Brilliant company

Brilliant company, we have used a few times for curtains and blinds. The quality of the items is amazing and the customer service is great. A bracket broke in my son’s blind a few months after ordering and they sent me out a replacement straight away! Highly recommend

Great services and speedy delivery

This is the second time ordering from this company and the service and speed of delivery were great both times. I love the new cushions that finish off our lounge perfectly. I shall definitely use this company for future fabric/soft furnishings again.

Amazing quality curtains

Amazing quality curtains. This is our second time ordering from Britannia rose and would always use them for our made to measure curtains. Only thing is the turnaround time is always a little longer than expected so wouldn’t recommend ordering in a rush! Worth the wait though.

Brilliant process from start to finish!

Brilliant process from start to finish! Images clearly show the range of cloth, true to colour! Samples perfectly enabled me to make a choice and my cloth was here within days. Not easy to buy cloth on line but was really happy with my choice!! Certainly recommend and would use again!

I was very happy with my first order from Britannia Rose, so I confidently placed another—this time for four fabric samples. Unfortunately, only one arrived. I had to chase the company to find out that the others were either discontinued or delayed. Despite promises and an eventual refund for two of the samples, the 4th sample still never arrived, but did get refunded when I asked. Even more frustratingly, the samples Britannia Rose claimed were unavailable, still continue to be listed for sale on their website, despite my raising this with them three times. When at a later date, I decided against better judgement to place an order for one of these fabrics, I received a message some days later saying the order couldn’t be fulfilled. I found out the hard way that it wasn’t just the samples that they no longer sold, the fabric had been discontinued too. I was told 6 days ago, after I had to ask for my money back, I’d be refunded in a few days, but I’m still waiting.
It's extremely disappointing to see a company knowingly advertise products they can’t deliver. A company should be abreast of fabric availability, especially ones that have been discontinued, so they may remove them from their website, to prevent customers ordering items that can never be fulfilled. I appreciate that updating websites can take time, and on occasions there are delays in manufacturers/retailers communications but in this case that isn’t so. To summarise my experience of Britannia Rose, appalling communication regarding fabric availability, poor customer communication and unkept promises made this a frustrating experience. My experience has put me off of ordering from them again, or recommending them. Order number ORD2526115
Edit 1st June 2025 - I have today received a full refund for the unfulfilled fabric order.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We’re really sorry for the frustration caused, especially after a great first experience with us.

You’re right to expect better communication around stock availability and clearer updates when something can’t be fulfilled. In this case, we contacted you immediately after we were informed by Ashley Wilde that the fabric had been discontinued. Unfortunately, some manufacturers don’t have up-to-date IT systems to provide live stock data, and Ashley Wilde is one of them. This can lead to delays in us being notified, and we appreciate how frustrating that is.

We’re actively working on improving how we manage discontinued or delayed fabrics on our website to prevent similar issues from happening again.

As for your refund, it was actioned the same day it was promised. However, Stripe and the banks can take several working days to complete the transaction. While that’s outside of our control, we completely understand how annoying the wait can be.

Your feedback is completely fair, and we’re taking it seriously. We’re sorry we let you down this time and hope we’ll have the chance to earn back your trust in future.

Fantastic service from Britannia…

Fantastic service from Britannia Rose...I ordered curtains on their excellent and easy to use website. The choice of fabrics is huge and deciding on one was the most difficult part of the ordering process! Once I ordered my curtains I saw that there was a bit of a delay getting the fabric from the manufacturer and I thought that particular fabric might be discontinued. I rang the customer service team and a very helpful man checked on the status of the fabric and reassured me that the fabric would be available but with a bit of a delay. I was happy to wait until the middle of June for delivery but just 10 days later I received a call from the customer service team to let me know that the fabric had come in and they made my curtains that very day and were being shipped out that day. This was late in the evening on a Friday and I received the curtains the next day before 1pm - fantastic! I was so pleased with the quality and workmanship on the curtains as well - they look great. I would use Britannia Rose again and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants high quality curtains at a competitive price with great service thrown in!

Britannia Rose came up trumps at all levels!

Britannia Rose came up trumps at all levels. They were hugely helpful when I rang about four times prior to ordering the curtains. The website was clear and the discount offered (and free cushion too) much appreciated.
The curtains (lined and interlined) arrived as and when expected and I am thrilled with the result. Would definitely recommend them.

I do not write negative reviews of companies as I feel that they should be allowed to deal with issues privately with their customers . However I feel the way this company has treated us needs to be highlighted to warn other potential customers .
We ordered some curtains which were advertised by Britannia Rose , paying £1400 in January 2025 and still have not received them (24th May 2025) as the material is still unavailable. ( We have just rung them up and the date has now again been moved back to the end of June)
Britannia Rose have continued to advertise the curtains throughout this period and may well have taken other orders from other customers throughout this delay . When I challenged them about this false advertising they said it was an IT issue and they would look into it. Any communication over the last few months about updates etc has always come from us, they have not been proactive.
Any company can seem good when things go well , how they deal with problems is an indicator of how good they really are. Our experience of this company is poor . I have now realised that one in five of their customers who have written reviews have expressed their dissatisfaction with the service or product they have received from Britannia Rose.

I hope anyone who orders from them doesn’t have the same experience we have had !

Thank you for your review. We’re very sorry for the continued delays and for how frustrating this experience has been. You have every right to feel let down, and we want to provide some clarity on what happened with your order.

About Your Order

You placed your order in January, and we contacted you a week later to let you know the fabric you had chosen was expected in April. At that time, we offered you free samples of alternative fabrics that were in stock, but you kindly chose to wait for your original selection.

On 13 March, you got in touch for an update, and we advised that Fryetts, the supplier, had delayed the expected delivery to the end of April. Unfortunately, this was pushed again to the end of May, and then once more to the end of June. At each stage, we passed on the latest information, apologised sincerely, and offered you options to switch to an alternative from suppliers who provide reliable and up-to-date stock feeds.

Why the Fabric Was Still Listed

We understand how frustrating it must have been to see the fabric still being advertised online. This is due to the fact that some suppliers, Fryetts among them, do not have automated systems for managing stock updates. Their processes are often manual, and unless we are directly notified, delays may not immediately reflect on our site. That is not the standard we aim for, and it is something we are actively working on by prioritising suppliers who give us real-time digital stock data.

Final Note

We are sorry that your experience fell short of what we strive to deliver. We have now refunded your order in full, and while we cannot undo the inconvenience caused, we do hope you will give us a chance in the future to show you the level of service and quality we are known for.

Amazing service

We needed curtains urgently as MIL was moving in with us and the team really helped us get the correct material and the curtains were made and despatched super quick - amazing service, wouldn't use any other company for curtains.

Excellent quality and customer service

I have had a number of pairs of curtains made by Britannia Rose - on each occasion I have found the items to be very-well made, well packed and dispatched promptly. Customer service is excellent - very helpful and friendly. Overall - highly recommended!
