(My Experience with Cambabest Builder shop, Birmingham)...Posted review😡

"Ordered some material and told next day delivery. Took time of work and arranged workmen. No delivery for 3 days I been calling, they kept saying the delivery is between 6-6pm on each day...

Very disappointed. Rather pay more than going this place again...very arrogant staff with Their inbuilt feudal attitude. Irritable when I asked customer rep's name.Treating their customers like idiots... Disgusting...

After continuous 3 days, on the following day I contacted them again, to state that if they can't deliver my order at least by next day I may not need it. At this point staff Reported they can't locate my orders and they were angry because I was "rude" to them and they threatened saying that they will cancel my order...

I had enough with them...they don't have a "sorry" word in their dictionary at all....
Appalling customer care with very rude staff attitude. Don't bothered on customs as they believe their business is well established...
Very disappointed with their dismissive attitudes.

Waited in all day customer service disgraceful won't even ring the driver with my delivery just for a rough eta I don't think it's too much to ask once they have your money they don't give two hoots absolutely disgraceful company avoid like the plague!!! I cannot quite believe how arrogant the sales staff are here. I have heard many bad things about cambabest kitchens but decided to gift them the benefit of doubt. Cambabest kitchens certainly did live upto the dreadful reputation they have out there . I like many others was impressed , rather misguidedly, with the showroom, it really does prove the age old adage about not judging a book by it's cover . Their prices are NOT at all competitive (I have researched ) and quality is worthy of scepticism , despite the script you hear from them . They certainly have lived up to their awful reputation . I will not be purchasing anything from cambabest kitchens or cambabest builders merchants, they too are equally suspect. Quoting £150 per door on first visit then £75 per door on second visit only when he realised the order was larger than he initially thought. One door, two very different prices . Their prices, just like them , are shady, shocking, dubious and deeply untrustworthy. Avoid both at all costs, if you do not avoid both then the cost will undoubtedly be yours.

Cambabest was the recommended provider of a highly reputable Home Improvements business in South Birmingham and I was looked after by Stuart Dale. Stuart visited our home to see what we currently had, what our main issues with the kitchen were and then helped us visualise what he saw to be the best layout plan for the new design. A very short while later, we were invited into the showroom to "see" our new kitchen on screen with the styles of cabinet and colours we were considering.

The plans were ideal. Stuart's attention to detail on our room plan and format were excellent (even taking our cat into consideration!). He was able to point out things we hadn't considered regarding a kitchen space - from planning the White Goods out of obvious sight, for example - and didn't throw in any un-necessarily fancy gadgets for the sake of it. Everything just fitted where it belonged.

The price was very competitive too and, as Cambabest have access to numerous different providers, we were not restricted in our choice of makers for the Stove, Ovens, Fridge Freezer etc.

Ordering and Delivery went very smoothly indeed and corrections were conducted with expedience - there was one cabinet door that had been mis-drilled so the holes were out of alignment. A replacement was with us within days and this didn't cause any delay at all to us.

In summary, we ordered 21 units, 5 appliances, 2 radiators, a sink and tap and approximately 6 metres of Silestone work surface. We are more than thrilled with the results and have transformed our functional decent kitchen into a jaw-dropping room that is a pleasure to be in whether we are cooking or not.

As mentioned, we did not use fitters recommended by them, rather our home improvement contact recommended them and we used his team to fit.

Stuart was professional, friendly and very approachable but I noticed his colleagues were also equally welcoming (particularly Binda!). I heartily recommend their service and products to all.

Placed an order over the phone, payed by card, would be told it would be delivered the next day.
Waited for delivery, called around midday, was told the delivery would occur before 6pm, they can't specify times.
Called again at 5.30pm, was told the delivery wouldn't happen that day, to wait until tomorrow.
When I raised a fuss about this, I was casually told it happens, they are short staffed, and it is normal for them not to bother calling customers to tell them delivery will not occur.
How pathetic.

Our builder ordered some bricks from these guys but they were the wrong colour, called cambabest and their reply was we dont return bricks!!!! what company doesnt let you return items if they are the wrong colour especially when it cost £700 .

Never ever will i roder anything from this cowboy outfit again!!!

After reading some reviews on here i was not sure about the company as i had heard a lot of positives about them. Nevertheless, we were spending a lot of money and wanted to see what they offered. We went to the showroom on a saturday and tried to see a designer. We spoke with Binda who had great knowledge of their product range and siemens appliances. After spending half an hour discussing our thoughts he took our details and invited us back a week later. We went through the layout and he emailed a quote. We thought we would be bombarded with follow up calls but just one a week later. We started shopping around because of the doubt we had from the reviews but couldn't find a similar product at the price. We then had another positive about this company from a friend who had purchased their bathrooms from here. We ordered the kitchen and received it as promised five weeks later. Everything arrived as ordered. Our own fitter was unsure of a few items even though Binda had emailed a confirmation listing all the parts. We called Cambabest and he came round the next morning to see the fitter as he was local. I cannot complain about the service from start to finish and now recommend them as a first option to all friends at my kids school who mention kitchen or bathrooms. We will no doubt use this company again in the future.

Under no circumstances buy from this company or have them fit your kitchen. They are very pleasant while you make your order and they take your money but then it all changes. Whilst fitting the units, some of them were the wrong colour, how dare I point this out. The support under the oven was fitted the wrong way round so there was actually no support, then one day the oven fell out. The washing machine was designed to be fitted in an extremely tight area, which makes it difficult to get it out if there is a problem. This is just some of the problems I encountered but there were many more. When I complained the attitude, the lack of help and a letter from the owner who replied with threats was all I received. You can buy kitchens of better quality, price and service anywhere else-avoid this company at all costs.
In reply to Cambabest reply-my purchase wasn't in the last twelve months/two years so not surprising you couldn't find any order for me. I am not in the habit of lying and my experience was exactly as I recalled and true. I stand by my review and wouldn't consider contacting you to discuss (as you state you are at my service) as your company had its chance to put all the errors right at the time. Therefore I feel it's only right that other people get a true overview of Cambabest and that is why I put a review on and it's quite obvious looking at other reviews that I am not on my own.

I rate this company very highly. I used them for my new kitchen and could not have asked for better service. My order was dealt with by Binda and Stuart, both of whom were friendly, helpful, and extremely patient. I changed my mind a number of times but things were dealt with cheerfully and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The quality of the units is great and I am very pleased with the final result.
Even the delivery team were first rate. I was delayed getting home in time for the delivery, yet they waited for me and were still cheerful when I finally arrived, despite the fact that it was after 6pm on a Friday evening.
Overall I would highly recommend this company and plan to use them again when I do my bathroom.

We really did our homework when buying our kitchen, went to b&q wren kitchens & magnet,
All boring when planning our units,

We went to see stuart dale and blew us away with his design and the cost off the kitchen was cheaper than all 3 previous ,

Hacker units are by far the best very well made and looks the business
Stuart's design was amazing never thought you could do what he showed us,
Top class service nothing to much trouble small issues but all very good and very pleased

Will be using them for our bathrooms next

Cambabest were recommended to us by a friend for our Kitchen requirements for our bespoke new build home. We contacted Stuart Dale and were impressed straight away. His enthusiasm and creative vision matched our passion and commitment for the project and he contributed hugely to the wow factor we were looking to achieve.

Stuart was excellent in all our dealings from numerous design meetings through to negotiation and installation oversight of the kitchen. High quality German kitchen units and appliances, combined with imaginative design of Quartz and Corian worktops, and mirrored plinths delivered the WOW we wanted - and some! We were delighted with the finished product, the quality of workmanship. and the whole experience.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Stuart and Cambabest.

We recently had a kitchen done and were very pleased with the finished job.
We visited the show room and were amazed with the great layout and the choice given.
We were left to look round in peace and if we had any questions just to ask.
We then sat down with the designer gave him our sizes and a basic drawing, he then gave us a few other ideas , we were a bit pushed for time, so left it with him to do us a 3D computer drawing and quotation , We went back the next day and were amazed at the design and ideas he gave us , we would never have thought of it ourselves, we went ahead and ordered a white German kitchen, with siltstone worktops and Siemens appliances , we arranged a fitting date and the work was done on time , and to a very high standard, I don't normally do reviews, but we were so happy with end result , a good review is well deserved, thank you cambabest

I bought a kitchen from Cambabest, everyone was friendly, had lots of advice and ideas to help my kitchen look amazing. There was a item delivered to me with slight damage but was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Overall I am happy with the customer service and my kitchen looks great.

Worst customer service I have ever had. Due a delivery between 8am - 6pm - no show ! not even a call to say they can not make it. Phoned the following morning said it would be half and hour - no show ! - phoned back an hour later - was told they would look into it and get back to us, and guess what ? - no call - phoned another hour later and said it would be here in a couple of hours - it it was up to me I would cancel the order - so lets see if it turns up. Never again will I buy anything from here !!!!!!

They made a mistake by sending me the wrong colour slabs after I had already ordered 320 slabs, needed 32 more. The guy I spoke to wouldn't take my word for it that they are not the right colour,after a long debate they sent the wrong slabs again,so this time I gave them a sample to take back ,2 days later still nothin! So I had to drive down with another sample in rush hour and sort it out . They said I'll get the delivery tomorrow. The next day I received nothing. All this took a week. My builders were livid. Not once did I get an apology. Once they have your money, they don't care . Typical!

Products may be good - But the products are not made by Cambabest.
What I want to judge them on is the customer service. Good service here is hit&miss. Staff can be rude and unhelpful. The managers lack manners and any refinement.

This company should be called Cambazoo not Cambabest. The staff have no customer service skills at all and found it very rude in the way the staff start dealing with other customers whilst I was standing in front of them and my query wasn't resolved. Then the member of staff I was dealing with disappeared when I thought he was helping and dealing with my query. When I asked where has he gone to another staff member he very rudely replied he has gone to the toilet without any sort of appology or courtesy or making any eye contact. Absolutly disgusted with their customer dealings probably get better customer service out of a sheep. I would not recommend to anyone and definately would look elsewhere for future building supplies. Just because this company seem busy it does not mean you treat your customers like s**t. They think they can do this because one customer they loose may not make a difference. If you still want to shop here be aware of the wait and disorganised and illiterate staff and rudeness.

Should be called CambaJest..because they are jesters. Cambabest kitchens is certainly no where near as superior as the advisors would have you believe. The price is equally extortionate. The advisor I had wasn't very helpful (compared to other kitchen places), they are as sweet as pie until they get a deposit from you at which point the true colours begin to surface. Their showroom may look impressive but don't be fooled, Even their lesser Omega kitchen range is very expensive , they charge £300 more for pull out draws than cupboards, u get so much less here than other kitchen places. The worktops can be purchased cheaper online , I found the same worktop £200 cheaper online just get the name of it and type it into a search engine . overall save your hard earned money and go somewhere else. Quality is dreadful and service is Abominable AVOID THIS COMPANY.

We couldn't be happier with the excellent service we got from cambabest. My kitchen looks amazing and all the advise we were given helped enormously. Something for every budget but still great quality.
