Blackmoor is one of very few Nurseries in the UK offering gardeners the opportunity to buy fruit plants direct from our Nursery. Blackmoor Nurseries is part of Blackmoor Estate in Hampshire which has been run by the Selborne family for several generations. At Blackmoor we are very proud about our heritage and history, and we’re absolutely passionate about our fruit plants. We have been growing them at our Hampshire based estate for over 100 years. All of our staff have been trained to the highest level in both the growing and packing of our plants and we all strive to produce top quality fruit trees and soft fruit plants. All orders are subject to rigorous quality tests at every stage of growth, and throughout the processes of lifting to packing. Roots are soaked and covered before shipping which means that each plant reaches the customer in prime condition. Our customer service team are all Blackmoor Nursery people and are happy to provide expert advice either by phone or email. They are industry experts and are always happy to share their knowledge and tips about how to get the very best from growing fruit.

Splendidly healthy, very reasonably priced young fig trees arrived at warp speed, well packaged and in excellent condition. I agree with the other accolades; this is a great place to buy fruit trees, and I shall be back for more!

GOOD EXPERIENCE
Good-sized, healthy apple tree on M26 rootstock. Arrived a few days after ordering. Well packaged and easy to handle. Had shopped around online and am happy I chose Blackmoor over other suppliers. Shame they didn't have cordon trees in stock, or I would have placed an order for some of those too.

Disappointing order of gift vouchers
ordered vouchers online as a birthday present expecting the vouchers in the post (for which we paid £1.70). Vouchers were delivered by email a week later after the birthday.
I emailed Blackmoor when I had not received the vouchers in time for the birthday and was called by a lady with a verbal apology. She blamed 'the new website'. No offer of compensation or refund of postage cost. We have ordered plants/trees before from Blackmoor with no problem - surely vouchers should be easy to get right.

I hope this message finds you well. I am so sorry to hear about the disappointing experience you had with your recent order for gift vouchers. I understand how frustrating it must have been to not receive them in time for the birthday, especially given your previous positive experiences with Blackmoor.
As Anne mentioned on the phone the problem occurred down to the timing of our new website going live. Our new site handles the Gift Vouchers in a different way. We needed to wait until the new site was live before we could issue your vouchers, but I completely agree that this should have been handled better.
Additionally, I would like to offer you a refund of the postage cost as a small gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience caused.

Fruit trees for a bare garden
I needed fruit trees for my rather bare garden, , so orderedthree eating pples, a dessert chery and a morello cherry..
All plants were availsable for collection quickly, and have proved to to be in vigorous health and well shapen. Such a contrast from often more expensive ones found in garden centres

Hello Blackmoor Plant People, I just wanted to thank you for the beautiful blueberry plants that I received earlier this week. Although one plastic pot was broken in transit, the plants themselves were in excellent condition and even the carton was unblemished so a mystery regarding the pot issue. The delivery company were also excellent and within the advised timeframe.
I have to say that initially I was nervous about ordering online as some couriers can be heavy handed and cavalier with their handling of goods in transit, but this was indeed not the case here. I cannot believe how healthy and beautifully shaped the bushes are, and I will be planting them into their 60 litre containers on Friday.
In closing, I would not hesitate to recommend you 100% to anyone looking to buy plants online from Blackmoor.
