Our windows and doors were of the highest quality. We are really pleased with the result. Friends and neighbours have all commented on how impressed they are with the result. A couple of the neighbours have intimated that they will look into having windows installed by yourselves. Andy our main fitter was exceptional. Always turning up on time, hard working and incredibly tidy, you just wouldn't know he had been there. He was also a really nice guy. He had help with the doors from Thomas, who was equally as professional and nice guy. I wouldn't hesitate recommending your company to anyone. One slight criticism is the uncertainty on the length of time to wait for the products to be made and installed. I sort of understand the reason but if there is a set time scale or an early indication of when they are ready it would help in planning. As it was, the wait wasn't too long, and the wait was certainly worth it. Mike King

We got our Original Box Sash windows fitted last Thursday and Friday by Simon. He did a fabulous job and we are pleased with his work and with the quality of the windows.

The entire process, from the initial meeting with Micheal, progress reports by Phillip, and the fitting by Simon, were professional and to a high standard. Tanya was very easy to work with both in scheduling and when it came to settling the invoice.

The house is finally uniformity warm and draft free. We've lowered our thermostat by 5 degrees. I wholeheartedly recommend The Original Box Sash Windows Company for its excellent service and quality of windows.

We had three very large bay windows replaced with triple-glazed sash, and 3 other single-sash replaced too. All personnel we met were fantastic and professional. No pushy "sign now to get the best price" treatment (unlike others who quoted) and we got a quality product that - almost 3 years later - still looks like new. Plus it is British-made, if that is important to you.

My partner had some replacement double glazed sash windows installed by The Original Box Sash Window Co in her house in Fulham. Now we have moved away from there and I have just ordered a set of windows from them for a flat I own. I expect that they will be same flawless quality as the Fulham ones were. Nice straightforward people to deal with as well. I've rather given up looking elsewhere.

We had a very positive experience with this company. Their service was efficient from start to finish, and the window are very sturdy and appear to be well made. There is certainly less noise from the road and it's warmer inside the house. Would recommend them.

OBS is not the cheapest supplier but, having shortlisted three firms, I decided to use them again. I had used them many years ago in a previous house and been very satisfied. Thei service is excellent and flexible, the people are very helpful and the installation process is efficient and painless. Everyone is professional and meticulous whether in advising on what is best, measuring up and actually installing. Simon and Thomas were very tidy and cleared up after each day. Steve Ryan has been very good in following up the order from paperwork to manufacture and installation. He came and inspected after installation and the company was good about fixing minor items. Last but not least the windows are very well made and fit the existing frames beautifully and look like the original ones. In short an excellent firm.

We had installed sash windows some years ago and they remain in good shape. More recently "dormer" type windows have been installed and these are very satisfactory. They offer insulation as for the sash windows and also enhanced security which is an added feature which is important. Maintaining the windows is relatively straightforward and it is expected that
they will continue to give us the satisfaction which we had sought.

The four façades of our Victorian house face midway between the cardinal points of direction, and most of our windows face the two streets which accost the house on the SE and the SW. The house is exposed on these two sides to every sort of weather, which is why it is called Sunnyside. Three years ago, wishing to improve the insulation of the kitchen and the drawing room, we had the Company replace the sashes with their beautiful hardwood triple-glazed sashes, which fortunately could be fitted into the existing boxes, which were sound. A year later we were in a position to do the same for all the other windows on those two sides. This represented a colossal investment for us, but was certainly worth it and now we have perfect insulation, no draughts, and superlative windows that fit..

We replaced 1970s uPVC windows in the front of our London terraced house in 2010. The Box Sash windows looked great from the day of installation and still look perfect today. They are attractive, secure and have improved visibility and sound-proofing. I am sure they have enhanced the value of our home. Delivery was on-time and installation was perfect. I would strongly recommend them.

We have used Original Box Sash Window Company twice. Most recently they refurbished and upgraded our existing box sash windows to double glazing. Everyone we dealt with was helpful, friendly, professional, and very good at their jobs. The quality and attention to detail in their work is excellent. Would definitely recommend them.

Not so expensive - just excellent value
The sash windows are of superb quality, absolutely faultless. The two fitters who came to put them in were very thoughtful in caring for the carpets. All carpets involved were covered in sheeting and the staircase also. Shoes were removed as soon as they came in the house. The finished work was perfection and the two fitters absolute craftsmen. Any dust afterwards was vacuumed up.

I cannot fault the overall service from Box Sash Window company. I was contacted immediately with an initial estimate and this was followed up with a visit where everything was discussed. The job was completed to my timetable and the window fitter did a superb job quickly and efficiently. You get what you pay for. This is a high end product from a high end company.

Our flat is in a Mansion Block built in the early 1900's and the windows and doors were in poor condition and there was considerable heat loss and a great deal of traffic noise. The difference is stunning and we now reduce the CH to a few hours per day whereas before we needed heat all day and noise is a thing of the past.

We were a little bit concerned about changing our original box sash windows for double glazed windows, as they are a very important part of the character of our house. So choosing a company that could retain as much of the original feel of the windows was very important to us.
The Original Box Sash Window Company were superb from start to finish we felt in very good hands, everything happened when they said it was going to and we were very happy with the end result (very well insulated windows, with no condensation or noise issues and that keep the original feel of the property) Several friends have commented that they would not have noticed that we changed the windows if I hadn't mentioned it.

We have had all the windows at the back of the house replaced and the kitchen bay rebuilt by The Original Box Sash Windows Co. From the first visit, to the surveyor's visit and the installer arriving everything went perfectly. They may not be the cheapest but they have to be the best around.
