Bytes Free Opiniones

Super great electrical company whose owner James knows what he’s doing. He very quickly (1hr) fixed my bike battery at a very reasonable price.

James at Bytes Free did an amazing job modding my NES for RGB output. He also did a region lockout. Cannot fault the entire experience - James was very helpful on email and WhatsApp before sending off my NES to him. I was kept in the loop on him receiving it, when the work was done and when he'd sent it back. The mod was done very quickly and sent back top tier mail. Cant recommend enough!

Amazing service done the next day, both xbox and ps5 controllers are perfect. And very reasonably priced

Excellent service and great communication Fixed my son's hdmi port on his ps5, now have a very happy boy. Would definitely use again and 100% recommend 😁

Would like to say a huge Thank you to Bytes Free for fixing my PS5 HDMI (was broken off the console inside).
Got it fix in March 2025. Up to this day (August) it works perfectly as usual. No issues, no white noise or no signal message.

The guy was very helpful, up to date and efficient with my console. Would 100% recommend and trust with any issues if further damage in the future.

Amazing service, best price repair you ever find in the area and perfect results!

Thank you again.

We love James - unique business and brain for this sort of stuff. So glad we found him for our weird old school darkroom equipment!

James is the man when it comes to retro mods. No job is too big or too difficult. An absolute wizard. He has performed loads of work for me over the past year including:

Full CDX recap unibios 3bp and fram

Cosam Sega Neptune build

Dualsense tmr joystick replacements and other bits.

Workmanship and communications are excellent. Hire with confidence I will be sending more work his way for sure

James was great from start to finish- good communication throughout and great advice! Thank you!

James sorted the issue with our Xbox promptly and now it’s running as good as new. His communication was prompt and professional throughout our interactions. Highly recommended.

Really responsive to my enquiry and quick to do the repair.

Really high quality work that was turned around in 1 day, communication was also great

Sent my N64 off and was back to me in perfect condition in a few days. Very impressed with the soldering, communication even at 7:15 am :D and I am definitely (when I can aford it ) sending a couple more consoles in the future. I can't recommend any higher. If you want something done don't hesitate.
You can see by my other reviews I take no prisoners and for a change I'm happy :D.

Quick response, repair carried out within 24 hrs at a very competitive price. Would use again and highly recommend to others

Great Service
Great Communication
Super Quick and sorted my PS5 issue out in a couple of hours!!!

I got an accurate quote before the work, prompt invoice afterwards and the work was well done. Good comms too.

After a trip to the US I had brought back an RF NES top loader needing some work to get it going on my PAL TV. James did a brilliant job installing an RGB kit and expansion audio mod. It runs beautifully, service was great and well priced. Your console is in a safe pair of hands here. One very happy chap

What a brilliant service from start to finish. James was very responsive to emails and very knowledgeable. Fixed a faulty Panasonic Q for me that was having front button issues. Would highly recommend, James will be my go to for retro and current console fixes.

Had my ps5 controller fixed. Great communication. Now in perfect working order which was done within 24 hours. Highly recommend. Thanks James.

James was brilliant! Worked hard to fulfil all my requests and was patient with my questions. Can’t recommend him enough!
