This was the first time I recycled a mobile phone. Boost Gadgets service was excellent. A prompt quote followed by the speedy delivery of the packing materials and all necessary to forward my old phone to them. Equally prompt has been the agreed payment to my bank account today … I wouldn’t hesitate to to recommend them!!

Was easy, they sent the packaging for me to send it back, was kept informed and even tho i didnt get orginal estimate they give a full update as to why. Also easy to contact if needed. Would recommend.

Great service easy and pleasant to deal with

I Have declined an offer for my IPhone 17 pro, last week and asked for it to be returned, (on Thursday) had no communication since I declined. Have tried several times to email/ call/ live chat, to no avail. Sent Two final warning emails, requesting some kind of communication, or tracking number, for my device to be posted back, which is within breach of their company policy. Next steps, to notify “Action Fraud” and “Trading standards” for withholding my device, which is seen as theft as no communication or updates have been given, despite numerous attempts.
I have since reported the company to “Report Fraud” and received a crime ref number. Informing them that they have UNLAWFULLY withheld other people’s devices also.
Since then, I have received an emailed with an offer of £700, again declined. And very strongly requested them to return my iPhone immediately and email me a tracking a number. Only to be told that they only post things on a “Friday” I have also noticed the what’s app number, is in-fact a “Vape shop”. DO NOT USE!!! Scammers.

Extremely disappointing experience.

I declared the phone as broken when obtaining my original valuation, so the company was already aware it was not in perfect condition. Despite this, after receiving the phone they reduced the offer dramatically from £270 to £50, claiming the battery health was below 75%, the LCD had marks, and that the rear of the phone had been replaced with a non-original part.

I completely dispute the claim regarding the rear of the phone. I bought the device myself, have been the only owner, and to the best of my knowledge the rear housing has never been replaced.

After declining the £50 offer, they increased it to £80. I declined again, only to then receive a further offer of £45, which I also declined. They then increased the offer to £70, which I again declined. The constant changing of the valuation has done nothing to inspire confidence in their assessment.

I requested that my phone be returned, only to be told they were experiencing issues with their courier and that I may have to pay for an alternative courier if I wanted my phone returned quickly. I found this completely unacceptable.

I have since requested updates but have received no response, and I still do not have my phone back.

At this stage, the disputed assessment, the constantly changing offers, the lack of communication, and the delay in returning my property have been extremely frustrating. I will update this review once my phone has been returned and the matter has been fully resolved

Easy process! They send you a prepaid package to send your phone off and I received the review of my phone the same day that they received it, followed by the payment just a day later. Everything was smooth and efficient!

I wouldn’t bother. Sent a phone in (damaged) and when they couldn’t access it they asked for my iCloud log in to resolve it 😂 no reputable company would ask that.

Still waiting on the phone being shipped back nearly two weeks later with no communications. I suspect I’ll need to involve trading standards.

Very professional throughout the process. Prompt communication. Highly recommended and I will use again in the future.

Very easy to organise, quick and efficient service and good communication.

I found boost gadgets from using a comparison site and chose it as it gave me the best quote from the list. The quote as expected was revised to a lot less than I had hoped for so I contacted them with my queries. They were really quick to respond, open to hear what I had to say and helpful in their response. After a short email exchange, we came to an agreement which I am happy with. All of this was sorted this morning, so a really quick response and resolution. Thank you Boost Gadgets :)
