Been a fan of Black Sheep beers for a while now, have done the excellent brewery tour and, yes, I even bought a t-shirt.
After contacting the brewery about an issue with one of the beer’s in my advent box, I was impressed with how they treated me as a valued customer.
So thank you Karen for turning my disappointment into delight!

Absolutely shocking customer service… taken my money and not delivered my goods, emails ignored… passed around on the phone. Will be reporting to trading standards SHOCKING AVOID

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DONT SEND YOU ANYTHING! THEY DONT ANSWER EMAILS OR PHONE CALLS. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

Advent calendar 2024... disappointed. No glass, and many duplicates for £65. There was one exclusive dark ale I was looking forward to trying and there wasn't even one in my box (The Fabled Riggwelter Cherry & Cacao Dark Ale x Japas Cervejaria). What kind of consistency is that for customers (others have reported having it), not sure if there was a mistake with mine or bad luck, I got two snowflakes though,.yippee. Beers are pretty average taste wise as well, nothing exciting. Wouldn't recommend.

I placed an order 3 weeks ago which has still not been delivered . I have had no confirmation of order and no order or courier updates . Payment was taken immediately. The online team do not answer the phone . I have tried to contact other departments within the company but they are unable to assist me .
Shocking service and I intend to report to trading standards .

Great bitter and branding, I love both, but focus on diversity of beers forgetting their base competitive strength with limited opportunities to purchase the bitter. The website forces you to accept cookie's if you want to purchase anything in contravention to European regulations. Detested for same management after bankruptcy after leaving local creditors with losses is a sad reflection of priorities.

The brewery tour is well worth a visit when in and around the Masham
aria. The tour lasts about an hour with interesting facts and tales from tour guide Alan. His insight into the trade mixed with interesting history about the brewery and the family business are really worth the trip. The ticket pricing is really good value and includes a chance to sample from the bar which also offers snacks and meals to make for a really worthwhile visit. Good parking is available on site at no extra charge. I agree with an earlier reviewer that’s it’s a good tour for children who can sit still and listen well. Thoroughly
enjoyable and highly recommended.

Fascinating tour lasting approx 1 hour. Tour led by a knowledgeable member of staff with anecdotes and facts. Also a video about the family history and history of the site. Great atmosphere and I would say suitable for kids who can listen!!!! Option of three 1/3 beer tasters at the end of the tour really made it excellent value. Oh..they do teas and coffee too!!

A fabulous afternoon was spent at the Black Sheep Brewey yesterday (Sat 25th May). We booked ourselves onto their brewery tour and were lucky enough to be shown round by Alan who has been in the trade for 60 years and knows everything there is to know about brewing. The history (& the future) of Black Sheep Brewery is absolutely fascinating and was capped off with tasting session in the brewery bar courtesy of the vouchers included in the very reasonable tour price. I’ve always liked Black Sheep beers anyway, but this experience gave them a whole new dimension…and gave me a reason to spend a small fortune in their excellent gift shop! All in all excellent value for money at an excellent brewery run by excellent staff!

A great brewery tour with Alan who was informative and engaging throughout. He also came to chat to us afterwards in the bar whilst trying our three thirds. A lively atmosphere on a late Saturday afternoon, but still family friendly, we enjoyed staying for another drink or two. Would highly recommend a trip here if in Masham.

The brewery trip was excellent, Alan our guide was very knowledgeable and made it easy to understand all the stages of brewing and the processes involved. he added humour to the tour and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Booking the tour over the phone was very straightforward and the tour itself was excellent, with Alan a very interesting and informative tour guide.
Definitely recommend this.

Our guide Alan the history of the company it's methods of brewing and just the overall ability to answer any of the questions posed to him.
The visitor center is excellent just a tad pricey.

We called into the Black Sheep Brewery for a late lunch today, and what a delightful time we had. We were well looked after by a team of attentive and friendly staff, and were served with delicious food and fabulous ale. Before we departed we made a good few liquid purchases in the shop, having been most ably assisted by shop staff in our choices. All in all a grand day out. Highly recommended - for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian diners - if you are in the Masham area.

We were a pre-booked group of 14 and we found the service to be excellent, the food to be of a high quality and the service to be efficient and friendly. We had a brilliant time and will be back. Thankyou to all the team x

Was greeted by a wonderful smell as we approached the brewery in Masham. A lovely hoppy mash was in progress and steaming into the cold Yorkshire air.
Enjoyed a couple of perfect 10 out of 10 cask beers. The new Blonde and the new to me Respire. Both wonderful, tasty and refreshing — complemented the substantial sandwich lunch perfectly! A bargain T-shirt from the shop rounded off the visit.

Our guide was passionate about the place, its history and the great beer produced within.
