Awful customer service
Awful customer service. Rang today to arrange a viewing on a property. I advised when I was free. Gave a big range or times then the guy was very rude and said it wasn’t up to me and that they had a block viewing for the house on Friday that was fully booked so I couldn’t go along (even though I would be free). Explained I was a cash buyer but he just wasn’t interested. I would like to know what the seller would have thought about a very interested cash buyer being refused a viewing on their house.

I dealt with Paul Jeffries at the Stoke branch, his help and advice was excellent. I couldn’t have managed without. I would recommend his services to anyone.
The worst agent to deal with! Fraudulent
The worst agent to deal with! They are fraudulent and deceptive. I paid holding deposit but was refused access to the property for more than 2 months. They kept on postponing move in dates. Only for them to put the same property back into the market and still write available now.

My landlord moved with this agency a month before I was ending my tenancy as I no longer wanted to rent and when I advised I was leaving butters started doing viewings at my property whilst I was living there without me knowing when I did advise that I didn’t feel comfortable with anyone viewing the property until my personal belongings were out of the property so if you want to feel safe and like you don’t have to make sure nothing valuable is in your property wouldn’t recommend them or my landlord.
Good Estate Agent but Poor Drivers
Shame the young blonde female driver in the VW T-Roc doesn't seem to be aware when she is tailgating and trying to cut in front of people at traffic lights that she is driving around with her employer's name all over the car. Dashcam footage submitted.

Today Adam from the Stafford office visited my late mother's house to value it.
It was obvious that he knew the local housing market and he was very professional and had a pleasant manner and gave excellent advice regarding the valuation.

Utterly and truly shocking , I have never experienced such an unprofessional and incompetent approach in my thirty plus years of letting properties, they must be avoided at all costs

Incompetent
Just going through TPO regarding a rental property. BJBs have no comm., no organisation, no management. They should not be in the business of letting properties. The only thing they excel in, is incompetence. Landlords steer clear unless you want to spend years chasing these cowboys for answers as to why monies are being deducted for no clear reason. Only time we had a proper response is when the TPO have been involved. AVOID!

Terrible lack of service
I would give Zero stars if I could.
I have a 10 year old apartment in Wolverhampton that BJB are supposed to deal with the letting of for me.
In November I received notification from BJB that the EPC on my apartment had run out and that I required a new one.
After checking with the British Landlords Association and checking the new government legislation re EPC renewal, it became clear that there was no requirement on my behalf to renew the EPC until my current tenancy ended. I have written to BJB/Haart several times explaining this, however they have ignored my emails and have taken it upon themselves to INSTRUCT A SURVEYOR AND TO ISSUE A NEW EPC O MY APARTMENT AND HAVE TAKEN THE £118 COST OUT OF THE RENT PAYMENT THAT WAS DUE TO ME THIS MONTH,USING MY MONEY WITHOUT MY PERMISSION.
I'm extremely disappointed with their lack of service,you never get to speak to the same person if there is a problem they pass it from one colleague to another, no one will ever take ownership!
Untrusting of customers = less sale value
Went to view 2 houses approximatly 6 months ago, one of which we were interested in, i think the house was up for roughly 'offers over 155,000'. We rang up to submit an offer of 140,000 to which the man basically laughed me out of the conversation and was extremely rude. Stated that the ower would not accept that offer. I asked for him to put it to them anyway, he insisted that we submit bank information to him to prove our deposit to which i refused as no other estate agent has ever done that in my experience and as at that point there is no formal agreement in place i would not pass on personal information without any protection of my information in place. Gave up at this point and moved onto another property with an estate agent that was MUCH better. So now roughly 6 months later i see the property that i was interested in now sold stc, for wait for it....offers in the region of 130,000. Live and learn, the sellers would have made roughly 10,000 more on that sale if butters john bee actually took customers seriously. Will never use this company to sell any of my properties or will buy a house from anyone that is using this dreadful company. Buyers and sellers beware

They have the information, why not display it for everyone to see, instead of waste my time having to phone up?

Crappie no contact always the buyers solicitors never down to them taken over 4 months for sale and still waiting for a moving date and always say the will phone u back ps this is my partners house who is not well and why do we take to get hold off them to.find out the process.
