A great sauna experience with beautiful views over the swimming lake.

Sauna was cosy but good seating dpace. Easy to access and great view with large windows.
All wonderful!

This really was a hidden countryside delight, what a fabulous experience.
Lovely to meet and chat with Alan who advised us on how to get the best from this experience. Will definitely enjoy this private booking again.

We went to the pop up black box sauna at Cheltenham Lido on a friday night as an end of January treat: it was fab
Beautifully warm
and somehow you are compelled to plunge in the ice bath too and then back to warm up again and on repeat.
The twinkling lights and lovely astro underfoot all contributed to the ambience

I have come to the Nordic experiences 3 times over the past two winter months and each time has been really fun and sociable, leaving us all refreshed in such a good mood. The saunas have picture windows overlooking the pool and the dipping baths are icy but manageable. Overall a good sense of camaraderie - Would highly recommend.

My wife and I went to the Black Box sauna at Cheltenham lido in mid-January 26.
The booking process was very clear, the organisation on the day was first class, and the sauna facilities were excellent.
I'd recommend the Black Box experience to anyone who's keen on cold water swimming and saunas.

Myself and a friend loved our experience. It was a very chilly sunny day. We started with a pool dip (temp. 1.6 c) with lifeguards present, then after warming-up a little entered the sauna, which was heaven. Following that we braved the ice baths for the complete experience! The facilities were clean and well maintained, and we appreciated the fake grass to warm our feet and plenty of hooks in the changing area to hang our towels etc. It felt like a real treat after the madness of Christmas.

Brilliant Nordic Spa experience. Had a lovely gathering with fiends for my birthday. Gorgeous sauna and plunge baths. Excellent 😃

We treated ourselves to this at the Lido and oh my word it was worth it. We absolutely loved it. So beautifully hot and then you felt compelled to try the ice bath too. A great idea. Will definitely go again.

Fabulous experience was lovely to have sauna then ice bath with the added bonus of a dip in 4 degrees Cheltenham lido swimming pool. Party of 4 all loved it would definitely recommend and would do again!

Loved it. The 2 pop up saunas were great really hot and plunge pools were lovely.

Went to the sauna based at Cheltenham lido today. It was a beautiful day, sunny weather, the window in the sauna showed the lido off to best effect. The saunas are arranged around a quadrangle, with shelter to change and keep towels dry, nice AstroTurf under your feet. The saunas were lovely and hot, and both the plunge tubs and the pool provided a nice easy of cooling down. It was awesome

Absolutely loved our experience in the sauna. It was so lovely and warm after we had been for a swim in the lake. Such a great idea.

Black box sauna have created a lovely space to rest, relax and receive the benefits of a sauna in a location that would not otherwise be able to facilitate this service

We love the Black Box sauna at Dragons Gate where we wild swim. It really makes it more bearable to swim all year round and the benefits of the sauna are many. A few hours out of our day leaves us feeling like we've had a holiday. If only we lived closer to come every week!

As a Scandinavian, living in the UK countryside I miss my traditional wood burning sauna so very much. When I found a Black Box sauna right at my doorstep I was over the moon. The sauna is beautifully made, with a proper Finnish
wood burner. These guys clearly have an eye for detail and have created a wonderful product that I will be happy to make use of again.

Beautifully designed and crafted sauna. Clean and well laid out to enjoy the view out of the rolling Herefordshire countryside. The perfect addition to a wild swim.

We did a morning wild swim and sauna in Garway and it was a delightful misty morning. The quality of the sauna was great, wood fired, very good interiors and very helpful and informative guidance - would definitely do again!
