Absolutely shocking. This company portray as being UK based when in fact they are not and the sub standard products come from China.

The heated gloves I ordered where really poor and when I asked for a refund I was initially offered 20% and subsequently have been ghosted?

I wish I had seen the reviews before I ordered the heated gloves. They do not work and returning them to China costs as much as the gloves. The website is misleading as it looks like a Uk based company. Nowhere does it say that items have to be returned to China. I was offered a 20% refund which is better than nothing but I’m still left with gloves that I will not use. Do not use this company

I too apparently have been caught by the scam of ordering heated gloves from this company, they arrived after a month with no instructions and not as indicated on the website. It seems I can only use the heated gloves if they are plugged into the mains!! I explored to send them back and was quoted 40-50 euros cost of return which exceeds the price paid. A dishonest ripoff is my overall impression.

Do not buy from this company - scam. Took over 3 weeks to arrive. Heated gloves did not match description and glue melted when heated. Not rechargeable, no adjustable heat settings, no even heating. Refused full refund unless I sent them back which would cost more than the refund. Disgraceful. Would give minus stars if I could.

Review for Heated Gloves: Totally misrepresented product, they are not as advertised. Accepted 20% partial refund as cost to send back to China uneconomical. Another example of cheap Tat falsely advertised. Avoid this site at all costs.

Similar experience to others, bought some heated gloves which do not do what they claim, there is no heat system or rechargeable battery just an element which only heats the back of the hand when plugged in. Complete mis-representation. Cost of return outweighs the cost of the gloves. Avoid at all costs.

Heated gloves arrived very late. Just some retrofit add on to thermal gloves. Cheap rubbish. Obvs can't return as quoted more than purchase price to return. Felt like a scam. Be wary whatever you order as quality will likely be low. If youre OK with that go ahead and order from them.

I am stuck with poor quality goods shipping costs to return the product are more than the purchase price.

Very poor quality and did not stay hot for more than a few minutes .bristey offered a 20% refund. When i asked for a full refund i was toldthat i would have to pay between 40 and 50 euros shipping costs to return the gloves to source. I emailed to say i was happy to return to uk address. They failed to respond.DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY

Absolutely atrocious

Bought a pair of shoes which were the cheapest and poorest of quality you can imagine and nothing like what was on the picture.

The picture was clearly taken of another Website to fool you into thinking that’s what you were gonna get.

Then when you try to return it, you’re stung with an exceptionally expensive postage, so it actually doesn’t end up being worth returning the item.

My advice is stay clear

This website presents itself as a UK-based brand, claiming it ships exclusively within the UK and prioritises excellent customer service. This is extremely misleading.

I placed an order and later decided I wanted to return it after finding a similar item elsewhere. When I contacted customer service to ask about initiating a return, I was told I would need to cover the return shipping myself, which they estimated would cost €30 - 45 (more than the item I purchased!). That’s when I discovered the return address they provided is in Hong Kong.

Nowhere on their website does it clearly state that products are shipped from Hong Kong, nor does the returns section disclose that customers may face such high international return costs. This lack of transparency feels intentional and effectively removes a customer’s right to return items by making it prohibitively expensive.

When I raised this issue, the only solution offered was a 20% partial refund, with no willingness to cover return postage or provide a fair alternative -despite the fact that I would never have purchased from this site had I known where the items were coming from or how costly returns would be.

I have since disputed the charge with my credit card company, who have been very supportive.

Regardless of the outcome, the way this business operates - through misleading claims and a lack of transparency, is unacceptable. Practices like this should not be allowed. A similar situation happened to my dad with another retailer based in China, and many people simply give up because fighting it is exhausting. That’s exactly what companies like this rely on.

Alternatively return product which would cost 30-45 euros.

Jacket was not as described.....sent numerous emails for advice on how to return item..... not one reply from them.... they are scammers

Product not as described and no instructions provided. When I contacted Bristey to ask to return it for a refund I was advised I had to cover the cost and it would be "USD30-40" to return. They are in China.

I do not recommend them.

Don't waste your money. They are a scam

Ordered some heated thermal gloves from Bristey 11 days ago. It said standard shipping should be a few days. The item is a gift for my dad's birthday which is tomorrow, so he's obviously not getting his gift anytime soon. I contacted customer service who said that my order is still getting ready to be shipped and that there's a warehouse delay, but looking at the other reviews on here that seems to be a common occurrence. How can it take this long to even ship an item? Don't bother wasting your money ordering from here, I'm not holding out hope of receiving the item.

UPDATE 28/01 - My item finally arrived about 2 days ago. By this point it was well past my dad's birthday and the item didn't even fit anyway, and was poor quality. I emailed support asking to return it and they've said shipping cost would be €30-€45 as you have to ship it back to China, or they'll give me a 20% refund the keep the item. This company is such a scam, DO NOT order from them.

This company seems like a scam. Ordered a £125 lamp and received a £5 toy instead. Delivery also took weeks. No obvious way of requesting refund.

My order was to ship within 3 days. I got a tracking number but when the item was a week or two late I chased Bristey and they said there was a hold up at the warehouse, item was not shipped. It did arrive after 3 weeks but only partially worked and didn't look like the photo. There is a 30 day returns policy but you need to ship it tracked to their home in Zhejiang, China which they say will cost 30 to 40 euro.
Their website has a UK address but this is a residencial house in Watford.
