Our electric ran out couldn't top up on line phoned them and had to go through 2 different people put through to top up line and went straight back to a person this us after I told them we are priority customers with medical equipment took over 10 minutes to top up mean while all medical equipment was off lucky we have a grace period where we can go with out electric but the stress and how close it was to our grace period being over is out of order. Woman on end of the call didn't seem to care we were on the priority list and made me go through the security process after already doing it on the phone and to the other woman. This is the first time we have had a problem with boost lady needs retraining and needs to be a better way then typing in a 19 digit code to get through on payme t line

This company are absolutely disgusting. Keep stealing my credit putting me into emergency credit or 'friendly mode' then I have to phone to get my credit back 🤬 they have also switched my electricity off on me without warning for nothing.

They keep talking money off my gas and electric metres every time I top up.
I’ve phoned numerous times. I don’t owe any debt or use the emergency.
Last time I phoned I was told it was because of friendly credit to keep the energy going through the night time until 9:00am. That is total lies because today I topped up £20 on my electric and it said £16.10. Theirs no way it cost £3.90 through the night when nothing is getting used!
Steer clearing I’m leaving looking for something to else today they not taking money off me anymore.

My gas supply failed 5 days ago, and it's still not been reconnected. Hours on the telephone to poorly trained call centre agents and still no further forward. The UK gas network operator, Cadent, attended the property and confirmed that the gas supply was fine. I was informed that Boost would need to come and replace their smart meter. Eventually, Boost arranged an emergency engineering visit. They simply didn't turn up. I was told that I would need to call back again the next day as they had no out of hours operation. Day 6 dawns, and my hope fades.

AVOIDDD AT ALL COST...LITERALLY!! Absoultely disgusting service from Boost. Its daylight ROBBERY! There's been many times where my the meter hasn't taken the top up yet the money has still left my bank account. Then I wonder why my balance has finished so soon. I top up again without realising and before you know it they've pocketed the money that hadn't reached the meter. If I don't call up and query this I'd be none the wiser. Probably happened to many people amd they don't automatically refund failed top ups (which is THEIR system error)!! I could go on with a long list! Eg they also just installed new meters (old ones wernt working and haven't be for AGESSS) now these new meters are also not communicating and not working. They keep telling me to wait 24/48 hours for the in home display and new top up numbers to be processed although this was installed 96 hours ago! Its actually pathetic on the phones because everyone says something different and I'm having to reiterate the same information 100s of times and all I keep getting is meaningful apologies and repetition of the same nonsense. I'm leaving this company as of today because I'm fed up!! Its 2024 and I'm not going through this another year with this company! Disastrous!

Disgusting. Came home after spending christmas with family to find my meter doing a constant beeping noise and screen blank. I called the emergency number and was told that it would go off on its own and that someone would be in contact to arrange an engineer to come out. Woke up the next day (today) to the same problem so I callef again. Was told that an engineer would attend on the 23rd of January and it's currently the 26th of December. I told them that this is not good enough and that the meter is beeping very loud and is constant. When I asked if there was anything that I could do I was told to just deal with it and wait for an engineer. After talking to the complaints team I now have someone on the way. Distgusting behauviour from the customer service team.
WORST COMPANY EVER: Waiting for meter repair for months
Waiting for meter repairs for months - will be over 6 by the time they actually get an engineer out (which I never see happening). Keep cancelling appointments due to having no availability (probably no engineers). AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST.

Very bad company, for one week I am trying to get an engineer on my property to fix my gas meter, we are for 24hr without hot water and heating is more cold in than outside, from yesterday morning we are using the chat not helping at all only lies after lies that the engineer will come in, NO ONE IS SHOWING UP, LYING about that the engineer have been to our PROPERTY but no one showed up where I was home all day and all night and I ve got cameras no one came in, today same problem lying about we are booked for engineer to come is passed 3hr and 4hr long time ago no phone call, no answer NO INTERES ABOUT THAT IS COLD!!!!

If I could give no stars I would liars and fraudsters how they are still around to operate is beyond me. You owe me over 200 pounds keep saying you have sent cheque out but you haven't. Awful company, moved home yesterday found out in with ovo-boost power,couldn’t speak to anyone with clear English (not their fault but if you’re working on phones with an accent it’s very difficult to understand) there was debt on my meter from previous tenant took around 2-3 hours after constantly being hung up on for them to tell me that I needed a code to clear the debt which then also cleared the £20 on my key that I had not put onto the meter yet so had to put another £20 on! I phoned back today to get this money credited back onto my key so again gave me another code and the shop said it’s a code to wipe my credit! Will have to phone back again tomorrow not happy at all already in progress of switching

This company is the worst energy company I have ever had. They mislead the customer, they let you wait for so long, and they are not helpful. They stress me out, and I have my little one. He's autistic and trying to get the electricity and the credit with them, and they asked me to wait five days to get my money. The one was on my meter to get on.
It's one of the worst companies ever. I'm asking you not to use that company; it's useless.

Worst energy company ever , after 8 months of calls emails and 3 no shows for replacement meters, I went to the ombudsman, 3 months later new meters fitted why does it take a year and a official complaint to do a two hr job absolutely shambles of a company, the call centre staff are rude unhelpful, and lie about appointments stay away from this company

If I could give it a 0 I would! Joke of a company I don’t even know how it’s still running. Never get through on the phone and when you do they are from South Africa. We’ve had a leak on our gas and cadent had to come out to cap it off. They have sent us an email to say someone is coming to fix the meter when we have called then to find out when they have asked us to forward the email they sent to us which we have done then the email they gave us is now saying it’s closed. So god knows where we’re up to. We’ve been on hold for an hour nobody seems to know who cadent is and know what’s going on

I would give 0 stars if I could. We are on a prepayment meter which is broken. I want to switch suppliers and go on to a credit meter but they won’t let me do this until the meters are fixed. Surprise surprise no engineers available for months. Finally managed to book one and they didn’t turn up, then they lied about trying to contact me.

I would give 0 stars if I could...customer service is shocking nobody knows what they are doing staff are rude and unprofessional 6 hours on hold for nobody to know what to do and be passed from pillar to post then end up back to the start with them insisting that I was in the wrong!!
