A pleasure opening the account.
After trying and failing to open a savings account with several 'Name' finance houses, where the websites were tricky to navigate, I opened a 1 year fixed rate bond with Birmingham Bank in 15 minutes. Easy to open the account. No horrible warnings from my bank RBS when I tried to pay into the Birmingham account. It was a pleasure to deal with. A great start!
