I used them for my team last year with excellent results. This time around it wasn’t so good. Not one photo could be used out of the bunch.

All the photos looks stunning. Ai however changed the sunspot on my face into a mole on some of the photos.

I decided to try BetterShot for professional headshots for my LinkedIn profile. The process itself was quick and easy, and the turnaround time was fast, which I appreciated. However, the final results were mixed and not as accurate as I had hoped.

Several of the generated photos clearly looked AI-generated, with noticeable issues around facial proportions, lighting, and how the head aligned with the shoulders and body. In some images the proportions felt unnatural, which made the photos look less realistic.

Another concern was accuracy. Some photos included neck tattoos and full sleeve arm tattoos, which I do not have. I do have a single chest tattoo, but it would only be visible in something like a tank top or a deep V-neck shirt. Seeing tattoos added in places that don’t exist was surprising and made those images unusable.

To be fair, a few of the photos were usable and I was able to find one that I will likely use, but the overall quality and consistency varied quite a bit.

Overall, the service has potential and the concept is great, but the AI generation could use improvement in terms of realism and accurately reflecting the person being photographed.

I was very pleased with my experience. 10/10

The pictures came out great!! And it was fast and an easy process.

Bettershot does a great job of explaining the process BEFORE you buy. Over a third of the 72 (!) initial shots provided were good enough to "favorite" and ask my friends to vote on -- pretty amazing, especially considering that I didn't give the tool great photos to begin with.

I've done these twice now: back in early 2024 and just now in late 2025. The AI software has improved dramatically! The new photos look much more realistic. Thanks!

I don't think that Bettershot could have made the process any easier. I was agonizing over updated headshots for my website but was resisting the rigamarole of hair, makeup, photo shoot - I was not presently for the time and expense. I think I knocked this out in about 15 minutes and 96 images for $35? It's bonkers.

amazing. a few were far off from my face but honestly the ones that looked like me, they were amaizing.

The program completely changed my face! Some of the shots I have puffier cheeks, others my face is super slender...but very, very few actually look like me! I was hoping for a professional picture I could use for work, but I will have to take one myself.

Love the quick response time. Thank you. Out of 72 shots, only around 6 was useable. The rest didn’t look anything like the person.

Created profile pics for my college freshman son's LinkedIn page. Results were amazing - very accurate and professional rendering in a variety of settings - great value.

Very easy and fast! And they were gracious and allowed me to redo my headshots as I messed up the first time - user error. Thank you!
