I was delighted to recieve my order, which was a vintage wooden shrine/mandir with glass windows about two and a half weeks ago. This turned to disappointment as it was damaged on arrival.
I wrote to Birch & Yarn with a photo explaining this and suggested they could send a new piece of glass or a discount so I could get it fixed myself.

I haven’t heard anything back from them yet.

When I purchased the piece the photo showed no sign of a broken window.
It arrived in very flimsy packaging so I am not surprised it suffered damage along the way.

I love the look of things on their website but will not make another purchase as I have lost faith in them.

Item purchased (garden parasol) not as described in listing. It’s title was Pink and Red Parasol, and the primary photograph corresponded. In reality it was entirely bright pink.
Item was returned, but owner refused to reimburse the return costs.The item description has since, I note, been altered accordingly.
Personally, I am not happy to buy from a company I cannot trust to list their products correctly, or acknowledge their mistakes when made.

Very happy with my items. Nice packaging inside. Will use again.

Still waiting for order to arrive, not follow up e mail.

Absolutely fantastic customer service; really prompt replies to all my enquiries and they did exactly what they did they would and did it swiftly. I love the bench that I purchased. It is a welcome addition to the lounge and a real talking point. Would highly recommend this company for both these reasons.

The rug came when it said and looks lovely in my lounge. The dog approves as well!

We had an awful experience with this company. Our furniture arrived on a pallet, which the delivery company then dumped outside our house. I contacted Birch and Yarn via its online chat service because no-one was picking up the phone. I informed them of the situation and to ask them to arrange for the pallet to be picked up. The owner agreed explaining that the pallet is the delivery company’s responsibility. I’ve heard nothing since and the pallet remains in my front garden (and has been for the past week)

I called up Birch and Yarn and got through to a lady, who first refused to accept what the owner has said (that it is the delivery company’s responsibility). After a lot of toing and froing, she finally agreed to contact the owner (based in India). After speaking with the owner, she contacted me to explain that the owner will be email me directly to resolve the issue.

It has been just over a week and still nothing, despite numerous attempts to contact me them.

I’d think twice about ordering furniture from this company because the moment you have an issue, it will unlikely be resolved. They don’t have customer service (I asked); the owner is based in India and is tardy, and the lady who takes calls is incompetent. There are plenty of other companies who sell similar furniture, with a more trustworthy service. I regret giving them my custom.

Birch and Yarn were very helpful when I needed to make contact. Product arrived well packaged and as it appeared on the site.

Package took a while to arrive although the delivery charge was unusually high £6. The rug didn’t have the same colours as the one pictured. It was quite different actually. And if I knew that’s what I was gonna receive, I wouldn’t have ordered it. The returns is not free as you have to pay for it, so it I’d have to pay to return a product that didn’t arrive as described. Not worth it. So I’m left with an unwanted product that doesn’t suit my living room.

I bought 2 of these to put on my dressing table. They are perfect. I am pleased my purchase will support artisans in Jaipur. They arrived very well packed and sooner than I expected
