⭐️ 1 star – Refund received, but the guarantee can’t be trusted

I bought two mattress toppers from Brightr Sleep, largely because of their advertised 100-night guarantee. Unfortunately, relying on this guarantee turned into a lengthy and stressful experience.

The returns process involved almost 40 emails. Information was often incomplete, responses needed to be chased, and the process repeatedly stalled unless I followed up. What should have been straightforward felt unnecessarily complicated and time-consuming.

When I raised concerns about the number of emails and delays, the responses were defensive and dismissive, with little acknowledgement of the service issues or the amount of back-and-forth required. At no point was there any clear recognition or ownership of where the process had broken down.

Although I did eventually receive my refund (over £300), it required far more effort and persistence than should ever be necessary.

I’m leaving this review to warn others: the 100-night guarantee may exist on paper, but in practice it is not an easy or customer-friendly process. If you need to rely on it, be prepared for frustration.

As promised.

The service and delivery were faultless. The topper is very well made arrived very quickly and was so well packaged. It has made a huge difference to my sleeping and I can recommend it without hesitation. I am also pleased to say that I am not overheating at all which was something that I had concerns might happen, but no quite the opposite.

Give them a try there is nothing to loose apart from sleep issues.

Easy website to navigate BOGOF offer was the deciding factor as I had not heard of company before.
After first night both myself and my wife have had great nights sleep and have already started recommending pillows.
Now contemplating a topper.
The 60 night trail was also influential but if sleep improvements continue definitely won't be needed.

AVOID THIS COMPANY

AVOID THIS COMPANY. Truly terrible refund process. Having bought a pillow under the 30 day returns offer it wasn't right for me. I returned in original packaging including tracking and this was acknowledged as received on 9th January. I have emailed 3 times asking why no refund and each time have been asked to be patient as company policy is refunds are completed between 14-21 days later. WHY?! It's now 31st January and no refund. Honestly baffled why it takes these companies so long to return your money. Avoid this company at all costs and go for one that has positive returns on Trust Pilot. I won't be making this mistake again

Fabulous Pillow

I originally bought the hybrid pillow, which I didn't get on with at all. After arranging an exchange (which was a straightforward experience), I now have a wonderful pillow, and enjoyed 3 good nights sleep in a row, with no neck ache.

It was my first time ordering from Brightr, they definitely deserve my 5 star review.
Right from when l ordered l was kept upto date, when the mattress topper arrived, as advised it was unrolled for 24hrs before l used it. I was pleasantly surprised as I can definitely feel a improvement in my back when l get up.

A better sleep at last!

I'd been looking for a new pillow for years and had bought and tried many, with so much money spent on so many wasted purchases. Too soft, too low, too small, bad backs, sore necks were all past experiences with pillows and so I stuck with an old one which was well past its best. The minute I saw the Brightr one online, I thought it looked a good height and the reviews seemed good, so I thought I would try yet again. Received it in good time and, once it had time to settle out of the packaging, first impressions were it looked great. First night I tried it, it seemed very firm and high and next morning I woke with a sore neck. But I remembered that some of the reviews had said you might need to adjust the levels, which is a great idea. WOW!! Took one layer out and since doing that, I have had the best week of sleep in years. Still a great height now, its firm but your head sinks into it and I don't wake up punching the pillow anymore. Thank you Brightr for a wonderful pillow. I now look forward to going to bed!!

From 1 star to 4!

A few weeks ago after a disastrous experience with a customer service person, I wrote a scathing review and gave them 1 star. However the response from the company was to apologise, to advise a different product and arrange a return of the original purchase, once I had paid the difference in price. The new topper has made such a difference and I am now sleeping through the night for the first time in years.

Refund taken 43 days and counting!

Delivery was fine, the firm topper wasn't suitable for me personally and I found in the end I did need to just buy a new mattress.

Biggest issue has been the refund process. The item was sent back and tracking says they received it on the 11th of December 2025 and I still (22nd of Jan 2026) have not received the refund - that's well past the 14-21 days they list on their website. It's not only frustrating not to have the refund back but having to chase it as well, all in all not acceptable.

Update: I have now asked twice in email for a transaction reference having been told that the refund was sent to my bank, still nothing received and never had this issue with my bank (Natwest) so I suspect this remains a Brightr issue - especially as they are not responding to the request for the transaction details.
