I cannot fault my experience with Bluelight Consultancy one bit. Having access to their numerous resources, weekly webinars and experienced coaches has really propelled me through the lengthy Police recruitment process and into my local force. Whilst the cost seemed pretty high at first, I'd consider it a worthwhile investment if you want to pass first time with flying colours. You will have access to practical advice from ex coppers who have climbed to the highest ranks, and know the recruitment process inside out. Consider it an investment in your future and how badly you want to join the Police.

The experience of using blue light is amazing from start to finish! The help you receive from your 1-1 Coach as well as the webinars is quite literally some of the best stuff out there. I remember when I booked in my final interview I was stressed and anxious as to what it was about and what I was going to expect. Fast forward to the actual day I went in feeling confident and ready for what was ahead thanks to my fantastic coach!

I had an amazing experience with blue light, the webinars, 1-1’s with your coach (my coach was the lovely Andrea) were so helpful and informative and gave me the guidance I needed to improve consistently. Very reliable and supportive 1:1 coaching from a highly experienced former PC. They will provide you with all of the knowledge and support that you need to get into the Police. If you have the money and you really want to get into the Police then BlueLight is definitely worth it in my opinion.

After a call to find out more, I went ahead and made the investment to get what I can only say was some of the most valuable support to ensure I was in the best possible position to tackle the recruitment process.
I have to single out Richard Fisher whose support and advice was what made the difference, I can’t thank him enough for how prepared I felt after our one-to-one chats.

From point of enquiry to success at the final interview, Blue Light Consultancy were open and honest & their insights proved to be invaluable.

I began like everyone with an exploratory call with one of the BLC members of staff to not only gauge my requirements and what I expected from them but also for BLC to assess whether I would be a suitable candidate or not (if they don’t think they can help you, they will not take your money and run, trust me).

After being taken on as a client, I was given access to all of the relevant material that was so useful in helping me with my final interview. I was also allocated a personal tutor in Raj, whose knowledge & personable manner ensured I had all of the tools required for success in the police recruitment process at my disposal. Firstly, for those looking to learn how to answer questions in a structured way with one-to-one support, here's your best option.

I, for one, had two weeks to prepare for my Day 2 assessment for the Met Police, and I managed to learn a structure that not only boosts your confidence but also helps you formulate responses to any situation you’ve encountered in life. Thanks to Bluelightconsultancy, I am no longer reliant on luck to hope for a question to be asked; I now have the tools to answer anything they throw at me.

This method that they teach you transforms a mere story into a powerful demonstration of your skills, values, and decision-making abilities, leaving no doubt about your suitability for the role.

For anything like role play for your desired Police service, it makes you have so much confidence that you can not only use it for role plays but for any situation that you may come across at work too.

Honestly, it's the best because they give you feedback suited to you, not just a general outline, but an outline to your needs and areas of improvement.

But remember what you put in is what you get out so PRACTICE!!!...

He really helped me enhance my answers and provide me with confidence. After failing my first interview, I had felt much more prepared going into the second and passed this time around.

I came to Bluelight quite late on in the process. This was because I'd managed to navigate the main recruitment process myself. However, it is complicated and because I was pursuing the DC route, I realised I needed some advice and help.

Bluelight were absolutely superb, I really don't believe I would of got through the recruitment process without them.
From first contact I was on a webinar 4 hours later, daunting at first but was soon put at ease by the friendly and approachable manner of the coaches.
Darren went above on beyond with his 121 coaching, even taking time out of a family emergency to honour an appointment I had with him - this was really appreciated.
Although Darren is easy to get along with, he gets the most out of you in the time you have together and wants the best outcome for his students so, if you've spent a lot of time working on something and it's not good enough, be prepared to be told it isn't good enough, he will say it straight and put you on the road to being your best.
Darren is a wealth of knowledge and has become something of role model to me in just the short time he spent coaching me.
So something I was extremely apprehensive about became something which I really enjoyed because of Bluelight giving me the tools and knowledge to tackle the application process with confidence and enthusiasm.
