Burren (part of Fexco) have managed my new build development since 2024. It has been a series of incompetent, unreliable and unprofessional disasters from the start. Communication is either nonexistent or inaccurate, they would rather deny and delay than actually acknowledge issues or make progress. It has gotten to the point of seeking to take them to tribunal to recover management costs. They have left serious fire safety issues unfixed for years (broken fire doors and entrance doors) with ‘quick fixes’ breaking straight away. They just play a blame game between themselves and the developer (who aren’t much better). It is August 2026 and we have still yet to be sent the 2024 to 2025 accounts. All of their departments, front of house, accounts, out of hours, are all a shambles. Avoid any development managed by them.

Shockingly poor building management company. Their staff range from incompetent to downright rude and dismissive, they have terrible communication with homeowners and seem incapable of fulfilling their basic services.

If you are purchasing a property that is managed by Burren, avoid at all costs!!

They are so incompetent in every single way. Do not address issues, keep asking residents that we have to pay extra money for issues that are caused by their subcontractors. They do not challenge cleaners invoices when our building is not cleaned, they pay the gardeners for maintaining the plants on our rooftop but most of plants are dead and they are telling residents if we want plants to be replaced we have to pay, the doors on ground floor do not function properly this has been going on for over 1.5 years and still doors are not fixed, the lift droppes from 5th floor to 1st and ground floor and all they say is that we’re sorry, when we raise issues they don’t provide response nor resolution but they close the tickets and communication is extremely poor

Fexco are really just using different management companies to rob flat owners.
Our account manager was on probation and was doing a horrible job. The company then sent an email saying they were not upto the mark so had to be let go. So why were we paying such high management fees for unprofessional work.
