If -10 were an option, I’d use it. I ordered a “sci-fi l blind date with a BOOK for my friend. It took over 6 weeks to arrive. When it did, it was ONE chapter of a Nicholas Sparks novel, The Choice. Not a book, and not sci-fi. Customer service said they “checked with the warehouse and sent what I ordered”. They offered me a whopping $2 refund. This site is a scam, and a joke. Do not waste your money.

Is there a HALF STAR?? Complete garbage as per the other reviews on here! When I contacted the company they offered me a $3 refund. When I said I wanted a complete refund that is promised on their website, they offered me a $5 refund. lollllll. Complete scam. $26 wasted!! I will never order again before checking Trustpilot!!!

First of all, they didn’t ship my package when they said they did. It was a fake spammy tracking link that made it look like it originated in the US. Then when I contacted them 3 weeks later, they shipped the next day from China and gave me new tracking info. When I get it, it’s not even what I ordered because there are no books in the “blind date with a book”. I paid $47 for a couple highlighters and some stickers that look like they got printed off a low quality inkjet printer. Not even $5 worth of product from the dollar store. They won’t refund me unless I pay to ship back to China which would cost $24. Now I’m having to dispute through my credit card company. I would never in a million years touch this company again with a 10 foot pole.

Honestly, I'm giving it less than one star....

I'm so saddened and disappointed, they're advertising works wonders, and yet, they basically stole $30 bucks from me. I'm in the process of getting it back. LIKE WHAT'S THE POINT?!? Why LIE about a BOOK for crying out loud!

The advertisements they flooded social media with are misleading and downright criminal. They didn't even bother dressing the "booklet" (if you can call it that) up as they'd advertised. They sent me some mess by Nicholas Sparks 🙄, someone I've always avoided reading. But that's neither here nor there.

I mean, $30 for a BOOKLET, 5 stickers and a pen!!!! This has to be a joke! Goodness gracious, the SparkNotes of the particular title they sent, would have been better! I honestly can't believe the sheer audacity of their thievery!

I'll be fighting for my refund. Y'all beware of BIZARTE !!!!!

Blind Date with a Book is a complete scam. I bought one for myself and another as a gift, but neither included actual books. Instead, they were pamphlets containing just a few chapters. Despite paying for express shipping, it took an entire month to arrive. When I complained to the company, their solution was to suggest regifting the item or offering a measly $4 as compensation.

This is a total scam. I didn't get a book. I got a few pages stappled together. When I reached out to the company they said the best they could do was a $7 refund. I paid close to $30. That's unacceptable. I have filed a dispute with my bank.

I ordered 2 "blind date with a book" , it was more like 2 pamflets that arrived. I think that 1 sentence off Donald trump is longer then what was written in the "books" that arrived. They were both by the same author...
Delivery took over a month...
Do not spend your money here, better to go to a library!!!

I wish I had seen the reviews before ordering. It was spur of the moment gift idea and thought it would be nice for my sister. It took a month to receive the Nicolas Sparks pamphlet and cheap highlighter and stickers I got. I ordered two and the second is still not here. For what I spent, I was at least expecting an actual book. Very disappointing and feeling foolish for spending the money.

first time in my life I’ve been scammed, I’m usually so careful. Do not purchase from these people, the quality of the “books” I received and paid $40 for were basically the first chapter of two photocopied pamphlets of Nicholas sparks books and some random crappy stickers. Disgusting! Be smart, bypass these people completely!

Total scam! I'm currently arguing for a refund of my $29 with their customer service who has the AUDACITY to try to haggle with me. Their highest offer? $12. After waiting almost 2 months for a PAMPHLET OF THE LAST SONG (not even the right genre), this needs to be shut down immediately.

Waited more than 1 month for the package "blind date with a book". What I got was a cheap paper with a pen and some sticker. The book is not even there! It cost me 30USD, the package I received stated 10USD for that piece of garbage. The support service told me that that was what I order and they are not willing to refund me.
The tracking number origin was for USA and the package I received came for China.

Do not buy from this company. They reaped me off. I paid $96.66 canadian for 3 “blind date with a book” as a Christmas gift to myself in November .The package took weeks and only got to me today January 8th only to get a few crappy stickers and even crappier pens and no books. I’ve messaged customer service but have not gotten any response.

Scammer. Blind date with a book? More like a pamphlet (even the wrong genre lol) I’ll be disputing the bank charge.

I wish I would have done some research on this before purchasing anything. Wish I could rate a zero! Total scam! I couldn't even return the item because they delay delivery long enough to pass the 30 day window per the returning policy. This was a gift and The $5 DD gift card was worth more than the garbage they sent. Stay away. Don't waste your money. How can people get away with this?

I ordered 2 “blind date with a book” just before Thanksgiving, still have not received them. Emailed the company and got “we can’t control logistics” Package showing shipping from Italy, however today I received a package from Geathers Fotty that were definitely not my books. My credit card company is aware and working to get my money back. $45 for some cheap crap, buyer beware when ordering. I’m sending the package back return to sender refused package.

Should have read these detailed reviews before ordering. I was delivered dollar store junk for 50.00. Disappointed and livid. What a joke.

Do not order any blind date with a book. This is a complete scam. You receive a pamphlet that is a fake copy of a few pages of a book.

After waiting over a month for my 3 Blind Date with a Book orders, I finally got them in, to find out they are 8 page book pamphlets. Not an entire book as promised. I even reached out prevto confirm full books were being shipped. Very shady company.
Looking now how to get my money back/ file a claim with my cc company to return my money.
How disappointing.

Like the first two reviews I read, I had the exact same experience. I ordered a dark romance and horror "blind date with a book" for Christmas gifts. I also received tracking from Italy, then China. When I argued with the customer service bot, and explained that I paid for expedited shipping, they told me they could not control the logistics. I argued that they cannot charge for 5 to 10 day shipping if they can't control the logistics. I still haven't received my 2nd "book". My order was placed November 30th. I have photos I would love to add of the garbage merchandise I received. A Nicholas Sparks pamphlet, generic stickers and a cardboard bookmark. Something you would expect to pay $5 for at a discount store.

SCAM!!!! It has been over 40 days and I still have not received my books. Out $45. I requested my money back and they refused due to the books are in transit to me…….they have been in transit this whole time. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!
