I ordered the ‘Best Sellers’ pack, which is 6 jars of beans. One of the (glass) jars was smashed on arrival, so an immediate mess of leaking beans / juice / shards of glass to deal with, and to dry/clean the remaining jars. Luckily, no glass injuries occurred. I complained to the company and the response was a small refund (which was less than 1/6 of the cost of the 6 jars), with nothing by way of compensation for my inconvenience. I will be very unlikely to be placing any further orders with this company.

What a fantastic find this company is, honestly lovely product. I ate all the giant chickpeas straight from the jar. I'm obsessed at looking for ways of using beans now so looking forward to the arrival of the cookbook.

I would give 5 stars for the quality of the beans themselves, however this specific brand is sooo hard to open.

I can usually get brands such as el navaricco open by pouring hot water on the lid, but that doesn’t work with these ones! (Neither did banging the lid with a spoon or slapping the bottom with my hand). I managed to get some of the butter beans open by using hot water and then prying the lid with a knife, but this method has been unsuccessful with the chickpeas. I get that they need to be super tight for the freshness but maybe they could be a teeny bit less tight lol. Otherwise really good butter beans, I’m sure the chickpeas are good too if I could get to them.

Delicious, loved them, will be back for more.

They seemed to be really nice people to deal with. Friendly and helpful. They were extra busy following some great reviews in the Sunday papers but got in touch to apologise in advance for possible delays. Super product too!

Delicious beans arrive on time - ready for me to make wonderful simple suppers. Great recipes on the website for those nights where your mind is blank.

Placing the order was swift & straightforward. Products arrived very quickly (delivery via DPD - I was kept informed throughout and arrival time was accurate) and were well packed with easily recycled cardboard & no plastic.

The beans themselves are delicious, a totally different eating experience compared with the tinned beans I’m used to. I am working my way through some of the recipes listed on the website which has been brilliant: they’re really unusual, loads of inspo & delicious.

Customer service (I did have a query prior to placing order) was also excellent. A big thumbs up from me!

Edit: getting into the jars. The jars are very well sealed. I live alone, have arthritic fingers and nerve damage in one arm but I haven’t struggled. It’s definitely worth a Google as there are some helpful tips out there. I usually hold the jar upside down & tap the lid sharply / firmly - this breaks the vacuum seal.

Wow okay, these aren't just beans, it's a whole experience. Like my life is changed with these beans. I could live off these beans. It's bean all about these beans since I got the beans. If you know what I bean? All I can say is well done.

Delicious beans - so important for a plant-based diet!

Aside from beans of great quality, the response I have received for any queries, is excellent. For example, saying that I have difficulty in opening some of the jars (I am elderly and do not have a lot of strength in my fingers now) was met with a jar opener being included in my next order, which has solved the problem. It works really well on other jars too.

I've used beans before but only rarely but since using Bold Beans I eat them almost everyday and rarely buy meat now as I've been making so many delicious recipes.

It wasn't my intention to cut out meat and I do still eat it but if you're looking to cut it out these beans make it easier as they are so tasty.

These are delicious beans. Worth the extra cost

The beans are so different to the canned variety. Soft and sumptuous and the taste is much improved. I have used the bean stock in every meal and this has added to the flavour.
The packaging that the beans come in is effective but was difficult to get into (purchased online) but delivering was more of a faff as you need to be in to receive the parcel (I guess because of the dangers of breakage)
