hank, who was very keen to organize movement into prospective rental property asap.

But the offer to lease was immediately rescinded, when I asked about flexibility to arrange payment of bond and first month's rent by next week - during my next pay cycle (rather than the noted 24-48hrs and based on past flexibility precedents of previous real estate agents). He quite rudely and unprofessionally asked me verbatim "don't you have enough money or any savings in your bank account?" and asked for "a copy of your bank account statement so I can see how much money you have?" before proceeding to note that he felt it necessary to move onto other prospective tenant applications, unsatisfied by my amended proffer to make funds available by Friday - literally 2 days away.

I understand the need to ensure prospective tenants have financial liquidity, in order to be able to meet rental obligations. But the very clearly unreasonable expectations and specific nature of his questions, particularly to obtain my bank statement just to "see how much money (I) have," represents a gross misuse and abuse of the document's intended purpose. Particularly as I had already provided other documentation such as my previous 3 payslips and employment contract.

Never have I ever been asked such a question in my entire history of renting. And the fact that he proceeded to label his fellow Besser & Co agents as "desperate" for previously offering payment flexibility, just goes to show what a truly abhorrent character of a person "Mr" Hank is. What makes everything even more baffling, is that he also noted that once payment is received and keys are handed over, it does not matter when I actually move in - in which case why bother hassling the prospective tenant about early move-in dates in the first place?

I was really looking forward to renting this particular apartment for various reasons. But this was hands-down the absolute worst, customer service and real estate agent experience I've ever had and hope no-else ever has the misfortune of ever being subjected to. In hindsight, I feel thankful for having dodged a bullet there and possibly being left to deal with this person on a day-to-day basis. What a nightmare that would be.

We had a great experience with Besser&Co over the 5 years we had tenancy. If we had an issue, no matter how large or small, it was addressed efficiently. We always appreciated the down to earth and responsive approach of the people who work for the company. Our end of tenancy went smoothly and without a hitch. Thanks Dion, Marcel and Aaron

I have purchased an apartment through Besser +CO Estate Agents .I have dealt with Dion Besser, he was genuinely helpful through the buying process. We had a few issues which he helped us with, to solve our problems.
