I have never seen a company as interested in staff welfare like Bluebird Care Shropshire. Birthday vouchers, Christmas goodies, flexible rota, good pay as well.

Good staff welfare

I have never seen a company as interested in staff welfare like Bluebird Care Shropshire. Birthday vouchers, Christmas goodies, flexible rota, good pay as well.

Lovely carers but poor communication from office for the frequent call changes. Carers are not given enough travel time between clients which leads to stress for both them and clients. Need to make staff feel more valued and listened to.

Bluebird makes Aunty chipper

We contracted Bluebird care to look after my aunt who lives alone with early onset dementia. My aunt had lost weight and was struggling with general housework . shopping, paying bills -- life in general. We visit once a week as we live ~80 miles away and had Bluebird come in 3 times a week. My aunt's health improved dramatically within three weeks and the Bluebird staff kept me informed of a multitude of problems which we sorted out together. While I am disgusted that an elderly woman who has paid taxes all her life has to pay for her care from her savings, I cannot fault Bluebird and their staff - they keep my aunt chipper
