Bytes Free Opiniones

James @ Bytes Free modded 3 consoles for me. Good communication on exactly what work I wanted. Very neat high quality install. No cut mods on Intellivision (RGB) and 3DO (240p switch RGB and in game reset; replaced caps and repaired leak). Very neat mini HDMI install on Wii. Provided high quality photos of install and testing. Will use again for complex mod work.

Excellent service

Quick repair, fully working and cheap to boot, would use again 👍👍

I sent in 2 consoles. One snes to have a region mod installed and the capacitors replaced. And a Famicom that was no longer working.

Once it arrived with him both items where ready and back to me within a week.

Gives tracking for the parcels, shows pictures of the work, and he is more affordable than other modders in the UK.

Would recommend always.

Quick quote, quick fix and cheaper than everyone else.
Do not hesitate. This is superb service

Sega Megadrive DFO
Wanted to have my own MD1 upgraded to triple bypass, ,dfo and capacitor upgrade. Having looked into the DFO install I needed a trusted installer, and had used James previously and was not dissapointed. Pictures of his soldering are supplied and its perfect techinically. Nice guy too .

Very smooth and easy process. Very clear communication. Fast turn around and clear pricing. Very happy

I sent my PS2 to James at Bytes Free to get the retrogem HDMI mod installed. I was sent photos of the modification which looked very clean and professionally done. It was returned to my door a day or two after payment went through and everything worked great! Very happy and will likely send console mods to James in the future!

Good communication and a first class repair

James did flawless work on my original xbox. He gave me accurate estimates for the work done and worked with me when I needed longer to receive the item. My go to from now on for all consoles

James was awesome, very quick in replies to emails and clear will all the information. Needed two ps5 controllers looked at with stick drift issues, now been upgraded and repaired. Very quick service .
Highly recommended, will definitely use again

Very quick and professional service. Fixed the hdmi port on my kids. Xbox within 24 hours.

I turned to James after reading glowing reviews on Trustpilot...and I'm so glad I did. To be honest, I wasn't even sure my vintage electronic toy kitchen could be fixed but I thought it was worth a shot. James accepted the challenge without hesitation. Due to previous severe battery leak damage, the compartment had to be cut away and replaced with a new one. James did this with care, and even replaced the rusted miniature speaker. I am amazed that the kitchen now works perfectly and when the original kettle, pressure cooker and frying pan are placed on the hob all the associated sounds (boiling kettle, hissing pressure cooker and sizzling frying pan) are all clear and bright. Never thought this could have been fixed, being 40 years old...but its perfect!! Thank you so much James, you're a star! Wishing you well and all the very best for the future. Thank you!

I got in contact with James about a new hdmi port on an old ps4.
He emailed straight back, I was able to drop it off to him the next day.
By my surprise he had emailed the following day saying it was done!
Brilliant job! Can’t thank you enough!

This was my first time using James and would certainly recommend. He installed a Retrogem mod to my N64 and completed the job quickly and for a good price. The console was mailed back the same day as payment and received within 24 hrs.

Great communication and quick turnaround.

Really quick and easy contacting. Friendly and very professional would recommend

Excellent and very quick on the repair

Superb service from start to finish, James did a complicated Dreamcast HDMI modification that I wasn't confident to try myself and the work is absolutely immaculate, great communication and super fast turnaround. Can recommend 100% and I'd use his services again in a heartbeat. Many thanks!
