Delayed delivery
The quality of the product was excellent however there was a significant delay in receiving the order from the date the order was placed. I had ordered multiple items and the full order was delayed. It was difficult to get an ETA as I had reached out several times and there was no specific date provided. It was a moving target. The customer service people I dealt with were extremely polite and understanding but didn’t have any concrete information for the updated delivery

We normally ship orders shortly after they’re placed, but occasionally unexpected circumstances can result in a longer processing time than usual. We’re sorry your order was one of those exceptions and that we kept you waiting.
We’re always working to get orders out as quickly as possible, and we really appreciate your patience and feedback.

100% Sweater / 50% vest
I really love the sweater I got, it fits perfectly and it's super comfortable. I have an issue with the HNIC vest I got where the emblem wasn't the best quality. I washed it and both front and back emblems fell completely off. I had to glue it back on, I was disappointed to see that.

Respuesta de Black Maple Trading Company
We’re glad to hear you’re loving the sweater and that the fit and comfort were just right. We’re sorry to hear that you had a problem with the HNIC vest. That’s certainly not the quality we want our customers to receive.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we’d be happy to look into this further if you reach out to us at info@blackmapletrading.com.

I wasn’t happy that the sizes were not…
I wasn’t happy that the sizes were not accurate and getting a refund or exchange was so convoluted as to be not worth bothering. Will not be ordering again.
16 de septiembre de 2026
Respuesta de Black Maple Trading Company
We’re sorry to hear you had difficulty with the sizing and found our exchange process complicated. Our size charts are accurate, but since unisex sizing can vary a bit, we recommend taking a garment that fits you well, laying it flat, and measuring it from armpit to armpit, then comparing that measurement to our size chart to find the best match.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the exchange process and will certainly take it into consideration as we continue to improve.
