As the name says - BookChor, they actually stood by that brand name and are CHOR of the first case!
Harrowing experiance while i ordered for a book, amount was debited from my bank but order was never booked actually. The customer care lady initially confirmed that they have recieved the payment and promised the delivery. After 2 days of followup, the same lady denied saying ‘Payment recieved’ and said the amount is not recieved and that i should contact my bank for the payment reversal.
As the name says - BookChor, they actually stood by that brand name and are CHOR of the first case!
Negative rating is not an option, else they have earned -99*

Hi, although I like exploring books here and promote Indian companies instead of amozne but their is huge difference in prices, i am trying to buy tamas Bhisham shahani, samskara and tuqlag but in comparison amazon is much cheaper. I thought the very idea of this platform is to sell at cheaper rate and encourage people to read but it's other wise. Disappointed Manju

I ordered a book for my university assessment only yahuah the most high knows how long I have been waiting honestly it's a joke no update these book are very expensive I will never under any circumstance work from them again this isn't good business at all

Delivered wrong book as the book which I want was not in the store.

Pls don’t ever do prepaid order with this website. They lost my shipment of over 18books that came close to 2k.
No response from the team as to what happened to it. For another order I placed a while back they keep saying “will ship today” and apparently their today never comes. They have some good collections but it’s a hit or miss depending on their mood!

Edit- received all items of the missing shipment today.
They have a good collection but delivery time is 2-3weeks.

- Would let you order sets and expensive books during a sale - but refuse to fulfill the order saying they are not available - even when you share a link with them showing that they are available
- would accept orders and later on refuse to deliver good titles stating they are not available and you are stuck with shot titles that you feel you overpaid for
- would accept a different quality during ordering and would send a different quality and torn books that you have to haggle for months
- would not respect their own replacement policy and lie through their teeth
- customer care is not responsive and would reply at their convenience - if they ask for replacement and you are a little delayed in responding, they'll cancel your order without even informing you.

Bookchor is the best app to buy books. It's easy to use, affordable and convenient. All the books which are available on the site are original.

One of the best sites to buy books. I loved their services and the quality of books they provide.

No reply when customer ask for replacement or any complaint,,. once you have paid the amount. So think twice before ordering. Very very bad experience,never go for it.

Even by giving 1 star I'm insulting the star. They are fraud, I had a very bad experience with them. Firslty my order came after a month and when I received them, all the books were damaged and in poor condition. I recommend you to never buy anything from this website. They will never follow up also for anything wrong as they take payment on advance.

They never delivered my confirmed cod order. Upon enquiry , they responded with lies each time - order is with your neighbour, we tried calling you, delivery partner refused to deliver, etc. Kept on pushing for new pre-paid order at higher rate. Finally, said the book is out of order, upon confronting with a ‘ in stock’ screenshot from their website.. there is no respond. Has been a harrowing experience from the past few months. This is a fraudulent business.

Bookchor-- work on FIXING your DELIVERY PARTNER seriously. It's appalling to see that in a country where you're competing with hundreds of similar service providers, you've chosen a deliver partner that is incompetent to the core. Instead of doing their job, they feed lies to your team stating I requested a reschedule.

I can understand if the delivery is delayed due to natural calamity issues but you've no process to inform or intimate your customers about the delay. Work on your customer communication process, FIRST!

You're a total LET DOWN! I do not want to ever order books on your site and go through this hassle of calling your team 5 times for a status. I had the worst experience with you and never going to recommend you to anyone.

I got my refund on cancelled order on 8-4-23, on 6-5-23 only after the intervention of Business Development Manager who informed me that refund has been made. He took pains to contact me and felt sorry for the delay.Cancellation and refund system to be made more customer frienly

Bookchor is a New and used Books E-commerce. So my experience in the company is good. I got all my books in good condition. The most liked part is NO Piracy Books. This shows the standard and respect for both book readers and authors.

it is worth buying a bit pricey books and gaining knowledge from the book. And used book conditions are readable books. I preferred to get my academic books or Favourite Self-help Books.

They are also dominating the market of used books at a very affordable price.
The company has also a Lock The Box page where a potential customer can select his favorite books in the desired box.
The company has also a Dump option where you can sell your old books at a very good price. The company had shown a kind heart towards the people living in up hills by donating books to them as they don't have the access to modern-day readings .
