I have had some cash invested with Ray for a number of years now and I have to commend his performance.
He was extremely helpful when I first met him (as are most when they are looking for your custom), but in the time since, he has continued being helpful and informative. He has been consistent with updates and been there when I have had questions, so overall I am very happy with the service.

Giving confidence to a first time investor
As a first time investor I was quite nervous to put my money into the hands of somebody I didn't really know. After my first meeting with Ray I immediately felt comfortable with him and knew he was looking out for my best interests. At no point did I feel pressured, in fact, Ray told me to take all the time I needed to collect my thoughts and come up with any questions I might have to ensure I was confident with my choices before I agreed to sign. Ray made sure I understood the potential risks and benefits and told me he was available to address any questions or concerns I might have in the future as well. Overall, I am very happy with my decision to invest with Bluestar and with Ray.

Bluestar AMG Malaysia engages good quality IFAs to deal with their investors.
My experience with Nicole Tong, Bluestar AMG Malaysia has been great. As an experience global investor myself, I'd say Nicole kept herself up to date with latest understanding on what's happening in the global economy, on what each major economy's government is doing to ensure their market being supported.
She gives regular updates on the global economy and explained how the market is reacting to the news so investors are kept in the know so we don't panic unnecessarily.
More importantly, she gives sound advice in investing under volatile conditions.
As at 30 June 2023 since my investment 23 Nov 2022, my returns as a percentage of my investment is up 36.04% ...

Honest, ProActive, Clients Best Interest in Mind
This year I was introduced to Rory van den Berg of Bluestar-AMG, as this company had merged with my previous financial advisor company. Rory pro-actively contacted me and asked for a video meeting to introduce himself and his company. He came to the meeting well prepared and had already thoroughly looked into my portfolio. It was the first time in 15 years, since starting my pension portfolio that I met a pro-active advisor and I could not be more happy. Although my portfolio is only small, Rory treated it with the importance and went above and beyond in explaining my pension portfolio. He provided great advice on a strategy to move forward, which in all honestly benefits me more that it benefits his company. Very refreshing to know I am now finally working with an advisor who is pro-active, honest and has my best interest in mind. I would highly recommend considering working with Rory if you are looking for a trustworthy, integer and honest investment advisor who is also incredibly knowledgeable and experienced. On top of that, Rory is simply a nice guy!
