The experience from boohoo, is hardwork. Next day delivery doesn't exist and refunds take longer than should. Customer service is an automated reply and doesn't exist.

Returned £310 worth of items, only £179 refunded. They maintain 4 items were not received. 2 of each outfits in 2 different sizes. Why would I keep 2 of the same outfits in 2 different sizes?! Absolutely disgusting and I will be reporting them to Trading Standards.

I bought a pair of trainers from Boohoo online, but they arrived in the wrong size. I followed all the return instructions carefully and sent the trainers back as requested. Unfortunately, despite doing everything correctly, I have still not received my refund.
I am very disappointed with the service. As a customer, I expected a straightforward return and refund process, especially since the mistake was not mine. All I want is my money back.
I hope Boohoo resolves this issue promptly and improves its customer service and refund process for future customers.

I have been with boohoo UK for long time. Recommended family and friends to their online store. At present premier delivery I paid for but treating a customer very nasty is bad for a company like boohoo.
Long years ago you will talk to someone in the customer services. Not anymore because of their doggy behaviour. Each message you send, you get different names assuring you something will be done and your problem will be solved. Which is absolutely a big lie. They keep disrespecting you turning you around
each time you contact them.
For as little as £12 GBP refund, I have been going through hell. I don’t want the money. I only want it as a gift card so I could buy something else. The gift card they sent is not working. When contacted them they promised sending a new one which is not true.
They telling me about debenhams. Hang on… as far as I am concerned, it’s boohoo I’m dealing with. Not different company which has been closed.
That in the first place is a big tricky situation. I mean doggy. How can a customer order from them and time for refund they referring you to debenhams?
They dealing with their Debenhams and so they should get the whatsoever refund and send to the customer. Not customer to chase Debenhams.
Boohoo has met the wrong customer. I am not going to let this go. Not because of the money which is just peanuts. The principle matters. For months I have been chasing Boohoo and I have been dealt with like a fool.
They will face consequences for treating someone with arthritis fingers, depression and anxiety in such manner. They got me using my aching hands and fingers to be sending them emails for so long and accomplished nothing.

Do not buy here. I paid express delivery to come on time for my holidays, it was supposed to come next day but they only sent a week after. After retuning from my holidays I tried to send it back but the returning portal was not working as it should and I could not click on the items I wanted to return so I sent them a message explaining that I was retuning all items in one single package. They only refund me one item and kept the remaining, now I don’t have the items or my money. It’s an absolute nightmare. Customer service are awful, you speak to a bot most of the time and when a human responds don’t solve the problem either. This is a scam.
Very disappointing experience with Boohoo
In addition to paying £3.99 for standard delivery, I later discovered that a further £2.99 "Delivery Protection" charge had been added to my order without me noticing.
When I contacted customer services, I was initially told that Delivery Protection is automatically added during checkout and must be removed by the customer if they do not want it. However, when I challenged the charge and requested a refund, I was then told that Delivery Protection is an optional service that I had actively selected during checkout.
These two explanations are clearly inconsistent. A service cannot be both automatically added by default and actively selected by the customer.
I asked boohoo to provide evidence that I expressly opted in to purchase this additional service. Rather than providing any evidence, customer services simply repeated that the charge was non-refundable and failed to address the concerns raised.
The issue is not the £2.99 itself. The issue is being charged for an additional service on top of the £3.99 delivery fee and then receiving contradictory explanations when asking legitimate questions about how the charge was applied.
I find it concerning that customers appear to be expected to opt out of an additional paid service rather than actively opt in. Even more concerning is the refusal to provide evidence of consent when requested.
The customer service experience has been poor throughout, with responses appearing to rely on template wording rather than addressing the specific points raised. As a result, I have submitted a formal complaint.
I would advise customers to check their orders very carefully before completing checkout and to review all additional charges applied to their basket.
Based on this experience, I will never shop with Boohoo again! The worst customer service i've come across.
Worst customer care ever experienced
Absolutely disgusted with Boohoo and their customer services. I bought an e-gift card for my daughter in law on the 13th of May she still hadn’t received it. I have sent emails, messages and get replies more that 24 hours later saying it has now been processed but it hasn’t!! I have asked for a refund and get no reply to that. I’ve spent so much money with them in the past but never again. How difficult is it to email someone a gift card!!!!

I have to say that KAI was very prompt and thorough with her reply. She guided me through the process and answered my questions. She was very efficient. I am a first time customer and it cleared all the doubts I had. Thank you Kai and all the best.

Boohoo aka Debenhams aka Dorothy Perkins are blatantly breaking UK consumer law. They will not refund shipping for a completely cancelled online order despite the UK Consumer Contract Regs saying they must.. they will not give a legitimate reason for breaking this law… terrible business practice for the sake of £2.99. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

What used to be a good company have now become scammers. They deliberately ignore messages and then won’t refund, I’ve been scammed out of a lot of money.

I am currently in a dispute with them for 2 issues and getting nowhere, just AI all the time round and round. No contact number either so no way of getting through

If I could leave 0 star I would. I returned an item back in January along with some other items. I’ve received a refund for all items except 1. I have been trying to get this refund back since January, I’ve sent proof of postage multiple times, quoted all reference numbers for the items received back. I’ve been told once they’ve issued that refund, I’ve asked for proof of the refund which they’ve failed to provide. I’ve been going back and fourth for almost 6 months now, and I’ve just had another email asking for proof of postage AGAIN. I can’t believe how bad the customer service is.
I can honestly say I will NEVER use this company again. Which is unfortunate as I’d paid for premier delivery. How this company hasn’t gone into administration baffles me!
Horrendous customer service
Horrendous customer service, I ordered an item in March it was delivered promptly but unfortunately it didn't fit. After several emails, phone calls I got to send it back. I sent it by royal mail on 17th April it has been received by the company. Yet still no refund, have sent several emails including proof of postage and tracking number. Absolutely appalling customer service, I would not use this company again.
